Background:Exosome administration is a novel medical approach that promises excellent immunomodulatory properties without the conventional side effects of current antitumor necrosis factor drugs and *** study aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of usingmesenchymal stemcell(MSC)exosomes to treat refractory fistulas in patients with inflammatory bowel ***:MSCs were derived from the umbilical cords and their exosomes were *** patients with refractory perianal Crohn’s disease fistulas with amedian age of 35 years(range 31–47 years)were enrolled in the *** injections were administered in the operating roomto patients with refractory fistula(fistulas that are irresponsive to anti-tumor necrosis factor-αadministration within 6months).Sixmonths later,a physical examination,face-to-face interviews,andmagnetic resonance imaging were employed to evaluate the therapy responses of ***:The outcomes within 6 months after initiation of therapy showed that four patients had responded to *** patients who received exosome injections exhibited complete healing,while one reported no improvement and active discharge from the fistula *** addition,five patients(100%)reported neither systemic nor local adverse ***:Injection of exosomes extracted from MSCs demonstrates safety and a satisfactory therapeutic effect,as evidenced in this and other studies,and may play a significant role in the future treatment of gastrointestinal fistulas.

The first photometric light curve investigation of the NSVS 8294044,V1023 Her,and V1397 Her binary systems is *** used ground-based observations for the NSVS 8294044 system and Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite data for V1023 Her and V1397 *** primary and secondary times of minima were extracted from al the data,and,by collecting the literature,a new ephemeris was computed for each *** fits for the O-C diagrams were conducted using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) *** curve solutions were performed using the PHysics Of Eclipsing BinariEs Python code and the MCMC *** systems were found to be contact binary stars based on the fillout factor and mass ratio.V1023 Her showed the O’Connell effect and a cold starspot on the secondary component was required for the light curve *** absolute parameters of the system were estimated based on an empirical relationship between orbital period and *** presented a new T–M equation based on a sample of 428 contact binary systems and found that our three target systems were in good agreement with the *** positions of the systems were also depicted on the M–L,M–R,q–L_(ratio),and M_(tot)–J_(0)diagrams in the logarithmic scales.

Theoretical insights into the degradation mechanisms, kinetics and eco-toxicity of oxcarbazepine initiated by OH radicals in aqueous environments

As an anticonvulsant,oxcarbazepine(OXC)has attracted considerable attention for its potential threat to aquatic *** functional theory has been used to study the mechanisms and kinetics of OXC degradation initiated by OH radicals in aqueous environment.A total of fourteen OH-addition pathways were investigated,and the addition to the C8 position of the right benzene ringwas themost vulnerable pathway,resulting in the intermediate *** H-abstraction reactions initiated by OH radicalswere also explored,where the extraction site of the methylene group(C14)on the seven-member carbon heterocyclic ring was found to be the optimal *** calculations show that the total rate constant of OXC with OH radicals is 9.47×10^(9)(mol/L)^(−1)sec^(−1),and the half-life time is 7.32 s at 298 K with the[·OH]of 10^(−11) mol/***,the branch ratio values revealed that OH-addition(89.58%)shows more advantageous than H-abstraction(10.42%).To further understand the potential eco-toxicity of OXC and its transformation products to aquatic organisms,acute toxicity and chronic toxicity were evaluated using ECOSAR *** toxicity assessment revealed that most degradation products such as OXC-2OH,OXC-4OH,OXC-1O-1OOH,and OXC-1OH’are innoxious to fish and ***,green algae are more sensitive to these *** study can provide an extensive investigation into the degradation of OXC by OH radicals and enrich the understanding of the aquatic oxidation processes of pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs).

Three-body Faddeev calculations for _(ΛΛ)^(6)He and _(ΩΩ)^(6)He hypernuclei

We study the ground-state properties of the _(YY)^(6)He double hyperon for _(ΛΛ)^(6)He and _(ΩΩ)^(6)He nuclei in a threebody model(Y+Y+α).We solve two coupled Faddeev equations corresponding to the three-body configurations(αY,Y)and(YY,α)in configuration space with the hyperspherical harmonics expansion method by employing the most recent hyperon-hyperon interactions obtained from lattice QCD *** numerical analysis for _(ΛΛ)^(6)He,using threeΛΛlattice interaction models,leads to a ground state binding energy in the(-7.468,-7.804)MeV domain and the separations and in the domains of(3.555,3.629)fm and(2.867,2.902)fm,*** binding energy of the double-Ω hypenucleus _(ΩΩ)^(6)He leads to -67.21 MeV and consequently to smaller separations =1.521 fm and =1.293 *** addition to geometrical properties,we study the structure of ground-state wave functions and show that the main contributions are from the s-wave *** results are consistent with the existing theoretical and experimental data.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is a common medical condition worldwide and its prevalence has increased notably in the past few years due to the increases in prevalence of obesity and metabolic syndrome. However, diagnosis of this disease is still a matter of debate because of disease variations and pathophysiologic alterations. Specific single markers have gained con-siderable attention recently, among them markers related to hepatic pathophysiology, inflammation, adipocytokines and so forth. But, it seems that no single marker is sufficient for diagnosis and staging of the disease, and applying a panel including different types of tests may be more useful.

Eremurus species,better known as‘Foxtail Lily’or‘Desert Candle’,are important worldwide in landscaping and the cutflower *** of the centers of highest diversity of the genus Eremurus is Iran,which has seven ***,little is known about the genetic diversity within the genus *** the advent of genotyping-bysequencing(GBS),it is possible to develop and employ single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers in a costefficient manner in any species,regardless of its ploidy level,genome size or availability of a reference *** structure and phylogeographic analyses of the genus Eremurus in Iran using a minimum of 3002 SNP markers identified either at the genus level or at the species level from GBS data showed longitudinal geographic structuring at the country scale for the genus and for the species *** and ***,and at the regional scale for *** analyses furthermore showed a close genetic relatedness between *** and *** to the extent that they should be considered subspecies within an ***/stenophyllus species *** close genetic relatedness may explain why crosses between these two(sub)species have been found in the wild and are exploited extensively as ***,current species identification,while robust,relies on flower morphology.A subset of seven SNPs with species-specific(private)alleles were selected that differentiate the seven Eremurus *** markers will be especially useful for cultivar protection and in hybrid production,where true hybrids could be identified at the seedling stage.

In their roles as senior managers,Chief Information Officers（CIOs） are often responsible for the initiation and implementation of information systems（ISs） that are vital to the success,and even survival of the *** so doing,CIOs must exercise influence successfully in order to attain these *** strategic role of the CIO is becoming ever more complex,requiring an expansion of the organizational and structural possibilities for filling that *** research examines CIO role in Iranian *** this paper,results from a survey of Iranian CIOs are *** CIOs have on average worked in the current organization for eight years,have worked in information technology（IT） for 12 years,report mostly to the financial director,have 11 people reporting to them.A large percentage has at least a master’s ***,formal IS planning tended to be adopted by organizations With higher annual revenue,larger number of total employees,and broader span of control（*** number of people reporting to the CIO）.Higher CIO reporting level was also associated with greater extent of information systems plan implementation.
