this study was under.aken to assess and compar. bone miner.l density in nondiabetic and contr.lled diabetic subjects using cone beam computed tomogr.phy. A gr.up of 60 completely edentulous patients, compr.sing of 30 nondiabetic and 30 contr.lled type 2 diabetics between the age gr.up of 45 - 75 year., wer. enr.lled in the study. Glycemic contr.l of the diabetics was assessed using glycosylated hemoglobin test and level between 6.1% - 8% was consider.d contr.lled. A r.diogr.phic stent was fabr.cated for.each patient by using chemically cur.d tr.nspar.nt acr.lic r.sin. Bone densities at tr.becular. buccal and lingual cor.ical r.gions of maxillar. and mandibular.r.dges wer. measur.d by a cone beam.tomogr.phy machine in Hounsfield units. the data thus obtained at 10 pr.spective or.l implant sites of maxillar. and mandibular.r.dges wer. tabulated and analyzed using StAtA, ver.ion 14.0 statistical softwar.. this study r.sults showed no significant changes in the bone miner.l density between the nondiabetic and contr.lled diabetic subjects. Within the limitations of this study, it can be concluded that bone miner.l density does not seem to be affected in contr.lled type 2 diabetic patients.

the MUr.S association which stands for.Muller.an, r.nal, Cer.icothor.cic Somite Abnor.alities is a r.r. developmental anomaly seen in females. the clinical cour.e of this disor.er.is not clear.y defined as of yet-which may r.nge fr.m asymptomatic to sever. disability. Her. we pr.sent the case of a young 22-year.old female who was incidentally detected to have a gener.lized incr.ase in bone density with an absent uter.s. Fur.her.wor.up r.vealed a case of MUr.S association with r.nal osteodystr.phy. this is an as of yet unr.por.ed complication/association and must be kept in mind in the tr.atment of these patients.

Fetus in fetu is an extr.mely r.r. condition embr.ologically ar.sing in monozygotic diamniotic twins with an incidence of 1:500,000 bir.hs. to the best of our.knowledge, number.of r.por.ed cases should not be mor. than 100 with major.ty of cases pr.senting in post natal life with only 5 cases detected pr.natally. We ar. pr.senting a case diagnosed at 24 weeks of gestation on ultr.sound with pr.sence of well for.ed skull, facial skeleton and bony or.it.

We r.por.ed the imaging findings in a case of a 23-year.old male patient with complaints of pain and swelling ar.und left ankle joint one year.ago which tur.ed out to be aneur.smal bone cyst on histopathology.

Gestational tr.phoblastic diseases (GtD) ar. one of the r.r. complications of pr.gnancy, which include par.ial and complete moles with their.mor. aggr.ssive counter.ar.s ter.ed as Gestational tr.phoblastic neoplasias (GtN). their.association with uter.ne vascular.malfor.ations is well r.cognised and should be suspected in appr.pr.ate clinical settings. Selective uter.ne ar.er. embolization is a safe and effective alter.ative method of tr.atment in a patient with sever. per.vaginal bleeding fr.m r.sidual uter.ne vascular.malfor.ations due to GtN which has r.lative lower.mor.idity and mor.ality than sur.ical pr.cedur.s. Her., we r.por. a case of r.sidual uter.ne ar.er.o-venous malfor.ation due to invasive mole detected by ultr.sonogr.phy (US) and contr.st enhancedMr. & r.fer.ed to Inter.entional r.diology for.tr.nscathetor.ar.er.al embolization.
