In silico evaluation of kuwanon compounds as antiviral agents targeting H9N2 influenza virus

Background:The threat of avian influenza a subtype avian influenza A(H9N2)virus remains a significant concern,necessitating the exploration of novel antiviral *** study employs network pharmacology and computational analysis to investigate the potential of kuwanons,a natural compounds against H9N2 influenza ***:Leveraging comprehensive databases and bioinformatics tools,we elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying Kuwanons pharmacological effects against H9N2 influenza *** pharmacology identifies H9N2 influenza virus targets and compounds through integrated protein-protein interaction and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes *** docking studies were performed to assess the binding affinities and structural interactions of Kuwanon analogues with key targets,shedding light on their potential inhibitory effects on viral replication and ***:Compound-target network analysis revealed complex interactions(120 nodes,163 edges),with significant interactions and an average node degree of *** Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis revealed pathways such as Influenza A,Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction pathway in H9N2 influenza *** docking studies revealed that the binding free energy for the docked ligands ranged between-5.2 and-9.4 kcal/mol for the human interferon-beta crystal structure(IFNB1,Protein Data Bank:1AU1)and-5.4 and-9.6 kcal/mol for Interleukin-6(IL-6,PDB:4CNI).Conclusion:Our findings suggest that kuwanon exhibits promising antiviral activity against H9N2 influenza virus by targeting specific viral proteins,highlighting its potential as a natural therapeutic agent in combating avian influenza infections.

Synthesis and optical properties of nanostructured Ce(OH)_4

Nanocrystalline cerium hydroxide （NCs-Ce（OH）4） is a intermediate product of CeO2, synthesized successfully using a novel and simple wet chemical rout at an ambient temperature for the preparation of NCs CeO2 powder and film on mass scale for various purposes. The synthesized NCs-Ce（OH）4 was characterized using X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, thermo-gravimetric analysis （TGA）, Fourier transform infrared （FTIR）, UV-visible and photoluminescence （PL） spectroscopy. The average crystallite size of NCs-Ce（OH）4 has been estimated by the Scherrer equation to be 3-4 nm. The SEM examinations show that the surface texture was uniformly agglom- erated and homogeneous. Thermal analysis suggests that cerium （IV） ion is in the tetra hydrated form. Absorption and luminescence spectroscopic studies have been examined for future application in the development of optical devices.

Optical and structural properties of sol-gel derived nanostructured CeO_2 film

Sol-gel derived nanostructured CeO_2 film was deposited on glass substrate using by dip-coating technique with annealing at 650℃.X-ray diffraction（XRD）,scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,Fourier transform infrared （FTIR）,UV/vis and photoluminescence（PL） spectroscopy studies were employed to analyze the structural and optical properties of the sol-gel derived nanostructured CeO_2 *** average crystallite size was estimated from the XRD pattern using by Scherrer equation as about 3-4 *** SEM micrograph shows that the film was porous in nature and crack *** UV-visible absorption spectroscopic measurement results showed that the products had conspicuous quantum size *** absorption spectrum indicates that the sol-gel derived nanostructured CeO_2 film has a direct bandgap of 3.23 eV and the photoluminescence spectra of the film show a strong band at 378 nm：it may have a promising application as an optoelectronic material.

The repair and regeneration of the diseases and damaged cartilage tissue are one of the most challenging issues in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. As the cartilage is a non-vascularized and comparatively acellular connective tissue, its ability to the self-restoration is limited to a large extent. Although there is a countless deal of experimental documents on this field, no quantifiable cure exists to bring back the healthy organization and efficacy of the impaired articular cartilage. Tissue reformative approaches have been of excessive curiosity in restoring injured cartilage. Bioengineering of the cartilage has progressed from the cartilage focal damages treatment to bioengineering tactics progress aiming the osteoarthritis procedures. The main focus of the present study is on the diverse potential development of strategies such as various categories of biomaterials applied in the reconstruction of the cartilage tissue.

Nonlocal vibration analysis of circular double-layered graphene sheets resting on an elastic foundation subjected to thermal loading

Based on the nonlocal elasticity theory, the vibration behavior of circular double-layered graphene sheets（DLGSs） resting on the Winkler- and Pasternak-type elastic foundations in a thermal environment is *** governing equation is derived on the basis of Eringen＇s nonlocal elasticity and the classical plate theory（CLPT）.The initial thermal loading is assumed to be due to a uniform temperature rise throughout the thickness direction. Using the generalized differential quadrature（GDQ）method and periodic differential operators in radial and circumferential directions, respectively, the governing equation is discretized. DLGSs with clamped and simply-supported boundary conditions are studied and the influence of van der Waals（vd W） interaction forces is taken into *** the numerical results, the effects of various parameters such as elastic medium coefficients, radius-to-thickness ratio,thermal loading and nonlocal parameter are examined on both in-phase and anti-phase natural frequencies. The results show that the thermal load and elastic foundation respectively decreases and increases the fundamental frequencies of DLGSs.

On Cost Aware Cloudlet Placement for Mobile Edge Computing

As accessing computing resources from the remote cloud inherently incurs high end-to-end(E2E)delay for mobile users,cloudlets,which are deployed at the edge of a network,can potentially mitigate this *** some research works focus on allocating workloads among cloudlets,the cloudlet placement aiming to minimize the deployment cost(i.e.,consisting of both the cloudlet cost and average E2E delay cost)has not been addressed effectively so *** locations and number of cloudlets have a crucial impact on both the cloudlet cost in the network and average E2E delay of ***,in this paper,we propose the Cost Aware cloudlet PlAcement in moBiLe Edge computing(CAPABLE)strategy,where both the cloudlet cost and average E2E delay are considered in the cloudlet *** solve this problem,a Lagrangian heuristic algorithm is developed to achieve the suboptimal *** cloudlets are placed in the network,we also design a workload allocation scheme to minimize the E2E delay between users and their cloudlets by considering the user *** performance of CAPABLE has been validated by extensive simulations.

Measurement of creep of optical fiber by a low coherent white light double interferometer system

The creep properties of optical fiber used in fiber optical sensors were studied in this paper. A low co- herent white light double interferometer system was designed and calibrated and the creep deforma- tions of optical fibers under static and cyclic loadings were measured with this device. The research results showed that polymer coated optical fibers crept at the beginning when they were under static or cyclic load. As the number of the cyclic loading or the static loading times increased the creep tended to stop. Thus to ensure that the optical fiber keeps pre-stress for long time in pressure transducer, it is recommended that the optical fiber should be tensioned cyclically before being fixed into the sensor device.

Impact of surface coating on morphological, optical and photoluminescence properties of YF3：Tb^3＋ nanoparticles

A simple polyol and sol–gel Stober process were employed for synthesis of YF_3：Tb~＋（core）, YF_3：Tb~＋@LaF_3（core/shell） and YF_3：Tb~＋@LaF_3@SiO_2（core/shell/SiO_2） nanoparticles（NPs）. The phase purity, crystalinity,morphology, optical and photoluminescence properties were investigated and discussed with the help of various analytical techniques including X-ray diffraction pattern,FE-transmission electron microscopy（TEM）,FTIR, UV/vis absorption, energy band gap and emission spectra. XRD andFE-TEM studies indicate the formation of core/shell nanostructure and ~10 nm thick amorphous silica surface coating surrounding the core-NPs, which is also confirmed byFTIR spectral results. The surface modifications of core-NPs significantly affect the optical features in the form of energy band gap, which were correlated with particle size of the nanomaterials. The comparative emission spectral results show that after inert layer coating the luminescent core-NPs display stronger emission intensity in respect to core and silica coated core/shell/SiO_2-NPs. The solubility character along with colloidal stability was improved after silica surface modification, whereas luminescent intensity was suppressed causing the surface functionalized with high energy silanol（Si-OH） molecules. These novel luminescent nanomaterials with enhanced emission intensity and excellent solubility in aqueous solvents would be potentially useful for fluorescence bioimaging/optical bio-probe etc.
