this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(Ham).the effects of significant flow param.ters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved param.ters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength param.ter and the radius of curvature param.ter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference param.ter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

this paper investigates the operation and analysis of the photovoltaic water pumping system in detail. Power electronic controllers were designed and developed for the water pumping system using a boost converter along with an inverter followed by an induction motor pump set. the proposed system could be employed in agricultural irrigation under any operating condition of varying natures of solar irradiances and temperatures. the configuration and implementation of the system were described in detail. Further, the detailed method of analysis and simulation characteristics of such PV water pumping system was also presented. Effects of gamma-ray irradiation on electronic and non-electronic equipment of Large Helical Device

In a deuterium operation on the Large Helical Device, the measurement and control equipment placed in the toms hall must survive under an environment of radiation, to study the effects of gamma-ray irradiation on the equipment, an irradiation experiment is performed at the Cobalt-60 irradiation facility of Nagoya University. transient and permanent effects on a personal computer, media converters, programmable logic controllers, isolation amplifiers, a web camera, optical flow meters, and water sealing gaskets are experimentally surveyed. transient noise appears on the web camera. Offset of the signal increases with an increase of the integrated dose on the programmable logic controller. the DeviceNet module on the programmable logic controller is broken at the integrated dose of 72 Gy, which is the expected range of the integrated dose of the toms hall. the other equipment can survive under the gamma-ray field in the toms hall.

Influence of Heat Input on martensite Formation and Impact Property of Ferritic-Austenitic Dissimilar Weld metals

the effect of heat input on martensite formation and impact properties of gas metal arc welded modified ferritic stainless steel （409m） sheets （as received） with thickness of 4 mm was described in detail in this work. the welded joints were prepared under three heat input conditions, i.e. 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6 kJ/mm using two different austenitic filler wires （308L and 316L） and shielding gas composition of Ar ＋ 5% CO2. the welded joints were evaluated by microstructure and charpy impact toughness. the dependence of weld metal microstructure on heat input and filler wires were determined by dilution calculation, Creq/Nieq ratio, stacking fault energy （SFE）, optical microscopy （Om） and transmission electron microscopy （tEm）. It was observed that the microstructure as well as impact property of weld metal was significantly affected by the heat input and filler wire. Weld metals prepared by high heat input exhibited higher amount of martensite laths and toughness compared with those prepared by medium and low heat inputs, which was true for both the filler wires. Furthermore, 308L weld metals in general provided higher amount of martensite laths and toughness than 316L weld metals.

the oscillatory behavior, static and dynamic analyses of a micro/nano gyroscope considering geometric nonlinearities and intermolecular forces

the nonlinear dynamic and static deflection of a micro/nano gyroscope under DC voltages and base rotation are investigated. the gyroscope undertakes two cou- pled bending motions along the drive and sense directions and subjected to electrostatic actuations and intermolecular forces. the nonlinear governing equations of motion for the system with the effect of electrostatic force, intermolecular tractions and base rotation are derived using extended Hamilton principle. Under constant voltage, the gyroscope finds the preformed shape. First, the deflection of the rnicro/nano gyroscope under electrostatic forces is obtained by static and dynamic analyses. Furthermore, the static and dynamic in- stability of the system are investigated. Afterward the oscillatory behavior of the pre-deformed micro/nano gyroscope around equilibrium is studied. the effects of intermolecular and nonlinear param.ters on the static and dynamic de- flection, natural frequencies and instability of the micro/nano gyroscope are studied. the presented model can be used to exactly determine static and the dynamic behavior of vibratory micro/nano gyroscopes.

Quantal studies of sodium 3p ← 3s photoabsorption spectra perturbed by ground lithium atoms

the pressure broadening in the far wings, where the sodium Na(3 p ← 3 s) resonance line is perturbed by ground lithium Li(2 s) atoms, has been theoretically analyzed. the NaLi potential–energy curves and the transition dipole moments are constructed by using a reliable ab initio data points to carry out the reduced-absorption coefficients k_r(ν, t). this quantum-mechanical investigation have demonstrated that the NaLi profile spectra show a satellite future in the red wing at wavelength λ = 685 nm in the temperature range 4000 k–1.8 × 10~4 k. the computation could also exhibit a second satellite, in the blue wing, near the wavelength λ = 574 nm beyond 6000 k and a third peak located at λ = 490 nm which begins to appear at 1.8 × 10~4 k.

An Exact Anisotropic Quark Star model

We present an exact analytical solution of the gravitational field equations describing a static spherically symmetric anisotropic quark matter distribution. the radial pressure inside the star is assumed to obey a linear equation of state, while the tangential pressure is a complicated function of the radial coordinate. In order to obtain the general solution of the field equations a particular density profile inside the star is also assumed. the anisotropic pressure distribution leads to an increase in the maximum radius and mass of the quark star, which in the present model is around three solar masses.

Heat transfer Augmentation in Developing Flow through a Ribbed Square Duct

An experimental study is conducted to investigate the heat transfer augmentation in developing turbulent flow through a ribbed square duct. the duct is made of 16ram.thick bakelite sheet. the bottom surface of the ribbed wall having rib pitch to height ratio of 10 is heated by passing a c current to the heater placed under it. the uniform heating is controlled using a digital temperature controller and a variac. the results of ribbed duct are compared with the results of a smooth duct under the same experimental conditions. It is observed that the heat transfer augmentation in ribbed duct is better than that of the smooth duct. At Re=5.0× 10^4 , the mean temperature of air flowing through the ribbed duct increases by 2.45 percent over the smooth duct, whereas in the fibbed duct Nusselt number increases by 15.14 percent than that of the smooth duct with a 6 percent increase in pressure drop.

magnetic Properties of Nd-Fe-B Sintered magnet Powders Recovered by Yb metal Vapor Sorption

Fine ground powders of Nd-Fe-B sintered magnet bulks (particle size=46～125 μm in diam.ter) were coated and alloyed with Yb metal by sorbing them. A significant recovery of the decreased magnetic properties of the ground powders (remanence B r=～0.95 t, coercivity H cj =～227 kA·m -1 and maximum energy product (BH) max=～48 8 kJ·m -3) was observed in accordance with increasing temperature up to 800 ℃. the sorbing temperature and time for Yb metal vapor were optimized and after heating at 800 ℃ for 90 min and annealing subsequently at 610 ℃ for 60 min, the B r, H cj and (BH) max values were increased to be 0.98 t, 712 kA·m -1 and 173 kJ·m -3, respectively. From the microstructural characterizations of resulting samples by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEm), and electron probe X-ray microanalyzer (EPmA), it is found that the sorbed Yb metal uniformly covers the surface and diffuses to the Nd-rich grain boundary of fine ground powders of Nd-Fe-B sintered magnet bulks forming a (Nd,Yb)Fe 2 phase.
