We explore the gapped graphene structure in the two-dimensional plane in the presence of the Rosen-Morse potential and an external uniform magnetic *** order to describe the corresponding structure,we consider the propagation of electrons in graphene as relativistic fermion quasi-particles,and analyze it by the wave functions of two-component spinors with pseudo-spin symmetry using the Dirac ***,to solve and analyze the Dirac equation,we obtain the eigenvalues and eigenvectors using the Legendre differential *** that,we obtain the bounded states of energy depending on the coefficients of Rosen-Morse and magnetic potentials in terms of quantum numbers of principal n and spin-orbit ***,the values of the energy spectrum for the ground state and the first excited state are calculated,and the wave functions and the corresponding probabilities are plotted in terms of coordinates *** what follows,we explore the band structure of gapped graphene by the modified dispersion relation and write it in terms of the two-dimensional wave vectors K_(x) and K_(y).Finally,the energy bands are plotted in terms of the wave vectors K_(x) and K_(y) with and without the magnetic term.

The room temperature synthesis of ZIF-8 micro-and nano-particles was investigated using a mixed methanol-water solvent ***-8 particles of good quality and high crystallinity were *** surface methodology was used to determine the effect of the synthesis conditions on the ZIF-8 yield,particle size distribution,and mean particle *** ligand/metal salt molar ratio followed by the amount of sodium formate(the deprotonating agent)and then the amount of water(i.e,the composition of the mixed solvent)respectively had the largest effects on both the ZIF-8 yield and particle *** showed that mixing of solvents with different strengths in producing ZIF-8 crystals is a practical method to size-controlled synthesis of ZIF-8 *** method is more favorable for industrial-scale ZIF-8 synthesis than using excess amounts of ligands or chemical additives(like sodium formate).In addition,ZIF-8 samples with different mean particle sizes(100,500,and 1000 nm)were used for CO adsorption and the mid-sized ZIF-8 particles had the highest adsorption capacity.

In the present paper,a sensitivity analysis of pollutants and pattern factor in a model combustor due to changes in the geometrical characteristics of stabilizing jets has been carried *** exhaust pollutants including NO_(x),CO and soot have been chosen due to their harmful effect on the *** pattern factor has been also considered owing to its impact on turbine *** geometrical characteristics comprise diameter,angle and position of stabilizing ***-Lagrangian approach has been employed to model liquid fuel injection and distribution,breakup and evaporation of *** the analysis of reactive-spray flow characteristics,RANS approach,realizable k-εturbulence model,discrete ordinates radiative heat transfer model and steady flamelet combustion model together with the chemical reaction mechanism of diesel fuel(C_(10)H_(22))have been ***_(x) modeling has been performed via *** analysis is such that by making variations in the problem inputs(diameter,angle and position of jets)in an organized manner,the effects on the outputs(NO_(x),CO,soot and pattern factor)are *** number and order of simulations are predicted by design of experiments and full factorial *** have been analyzed using analysis of *** has been observed that if interactions among the characteristics of jets are considered,it is possible to analyze the exhaust pollutants more *** fact,by using the interactions,it is likely to find a point where all output parameters are *** show that by considering interactions of stabilizing jet characteristics,the maximum values of NO_(x),CO,soot and pattern factor change from 13.927 ppm,11.198%mole fraction,2.877 ppm and 0.043 to 26.233 ppm,14.693%mole fraction,142.357 ppm and 0.060,***,the minimum values change from 5.819 ppm,7.568%mole fraction,0.013 ppm and 0.029 to 6.098 ppm,5.987%mole fraction,0.002 ppm and 0.027,respectively.

We propose a scheme to generate entanglement between two distant qubits(two-level atom)which are separately trapped in their own(in general)non-Markovian dissipative cavities by utilizing entangling swapping,considering the case in which the qubits can move along their cavity axes rather than a static state of *** first examine the role of movement of the qubit by studying the entropy evolution for each *** average entropy over the initial states of the qubit is *** by performing a Bell state measurement on the fields leaving the cavities,we swap the entanglement between qubit-field in each cavity into qubit-qubit and field-field *** entangling power is used to measure the average amount of swapped entanglement over all possible pure initial *** results are presented in two weak and strong coupling regimes,illustrating the positive role of movement of the qubits on the swapped *** is revealed that by considering certain conditions for the initial state of qubits,it is possible to achieve a maximally long-leaving stationary entanglement(Bell state)which is entirely independent of the environmental variables as well as the velocity of *** happens when the two qubits have the same velocities.

The bending efficiency of three-dimensional bent multiple-slot waveguides is studied by applying a combined method of effective-index and modified transfer-matrix methods. The effects of asymmetric structure, asymmetric slots, and asymmetric middle strips on the bending efficiency are investigated. We show that the bending efficiency can be improved by the use of asymmetric structures and asymmetric middle strips. The bending efficiency of different slot waveguides （up to quintuple-slot structure） is compared. It is revealed that although the single-slot waveguide in general provides the lowest bending loss for the same waveguide parameters, it is possible that the multiple-slot waveguide can present a lower bending loss than the single-slot one.

The recent surge in the number of machines,appliances,and services connected to the Internet demands secure processing and transmission of sensory *** plays a crucial role in a typical security model used in the Internet of Things(IoT),and it protects data communications from various attacks,such as impersonation and denial of service,by verifying and allowing legitimate users to access the IoT ***,recent authentication literature has not addressed the need for developing a scalable and efficient authentication method in this *** paper proposes a secure and anonymous ticket-based authentication method for the *** proposed method protects the network from various security and privacy threats such as data alternation and denial of service while also offering mutual authentication and sensor *** security and performance evaluations confirm the improvement.

Crack propagation processes in specially prepared concrete discs and rectangular specimens containing a single cylindrical hole or multiple holes of varying diameters have been studied both experimentally and numerically. In this research, the cracks coalescence paths in Brazilian disc and rectangular specimens made from rock-like material containing multi-holes are investigated. These concrete specimens are specially prepared from an appropriate mixture of Portland Pozzolana Cement （PPC）, fine sands, and water. The pre-holed Brazilian discs and rectangular specimens are experimentally tested under compression. The breakage load in the ring type disc specimens containing an axial hole with varying diameters is measured and the distribution of the induced lateral stress is obtained. The mechanism of cracks propagation in the wall of the ring type specimens is also stud- ied. In the case of multi-hole Brazilian disc and rectangular specimens, the cracks propagation and cracks coalescence are also investigated. These experiments are numerically modeled by a modified higher order displacement discontinuity method. It has been shown that the corresponding experimental and numerical results are in good agreement with each other. The results presented in this research vali date the accuracy and applicability of these crack analyses procedures.

Afghanistan is located in the Eurasian loess belt,however,there is little information on the soils in the *** has covered the Herat Plain in western Herat City,*** the diversity of landform and parent material,there is no information on the soil and landform evolution in this *** objectives of this study were to identify the soils along a transect of different landforms in the Herat Plain and determine the role of geomorphic processes on the soil and landform *** pedons from an alluvial fan,the depression between alluvial fan and piedmont plain,saline and non-saline piedmont plains,and the flood plain of the Hariroud River,were ***,the physical-chemical properties,mineralogy,and micromorphology of the samples were *** showed that the soil parent material in the piedmont plain is loess,whereas,in the flood plain it is a combination of loess and river alluvial ***,lessivage,salinization,and gleization are the most important pedogenic *** calcification and lessivage appear to be the result of a wetter climate during the late Quaternary,whereas the present topography causes the gleization and *** coatings on carbonate nodules and iron nodules are abundant pedofeatures in the Btk(argillic-calcic)*** oxides nodules are common in the soils of the flood *** formation of palygorskite in both alluvial-and loess-derived soils implies the onset of aridity and the trend of increase in environmental aridity in the *** seems that after the formation of a well developed paleosol on the alluvial fan in a more humid climate in the past,the piedmont plain has been covered by loess deposits,and the calcification,gleization,and salinization cause the formation of weakly developed surficial *** study highlights the role of the late Quaternary climatic changes on the evolution of landforms and soils in western Afghanistan.
