Condensation is an important regime of heat transfer which has wide applications in different industries such as power plants,heating,ventilating and air conditioning,and *** occurs in two different modes including filmwise (FWC) and dropwise (DWC) *** occurring on hydrophobic and superhydrophobic surfaces has a much higher heat transfer capacity than ***,wide investigations have been done to produce DWC in recent *** surfaces have micro/nano structures with low surface *** this study,a two-step electrodeposition process is used to produce micro/nano structures on copper *** surface energy of specimens is reduced by a self-assembled monolayer using ethanol and 1-octadecanethiol *** results show that there is an optimum condition for electrodeposition *** example,a surface prepared by 2000 s step time has 5 times greater heat transfer than FWC while a surface with 4000 s step time has nearly the same heat transfer as *** surfaces of the fabricated specimens are examined using XRD and SEM *** SEM analyses of the surfaces show that there are some micro-structures on the surfaces and the surface porosities are reduced by increasing the second step electrodeposition time.

水系锌离子电池因其成本低、安全性高成为了近年来的研究热点,然而循环过程中的枝晶生长和界面腐蚀等问题严重限制了此类电池的实际应用。本文利用超薄蛭石纳米片(Vermiculite sheets,VS)在锌金属负极表面制备了具有核壳结构的多功能离子整流器(Ionrectifier,IRT)人工界面层.其中,疏水性聚偏二氟乙烯(PVDF)外壳能够将H_(2)O从锌负极表面驱离,赋予其优异的抗腐蚀效率(94.8%);VS内核的天然负电层间能够促进Zn^(2+)的迁移动力学(t_(+)=0.79)和密实沉积.结果表明,锌负极的电化学稳定性和沉积一致性大大提高,即使在高电流密度(3mA cm^(-2))下,IRT保护下的锌负极仍能稳定工作1600小时以上,并获得2400mAh cm^(-2)的累积放电容量.同时,利用该人工界面层组装的Zn//NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10)软包电池在1Ag^(-1)下循环150圈后的容量保持率高达94.3%.这种低成本、高效率的负极界面改性策略为水系电池的商业化提供了可能。

This study investigated the effects of recycled poultry bedding(RPB) on performance and protozoa population, microbial enzyme activity and microbial protein synthesis(MPS) in rumen contents of fattening lambs. Thirty-six male Moghani lambs(31.4 ± 3.2 kg body weight) were fed iso-energetic and iso-nitrogenous diets containing 0, 70,140 or 210 g/kg dry matter(DM) RPB in a balanced randomized design(9 lambs per treatment). Results showed that final body weight, DM intake, average daily gain and feed conversion ratio were unchanged(P > 0.05) by RPB inclusion. Total protozoa population and subfamily of Entoniniinae and Diplodiniiae were linearly decreased by RPB(L, P 0.05) by feeding the experimental diets. Inclusion of RPB in the diet linearly decreased extra cellular and total a-amylase activity(L, P 0.05). The extra cellular activity of proteases tended to increase(L, P=0.07) and their total and cellular activity increased(P > 0.05) in lambs fed RPB. Incorporation of RPB into the diet had no effect(L, P > 0.05) on urinary purine derivative excretion and MPS. In conclusion, inclusion of RPB up to 210 g/kg DM had no negative impact on performance, ruminal fibrolytic enzyme activity and MPS, while it increased rumen protease activity and decreased protozoa population in fattening Moghani lambs.

We present the behaviors of both dynamical and static charge susceptibilities of doped armchair nanotubes using the Green function approach in the context of Holstein-model ***,the effects of magnetization and gap parameter on the the plasmon modes of armchair nanotube are investigated via calculating correlation function of charge density *** phase approximation has been implemented to find the interacting dynamical charge *** electrons in this systems interacts with each other by mediation of dispersionless Holstein *** results show that the increase of gap parameter leads to decreasing intensity of charge collective *** the frequency position of the collective mode tends to higher frequencies due to the gap *** the number of collective excitation mode decreases with chemical potential in the presence of electron-phonon *** the temperature dependence of static charge structure factor of armchair nanotubes is *** effects of the gap parameter,magnetization and electron-phonon interaction on the static structure factor are addressed in details.

The effect of presence of silver nanoparticles in pure N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP)solvent for ethylene gas absorption in an experimental pressure decaying setup has been *** experiments were performed at temperatures of 278.15 K,298.15 K and 328.15 K and different pressures(up to ethylene dew point)as well as different concentrations of silver nanoparticles(0.05 g·L^(-1) and 0.1 g·L^(-1)).The kinetic data of absorption,Henry’s law constants,and heat of absorption were *** of the pure solvent and the nanofluids absorption results revealed that the presence of small amounts of nanoparticles could improve the absorption performance between 1.5%-18%.Finally,the effect of temperature,pressure,and nanoparticle concentration on the equilibrium results were investigated.

Inflammation plays an important role in the development of several *** cytokines,including tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),are associated with the induction of *** inflammation contributes to the progression of cancer through several mechanisms,including increased cytokine production and activation of transcription factors,such as nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB).Zerumbone(ZER),a component of subtropical ginger(Zingiber zerumbet Smith),seems to have anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,and antioxidant *** this study,we aimed to explore the protective function and mechanisms of ZER against TNF-α-induced cancer-promoting *** found that the viability of stimulated human fibroblast cell lines was reduced after treatment with ZER(IC50=18µmol/L),compared to un-stimulated fibroblasts(IC50=40µmol/L).Besides,ZER inhibited mRNA expression and protein secretion of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β),interleukin-33(IL-33),monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),and stromal cell-derived factor 1(SDF-1),which were produced by TNF-α-induced fibroblasts,as measured by quantitative real time-PCR(qRT-PCR)and ELISA *** mRNA expression levels of TGF-β,IL-33,SDF-1,and MCP-1 showed 8,5,2.5,and 4-fold reductions,***,secretion of TGF-β,IL-33,SDF-1,and MCP-1 was reduced to 3.65±0.34 ng/mL,6.3±0.26,1703.6±295.2,and 5.02±0.18 pg/mL,respectively,compared to the untreated *** addition,the conditioned media(CM)of TNF-α-stimulated fibroblasts increased the NF-κB expression in colorectal cancer cell lines(HCT-116 and Sw48),while in the vicinity of ZER,the expression of NF-κB was *** the significant effects of ZER,this component can be used as an appropriate alternative herbal treatment for cancer-related chronic inflammation.

This work investigates the problem of controller design for the inverters in an islanded ***-synthesis controllers and local droop controllers are designed to regulate the output voltages of inverters and share power among them,*** designed controllers alleviate the need for additional sensors to measure the states of the system by relying only on output *** is shown that the designed-synthesis controller properly damps resonant oscillations,and its performance is robust to the control-loop time delay and parameter *** stability of a droop-controlled islanded microgrid including multiple distributed generation(DG)units is analyzed by linearizing the nonlinear power flow model around the nominal operating point and applying theorems from linear *** is indicated that the droop controller stabilizes the microgrid system with dominantly inductive tie-line impedances for all values of resistive-inductive loads,while for the case of resistive-capacitive loads the stability is conditioned on an upper bound on the load *** robust performance of the designed-synthesis controller is studied analytically,compared with the similar analysis in an control(benchmark)framework,and verified by simulations for a four DG benchmark ***,the robustness of the droop controllers is analyzed by Monte Carlo simulations in the presence of local voltage fluctuations and phase differences among neighboring DGs.

We present the behaviors of both dynamical and static charge susceptibilities of undoped armchair graphene nanoribbon using the Green＇s function approach in the context of tight binding model ***,the effects of magnetic field on the the plasmon modes of armchair graphene nanoribbon are investigated via calculating the correlation function of charge density *** results show that the increase of magnetic field makes the high-frequency plasmon mode for both metallic and insulating cases *** also show that low-frequency plasmon mode for metallic nanoribbon appears due to increase of magnetic ***,the number of collective excitation modes increases with ribbon width at zero magnetic ***,the temperature dependence of the static charge structure factor of armchair graphene nanoribbon is *** effects of both magnetic field and ribbon width on the static charge structure factor are discussed in detail.

Mechanochemical sulfidization of a mixed sulfide/oxide copper ore by co-grinding with sulfur and additives including Mg(NO3)2 and Fe(NO3)3 salts and iron,aluminum and magnesium powders was investigated for the first ***,the influence of sulfidization during the wet-milling process was examined on the separation efficiency and recovery of copper in *** results demonstrated that co-grinding with sulfur solely had the best flotation performance at the value of 0.5 wt.%and it was attributed to the possible existence of S\\O bonding on copper oxides *** addition,adding magnesium nitrate salt,magnesium powder,iron nitrate salt and aluminum powder as additive associated with 0.5 wt%sulfur into ball milling caused the flotation improvement at the amounts of 0.2 wt%,0.2 wt%,0.5 wt%and 0.5 wt%,***,the effect of grinding time and sulfidization pH with 0.5 wt%sulfur solely was determined and pH s of 7.5 to 8.5 gave the best *** highest recovery(75.76%)and separation efficiency(63.44%)were achieved at pH of 7.5 and 8.5,respectively.
