Fault diagnosis technology plays an important role in the industries due to the emergency fault of a machine could bring the heavy lost for the people and the company. A fault diagnosis model based on multi-manifold learning and particle swarm optimization support vector machine(PSO-SVM) is studied. This fault diagnosis model is used for a rolling bearing experimental of three kinds faults. The results are verified that this model based on multi-manifold learning and PSO-SVM is good at the fault sensitive features acquisition with effective accuracy.

The advances in research and treatment of autism spectrum disorders(ASD) over the past three decades have focused largely on early childhood and school-age years. Although ASD is a lifelong condition, there has been relatively little attention paid to ASD during the adolescent and adulthood periods. As the population of those with ASD continues to rise and age, the need to provide research and treatment for this group has become increasingly evident. This paper reviews the current literature available on symptoms, functioning, and treatment of adolescents and adults with ASD, as well as the unique issues that arise for individuals with ASD after childhood. Adulthood outcomes for ASD are generally poor, even for those with average to above average cognitive ability. Further research and additional clinical resources are needed for this rapidly increasing group.

With no assumption on the problem it isproved that from any initial point this algorithm generates a sequence of points which convergesto the closed convex set of optimal solutions of EMFL.

Total joint replacement is a highly successful surgical procedure for treatment of patients with disabling arthritis and joint dysfunction. However, over time, with high levels of activity and usage of the joint, implant wear particles are generated from the articulating surfaces. These wear particles can lead to activation of an inflammatory reaction, and subsequent bone resorption around the implant （periprosthetic osteolysis）. Cells of the monocyte/macrophage lineage orchestrate this chronic inflammatory response, which is dominated by a pro-inflammatory （M 1） macrophage phenotype rather than an anti-inflammatory pro-tissue healing （M2） macrophage phenotype. While it has been shown that interleukin-4 （IL-4） selectively polarizes macrophages towards an M2 anti-inflammatory phenotype which promotes bone healing, rather than inflammation, little is known about the time course in which this occurs or conditions in which repolarization through I L-4 is most effective. The goal of this work was to study the time course of murine macrophage polarization and cytokine release in response to challenge with combinations of polymethyl methacrylate （PMMA） particles, lipopolysaccharide （LPS） and IL-4 in vitro. Treatment of particle-challenged monocyte/macrophages with IL-4 led to an initial suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and inducible nitric oxide synthase （iNOS） production and subsequent polarization into an M2 anti-inflammatory phenotype. This result was optimized when IL-4 was delivered before PMMA particle challenge, to an M 1 phenotype rather than to uncommitted （MO） macrophages. The effects of this polarization were sustained over a 5-day time course. Polarization of M1 macrophages into an M2 phenotype may be a strategy to mitigate wear particle associated periprosthetic osteolysis.

We report invalidating errors related to the statistical approach in the analysis and data inconsistencies in a published single cohort study of patients with Crohn's disease. We provide corrected calculations from the available data and request that a corrected analysis be provided by the authors. These errors should be corrected.

Two new saponins named asterlingulatosides A and b were isolated from the whole plants of Aster lingulatus. Their structures were elucidated by spectral and chemical evidence as 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-3 beta, 16 alpha-dihydroxyolean-12-en-28-oic acid -28-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside and 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-3 beta,16 alpha-dihydroxyolean-12-en-28-oic acid -28-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)- alpha-L-arabinopyranoside respectively. They showed inhibitory activity on DNA synthesis of human leukemia HL-60 cells.

In this paper,quantitative measures for the assessment of the hydraulic excavator digging efficiency are proposed and *** following factors are considered:(a) boundary digging forces allowed for by the stability of an excavator,(b) boundary digging forces enabled by the driving mechanisms of the excavator,(c) factors taking into consideration the digging position in the working range of an excavator,and(d) sign and direction of potential digging resistive force.A corrected digging force is defined and a mathematical model of kinematic chain and drive mechanisms of a five-member excavator configuration was developed comprising:an undercarriage,a rotational platform and an attachment with boom,stick,and *** the basis of the mathematical model of the excavator,software was developed for computation and detailed analysis of the digging forces in the entire workspace of the *** using the developed software,the analysis of boundary digging forces is conducted and the corrected digging force is determined for two models of hydraulic excavators of the same mass(around 17 000 kg) with identical kinematic chain parameters but with different parameters of manipulator driving *** results of the analysis show that the proposed set of quantitative measures can be used for assessment of the digging efficiency of existing excavator models and to serve as an optimization criterion in the synthesis of manipulator driving mechanisms of new excavator models.

A radical new approach is presented to programming human-like levels of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into a humanoid robot equipped with a verbal-phoneme sound generator. The system shares 3 important characteristics with human-like input data and processing: 1) The raw data and preliminary processing of the raw data are human-like. 2) All the data are subjective, that is related and correlated with a robotic self-identity coordinate frame. 3) All the data are programmed behaviorally into the system. A multi-tasking Relational Robotic Controller (RRC)-Humanoid Robot, described and published in the peer-reviewed literature, has been specifically designed to fulfill those 3 characteristics. A RRC-controlled system may be behaviorally programmed to achieve human-like high I.Q. levels of subjective AI for the visual signals and the declarative-verbal words and sentences heard by the robot. A proof of concept RRC-Humanoid Robot is under development and present status is presented at the end of the paper.
