Hangloa granitoids form part of the wide range calc-alkaline Pan-African granitic suites within the Adamawa Yade Domain(AYD)in *** are several reports on metaluminous granitoids within this *** peraluminous suite has been locally reported and their petrogenesis is not fully *** and whole-rock geochemistry were used to study the petrogenesis/formation of granitic rocks within this *** results show that the granitoids are composed of quartzo-feldspathic,made up of granites,monzonites and quartz monzonites which were intruded in the Paleoproterozoic orthogneissic *** major and trace element compositions show that they are high-K calc-alkaline to shoshonites,with S-type *** molar ratio A/CNK is>1.1,while the ratio of CaO+Na_(2)O/Al_(2)O_(3) is generallymaking them strongly *** REE shows enrichment in the LREE over the HREE,with(La/Yb)N varying from 11.9 to 53.32,(Dy/Yb)N from 0.77 to 2.13 and moderately negative Eu anomaly((Eu/Eu^(*))N range from 0.42 to 0.93).Most granite samples show depletion in P,with CaO/Na_(2)Omaterials followed by fractional crystallization of the granitic *** source nature requires fragments of Paleoproterozoic metasedimentary and metaigneous rocks derived from the collision between the north-central Cameroon block and the Congo Craton during the Pan-African.

Acute Peritonitis at the Reference Health Center of Commune I of the District of Bamako: Epidemiological, Clinical and Therapeutic Aspects

Acute peritonitis is most often secondary to perforation of the digestive organ and/or the spread of an intra-abdominal septic focus. The objectives of this work were to study acute peritonitis in the general surgery department of the Cs ref of commune I in mali, to determine the frequency of peritonitis, to describe the epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic aspects in order to analyze the surgical consequences and to assess the additional cost of treating acute peritonitis. This study was prospective, descriptive, cross-sectional involving 40 patients received in the surgery department of the Cs ref of commune I for acute peritonitis from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. There were 40 patients among whom 28 (70%) were men and 12 were women (30%), i.e. a sex ratio = 2.3. The average age was 25 years with extremes varying between 16 and 54 years and a standard deviation of 11.78. Abdominal pain was the main reason for consultation. Clinical examination alone made it possible to make the diagnosis in 75% of cases. Surgical treatment depended on the intraoperative etiology. The clinical diagnosis was supported by ASP and abdominal ultrasound;performed respectively in 10% and 90% of patients. Appendiceal peritonitis was the intraoperative diagnosis observed in 50% of cases. All our patients benefited from a peritoneal toilet with drainage. We noted a morbidity rate of 5% dominated by parietal suppuration. The average cost of care was 175,000 FCFA.

The appendicular peritonitis is complications of acute appendicitis which are characterized by the diffusion of the infectious process to the peritoneal cavity thus carrying out a generalized or located purulent peritonitis. It can appear from the start or follow the stage of appendicular abscess. Synchronous transverse and sigmoid colon volvulus are very rare. We report the case of a 23-year-old man who underwent emergency surgery for sigmoid colon volvulus. An intraoperative finding of transverse colon volvulus associated with sigmoid colon volvulus was made. Left and transverse colectomy was performed followed by colorectal anastomosis. The postoperative period was uneventful. Synchronous volvulus of the transverse and sigmoid colon is a surgical emergency. The clinical signs are not specific and the discovery is often intraoperative. It is necessary to know how to evoke the diagnosis in a case of sigmoid colon volvulus, to avoid inadequate management with dramatic consequences.

Introduction: Sigmoid colon volvulus is a medico-surgical emergency which represents a common cause of colonic occlusion, it is characterized by strangulation of the sigmoid loop around its meso colic axis producing low mechanical occlusion [1]. Apart from this form conventionally described, the volvulus of the sigmoid colon can occur along an organoaxial axis. This form has been highlighted in the literature thanks to the diagnostic contribution of multi-detector scanners [2]. Objective: To determine the hospital frequency of sigmoid colon volvulus;to write the clinical and para-clinical aspects of sigmoid colon volvulus;write down the different treatments used for the management of sigmoid colon volvulus.

In the Sahel region, the population depends largely on rain-fed agriculture. In West Africa in particular, climate models turn out to be unable to capture some basic features of present-day climate variability. This study proposes a contribution to the analysis of the evolution of agro-climatic risks in the context of climate variability. Some statistical tests are used on the main variables of the rainy season to determine the trends and the variabilities described by the data series. Thus, the paper provides a statistical modeling of the different agro-climatic risks while the seasonal variability of agro-climatic parameters was analyzed as well as their inter annual variability. The study identifies the probability distributions of agroclimatic risks and the characterization of the rainy season was clarified.

Physico-Chemical and Mineralogical Characterization of Two Clay materials of the Far North Region of Cameroon(makabaye,maroua)

To contribute to the valorization of local materials, the physico-chemical and mineralogical characterization of two clay materials MJ and MN collected in the mayo Tsanaga river which crosses the makabaye district of maroua (Cameroon) was carried out. For this purpose, various methods of characterization have been used, namely granulometric analysis, Atterberg limits, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and X-ray diffraction. It is apparent from the granulometry that the clay materials studied titrate 33.77% of clays for MJ against 44.13% for MN. The plasticity indices Ip with values IpMJ = 19.27% and IpMN = 23.4% place the materials in the plastic domain and offer them the possibility to being shaped into objects. The chemical composition of the MJ and MN materials reveals that the silicon oxide SiO2, the aluminumoxide Al2O3 and iron oxide Fe2O3 are their main constituents. The X-ray diffraction of the MJ and MN materials shows that they consist mainly of quartz with associated kaolinite, illite, montmorillonite, perlialite, dickite, nacrite, amesite, albite, brookite and anorthite. In addition to these, 2/1 minerals such as muscovite, nontronite, glauconite, and phlogopite are also identified in the MJ material. The peaks of sanidine, microcline and gismondine are also found in the MN material. The materials being rich in clay minerals 2/1 can be valorized in the adsorption and the absorption of the oils and greases and in the waterproofing of the grounds. The presence of quartz, kaolinite and illite is undoubtedly favorable for the manufacture of ceramic products in terracotta. These products will be obtained at a relatively lower temperature due to illite, feldspars and iron minerals that provide vitrification during firing by forming eutectics. The aluminosilicate amorphous phases contained in the studied materials can be exploited to produce geopolymer cements and concretes.

The overall objective of this research was to determine consumers＇ preferences for quality and safety attributes of milk products using advances in the best-worst scaling approach. A list of 16 quality and safety attributes of milk products based on previous studies was compiled and used in this study. The balanced incomplete block design technique was used to build the questionnaire administered to respondents in the data collection. The multinomial mixed logit was employed to analyze the data. Results suggest that nutritive value, shelf life, availability, purity and safety are the most important attributes of milk product; while origin, fat content, food miles, packaging and handling convenience are the least importance attributes of milk products to consumers The study concludes that demand for dairy products can be significantly stimulated in the study area when these most important attributes have been considered by producers, processors and marketers.
