It is clear that perceptions play a significant role in traveler ***,traveler perceptions are a corner stone in the feasibility of traveler information systems;for traveler information systems are only valuable if the drivers are incapable of accurately acquiring the provided information on their own,and if the provided information is relevant for the drivers’decision *** of traveler perceptions has been repeatedly researched in public transportation,and has been found to vary according to different ***,in spite of the clear significance of traveler perceptions,minimal effort has been put into modeling *** all travel behavior models are based on traveler experiences,which are assumed to reflect traveler perceptions via the addition of some random error *** works introduces an alternative approach:instead of adding an error component to represent driver perceptions,it proposes to model driver *** work is based on a real-world route choice experiment of a sample of 20 drivers who made more than 2,000 real-world route *** of the drivers’experiences,perceptions,and choices were recorded,analyzed and cross *** paper demonstrates that:i)driver experiences are different from driver perceptions,ii)driver perceptions explain driver choices better than driver experiences,iii)it is possible to model and predict driver perceptions of travel distance,time and speed.

The reduction of gained heat,heat peak shifting,and the mitigation of air temperature fluctuations are some desirable properties that are sought after in any thermal insulation *** cannot be overstated that these fac-tors,in addition to others,govern the performance of such systems thus their effect on indoor ambient *** effect of such systems extends also to Heating,Ventilation and Air-conditioning(HVAC)systems that are set up to operate optimally in certain *** literature shows that PCMs and natural materials such as wood-shavings can provide efficient passive insulation for buildings,it is evident that such approaches utilise methods that are of a degree of intricacy which require specialist knowledge and complex techniques,such as micro-encapsulation for *** technical and economic aspects in mind,an amalgam of PCM and wood-shavings has been created to be utilised as a feasible thermal *** amalgamation was performed in the simplest of methods,through submerging the wood shavings in *** experimental procedure was devised to test the thermal performance of the amalgam and compare this to the performance of the same un-amalgamated *** analysis revealed that no significant thermal gains would be expected from such ***,a significant reduction in the total weight of the insulation system would be achieved that,in this case,shown to be up to 20.94%.Thus,further reducing possible strains on structural elements due to the application of insulation on *** can be especially beneficial in vernacular architectural approaches where considerably large amounts and thicknesses of insulations are *** addition,cost reduction could be attained as wood shavings are significantly cheaper compared to the cost of PCMs.

The energy spectra of three types of two-dimensional potentials(we will call them‘Davidson-like potentials’(DLPs)),characterized by four minima separated by barriers,are *** predictions for spectra and wave functions are obtained by using the nine-point finite-difference *** these potentials,with the existence of a single configuration,a transition of spectra,as a function of barrier height,is covered from tunneling splitting modes to fluctuations phenomena,with equal peaks wave functions,crossing to the spectra of purely anharmonic oscillator potentials(AOPs).A different type of phase transition occurs when two(or more)configurations *** the change of the parameters,a transition of spectra is covered from coexistence phenomena of two distinct quantum tunneling modes to fluctuations phenomena,with unequal peaks wave functions,crossing to the spectra of purely *** DLPs,a particular application of the coherent quadropole-octupole model to describe energy bands with alternating parity of the nuclei^(100)Mo,^(146,148)Nd,^(148,150)Sm,^(220)Ra,^(220,222)Rn,and^(220,222)Th is *** global parametrization of the model for the selected nuclei is achieved.

Natural antioxidants play a significant role to prevent cell breaking and regenerate *** plants native to India named dwarf morning-glory(Evolvulus alsinoides),Indian banyan(Ficus bengalensis)and chicory(Chicorium intybus)are used as medicine in India traditionally to treat *** aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the antioxidant activity as well as to compare phytochemical profiles of the aqueous extracts of the selected three *** dried plant powder was extracted with ethanol individually by using the Soxhlet method for eight hours and the solvent was evaporated under reduced ***,the air-dried powder was ex-tracted with water,and the water was *** thin layer chromatography(TLC)profile of the extracts was determined by using TLC densitometer and the antioxidant activity was deter-mined by the conventional 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)*** TLC profile shows that there are no similarities of retention factor(R f)values among the plant extracts which means all three plants contain different chemical *** antioxidant activities of the aqueous extracts at different concentrations show different antioxidant *** inhibition is dose dependent,as doses are increasing then percentage inhibition is also increasing for all three plant *** the selected plants,the highest activity was found in *** and the lowest was in *** order of the antioxidant activity among the selected plants was ***<***<*** on the TLC profile and antioxidant activities,the highest activity of the selected plant species was evaluated.

The exploitation of different plant materials for the biosynthesis of nanoparticles is considered a green technology because it does not involve any harmful chemicals. In this study, iron oxide nanoparticles（Fe3O4-NPs） were synthesized using a completely green biosynthetic method by reduction of ferric chloride solution using brown seaweed water extracts. The two seaweeds Padina pavonica（Linnaeus） Thivy and Sargassum acinarium（Linnaeus） Setchell 1933 were used in this study. The algae extract was used as a reductant of Fe Cl3 resulting in the phytosynthesis of Fe3O4-NPs. The phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs were characterized by surface plasmon band observed close to 402 nm and 415 nm; the obtained Fe3O4-NPs are in the particle sizes ranged from 10 to 19.5 nm and 21.6 to 27.4 nm for P. pavonica and S. acinarium, respectively. The strong signals of iron were reported in their corresponding EDX spectra. FTIR analyses revealed that sulphated polysaccharides are the main biomolecules in the algae extracts that do dual function of reducing the Fe Cl3 and stabilizing the phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs were entrapped in calcium alginates beads and used in Pb adsorption experiments. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs alginate beads via P. pavonica（Linnaeus） Thivy had high capacity for bioremoval of Pb（91%） while that of S. acinarium（Linnaeus） Setchell 1933 had a capacity of（78%） after 75 *** values of the process parameters for the maximum Pb removal efficiency by Fe3O4-NPs alginate beads synthesized via P. pavonica（Linnaeus） Thivy were also estimated.

High-quality medical microscopic images used for diseases detection are expensive and difficult to ***,low-resolution images are favorable due to their low storage space and ease of sharing,where the images can be enlarged when needed using Super-Resolution(SR)***,it is important to maintain the shape and size of the medical images while enlarging *** of the problems facing SR is that the performance of medical image diagnosis is very poor due to the deterioration of the reconstructed image ***,this paper suggests a multi-SR and classification framework based on Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)to generate high-resolution images with higher quality and finer details to reduce *** proposed framework comprises five GAN models:Enhanced SR Generative Adversarial Networks(ESRGAN),Enhanced deep SR GAN(EDSRGAN),Sub-Pixel-GAN,SRGAN,and Efficient Wider Activation-B GAN(WDSR-b-GAN).To train the proposed models,we have employed images from the famous BreakHis dataset and enlarged them by 4×and 16×upscale factors with the ground truth of the size of 256×256×***,several evaluation metrics like Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR),Mean Squared Error(MSE),Structural Similarity Index(SSIM),Multiscale Structural Similarity Index(MS-SSIM),and histogram are applied to make comprehensive and objective comparisons to determine the best methods in terms of efficiency,training time,and storage *** obtained results reveal the superiority of the proposed models over traditional and benchmark models in terms of color and texture restoration and detection by achieving an accuracy of 99.7433%.

Cholera in Guinea: The Implication for Safe Water Sources and Sanitations

Objectives: To lay stress upon the importance of adequate water and sanitation in the prevention of cholera in Guinea. Methods: The data on deaths and cases of cholera in Guinea from 2000 to 2011 were downloaded from the WHO Official website. The data on deaths and cases of cholera outbreak which occurred in Guinea from 02 February to 15 October 2012 were collected from the Guinean Ministry of Public Health. The cholera index case is confirmed by a laboratory test. Cholera cases were defined as individuals over one year old who had had watery stools with or without vomiting. Cholera incidence and case fatality rates between different areas of cholera occurrence in the country over time were computed. Results: Over the overall 12-year period (2000-2012), the case fatality rate showed a somewhat sign of slight rising trend when the incidence rates increased rapidly. During the seven consecutive years of cholera outbreaks in Guinea, between 2003 and 2009, the most affected areas were Conakry, Dubreka, Coyah, Boffa, Forécariah, Guékédou, Dalaba and Télimélé. In 2012, Cholera outbreak resulted in an incidence rate of 23.23 per 10,000 population and a case fatality ratio (CFR) of approximately 1.8%. Cases and deaths were reported in 12 prefectures out of 34: Conakry, Coyah, Forecariah, Fria, Boffa, Dubréka, Boké, Mamou, Kindia, Kankan, Kerouané and Dabola. Conclusion: Cholera is an important health problem in Guinea. Any earnest attempts to improve water and sanitation alongside with promotion of good hygienic practices will likely ward off the threat of cholera in the country.

The Internet of Things(IoT)has allowed for significant advancements in applications not only in the home,business,and environment,but also in factory *** Internet of Things(IIoT)brings all of the benefits of the IoT to industrial contexts,allowing for a wide range of applications ranging from remote sensing and actuation to decentralization and *** expansion of the IoT has been set by serious security threats and obstacles,and one of the most pressing security concerns is the secure exchange of IoT data and fine-grained access control.A privacypreserving multi-dimensional secure query technique for fog-enhanced IIoT was proposed in light of the fact that most existing range query schemes for fog-enhanced IoT cannot provide both multi-dimensional query and privacy *** query matrix was then decomposed using auxiliary vectors,and the auxiliary vectorwas then processed usingBGNhomomorphic encryption to create a query ***,the query trapdoor may be matched to its sensor data using the homomorphic computation used by an IoT device *** the application of particular auxiliary vectors,the spatial complexity might be efficiently *** homomorphic encryption property might ensure the security of sensor data and safeguard the privacy of the user’s inquiry *** results of the experiments reveal that the computing and communication expenses are modest.
