Nonlinear dynamic modeling of planar moving Timoshenko beam considering non-rigid non-elastic axial effects

Due to the importance of vibration effects on the functional accuracy of mechanical systems,this research.a.ms to develop a precise model of a nonlinearly vibrating single-link mobile flexible *** manipulator consists of an elastic arm,a rotary motor,and a rigid carrier,and undergoes general in-plane rigid body motion along with elastic transverse *** accurately model the elastic behavior,Timoshenko’s beam theory is used to describe the flexible arm,which.a.counts for rotary inertia and sh.a. deformation *** applying Newton’s second law,the nonlinear governing equations of motion for the manipulator are derived as a coupled system of ordinary differential equations(ODEs)and partial differential equations(PDEs).Then,the assumed mode method(amM)is used to solve this nonlinear system of governing equations with.a.propriate shape *** assumed modes can be obtained after solving the characteristic equation of a Timoshenko beam with clamped boundary conditions at one end and an attached mass/inertia at the *** addition,the effect of the transverse vibration of the inextensible arm on its axial behavior is *** the axial rigidity,the effect makes the rigid body dynamics invalid for the axial behavior of the ***,numerical simulations are conducted to evaluate the performance of the developed model,and the results are compared with those obtained by the finite element *** comparison confirms the validity of the proposed dynamic model for the *** to the mentioned features,this model can be reliable for investigating the system’s vibrational behavior and implementing vibration control algorithms.

Introduction:Medication-related osteonecrosis of the temporal bone is rare and has been reported to be associated with the use of anti-resorptive and biologic ***,we present the first case of tyrosine-kinase inhibitor-related external auditory canal(EAC)osteonecrosis as well as two cases related to anti-resorptive ***:A retrospective case ***:Case one:an 84-year-old female presented with chronic otitis externa and osteonecrosis of EACs *** had a history of osteoporosis treated with denosumab and risedronic *** successfully underwent left EAC reconstruction using an inferiorly-based pedicle periosteal flap while the right ear canal was managed *** two:a 69-year-old male presented with osteonecrosis of the right *** had a history of osteoporosis treated with.a.endronic acid and zoledronic *** osteonecrosis is conservatively managed with local debridement and antibiotic *** three:a 60-year-old male presented with osteonecrosis of the right inferior *** had a history of chronic myelogenous leukemia treated with.a.tyrosine-kinase inhibitor,*** failing conservative therapy,he underwent right ear canal reconstruction using a periosteal vascular pedicle flap without complication and experienced complete resolution to his ***:Anti-resorptive agents and/or tyrosine kinase inhibitors may lead to dysregulation of bone remodeling and result in rare cases of temporal bone *** a local debridement and antibiotic therapy fail,definitive surgical excision of necrotic bone with subsequent reconstruction of the EAC may offer patients a possible resolution in symptoms.

Geochemical and mineralogical studies were performed in the La Pesca(LP)and Tesoro Altam.ra(TA)beach sediments,located in the Tamaulipas state,northern Gulf of *** main aim of this study is to infer the weathering history and provenance and to discriminate the tectonic environment of the beach *** sediments are composed of quartz with small amounts of accessory minerals such.a. plagioclase,calcite,orthoclase,microcline,and *** beach sediments are classified as fine-grained and very well sorted,however LP has coarse skewed and leptokurtic sediments,whereas TA has fine-skewed and very leptokurtic *** chemical index of weathering(CIW’)indicates intense weathering in the source *** quartz grain microtextures in the LP and TA are classified into mechanical,chemical,and mechanical/chemical *** features such.a. fractures,pits,percussion marks,abrasion fatigue,and V-shaped marks favor high-energy littoral,fluvial,subaqueous-marine,and aeolian *** chemical features indicate solution pits and crystalline overgrowth,which suggests a silica saturated marine *** mechanical/chemical features display adhering particles and elongated depressions suggest formation in a sub-aqueous nearshore marine *** and trace elements-based provenance discrimination diagrams indicate a felsic source derived from the Mesa Central(MC),Sierra Madre Oriental(SMOr)and Oaxaquia *** major and trace element concentrations imply a passive margin setting for the northern Gulf of Mexico,which is consistent with the general geology.

Fuzzy entropy measures are valuable tools in decision-making when dealing with uncertain or imprecise *** exist many entropy measures for Pythagorean Fuzzy Sets(PFS)in the literature that fail to deal with the problem of providing reasonable or consistent results to the *** deal with the shortcomings of the existing measures,this paper proposes a robust fuzzy entropy measure for PFS to facilitate decision-making under *** usefulness of the measure is illustrated through.a. illustration of decision-making in a supplier selection problem and compared with existing fuzzy entropy *** Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)approach is also explored to solve the decision-making *** results demonstrate that the proposed measure can effectively capture the degree of uncertainty in the decision-making process,leading to more accurate decision outcomes by providing a reliable and robust ranking of alternatives.

Mapping global research trends: Nutrition associations with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease - a Scopus bibliometric analysis

BACKGrOUND Several bibliometric analyses have been carried out to identify research hotspots and trends in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)***,there are still significant knowledge gaps that must be filled to advance our understanding of and ability to treat *** To evaluate,through bibliometric and visual analysis,the current status of related research,related research frontiers,and the developmental trends in the field of diet and *** We retrieved publications about diet and NAFLD published between 1987 and 2022 from ***,we used VOSviewer 1.6.20 to perform bibliometric analysis and *** We found a total of 1905 studies,including 1637(85.93%)original articles and 195(10.24%)reviews,focused on the examination of NAFLD and its correlation with diet that were published between 1987 and *** the remaining five types of documents,38 were letters,notes,editorials,meeting minutes,or brief surveys,representing 1.99%of the total *** countries with the most publications on this topic were China(n=539;28.29%),followed by the United States(n=379;19.90%),Japan(n=133;6.98%),and South Korea(n=127;6.6%).According to the citation analysis,the retrieved papers were cited an average of 32.3 times and had an h-index of 106,with 61014 total *** two main clusters on the map included those related to:(1)Inflammation and oxidative stress;and(2)Dietary interventions for *** This was the first study to use data taken from Scopus to visualize network mapping in a novel bibliometric analysis of studies focused on diet and *** 2017,the two domains that received the most attention were“dietary interventions for NAFL”’and“‘inflammation and oxidative stress implicated in NAFLD and its correlation with diet.”We believe that this study provides important information for academics,dietitians,and doctors,and that additional research on dietary interventions and NAFLD is warranted.

Evaluating mechanism of banana pseudo-stem retting using seawater:A cost-effective surface pre-treatment approach

retting has been employed to extract natural fibers from agricultural wastes as a biological and cost-effective approach for *** its global abundance,banana pseudo-stem is a promising agro-waste for lignocellulosic fiber *** this study,fibers were extracted from the pseudo-stems after being pre-treated under four conditions using seawater at room temperature for up to 35 d Bacterial isolation from the fresh seawater sample and screening for ligninolytic ability were *** load as well as laccase and manganese peroxidase enzyme activity profile assay during the retting duration were *** transform infrared(FT-Ir)and X-day diffraction(XrD)analyses were also examined for both pre-treated and untreated extracted *** results shows that six out of the eight bacterial isolates had the ability to degrade *** treatments(raw stem+raw seawater)and(Autoclaved stem+raw seawater)recorded the highest viable bacterial load of 9.24×102 and 4.46×102 CFU,respectively,on the 14th day of the retting ***,the highest laccase and manganese peroxidase enzymes activity was recorded for(raw stem+raw seawater)and(Autoclaved stem+raw seawater)treatments in the second to the third *** FT-Ir spectra of the pre-treated fibers revealed relative reductions in peaks attributed to polysaccharides and other am.rphous substances for all retting *** XrD diffractogram.revealed that the crystallinity index(CI)of pre-treated fibers increased in all seawater retting treatment ***,the CI for fibers pre-treated under enzymatic conditions were enhanced even after five *** analysis for selected bacterial isolates showed homology to sequences of Bacillus velezensis,Shewanella sp.L8–5,and Citrobacter amalonaticus and Bacillus subtilis j8 *** these findings,it was suggested that physical,biological,and chemical actions were collectively involved in the seawater retting process of banana ps
