Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells preconditioned with isorhamnetin:potential therapy for burn wounds

Superparamgnetic fe_3O_4 and RE:fe_3O_4(RE=Dy,Nd,La)nanoparticles with an average crystallite size in the range of 15–24 nm,were synthesized by co-precipitation *** samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),UV–Vis spectroscopy,LCR bridge,and two-probe technique.X-ray diffraction patterns of all the investigated samples reveal the typical phase of magnetite structure,with a small contribution of orthoferrite(NdfeO_3)as a secondary phase in Nd:fe_3O_4 *** saturation magnetization(M_s)of the samples has values in the range from 41.8 to 52.3 emu/g,and decreases with RE ion doping depending on the ionic *** values of the coercivity H_c and remanenceM_r,indicate the superparamagnetic nature of the investigated *** calculated values of indirect optical band gap of fe_3O_4 and RE:fe_3O_4 nanoparticles are in the range of0.9–1.25 *** dielectric constant of the samples decreases,while their activation energy increases with the increasing of ionic radii of dopants.

Physical health plays an important role in overall well-being of the human *** is the most observed dimension of health among others such as social,intellectual,emotional,spiritual and environmental *** to exponential increase in the development of wireless communication techniques,Internet of Things(IoT)has effectively penetrated different aspects of human *** is one of the dynamic domains with ever-growing demands which can be met by IoT *** can be leveraged through several health service offerings such as remote health and monitoring services,aided living,personalized treatment,and so *** this scenario,Deep Learning(DL)models are employed in proficient disease *** current research work presents a new IoT-based physical health monitoring and management method using optimal Stacked Sparse Denoising Autoencoder(SSDA)technique i.e.,*** proposed model utilizes a set of IoT devices to collect the data from *** class problem poses serious challenges during disease diagnosis ***,the OSSDA model includes Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique(SMOTE)to generate artificial minority class instances to balance the class ***,the hyperparameter settings of the OSSDA model exhibit heavy influence upon the classification performance of SSDA *** number of hidden layers,sparsity,and noise count are determined by Sailfish Optimizer(SfO).In order to validate the effectiveness and performance of the proposed OSSDA technique,a set of experiments was conducted on diabetes and heart disease *** simulation results portrayed a proficient diagnostic outcome from OSSDA technique over other *** proposed method achieved the highest accuracy values i.e.,0.9604 and 0.9548 on the applied heart disease and diabetes datasets respectively.

Nickel phthalocyanine(Ni Pc) film was deposited onto the surface of flexible conductive glass by rubbing-in technology and used to fabricate devices based on ITO/Ni Pc/CNT/rubber structure. The I–V characteristics of the devices were investigated under different uniaxial pressures of 200, 280, and 480 gf/cm^(2), applied perpendicular to the surface of the Ni Pc film. Results showed that the nonlinearity coefficients of the I–V curves are in the range of 2 to 3, which was found to be decreased with the increase of the pressure. The rectification ratio of the devices was estimated to be varied from 1.5 to 3 based on the applied pressure. Concluding, the resistance of the active layers was decreased with the increase of both pressure and voltage. We believe that using the rubbing-in technology under sufficient applied pressure it is possible to utilize Ni Pc for the development of various electronic devices such as diodes, nonlinear resistors, and sensors.

Drought becomes a serious issue in Iraq as upstream countries water policies and climate change consequences. It has negative impacts on different sectors, the environment, biodiversity, economy, and water resources. Long periods of severe drought and no rainfall winter are continuing during the last decades and the trend lines of the drought index gravitate toward unrecorded levels. This research studied the drought by using the standardized precipitation index “SPI” by analyzing the rainfall record since 1980 for the northern prone of Iraq which includes Kurdistan Region Governorates “KRG” (Sulaymaniya, Erbil, and Dohuk), Mosul, and Kirkuk to find out the drought pattern, magnitude, and duration, and mapping the results. This index is a very powerful index that is used worldwide when only rainfall data are available. SPI generator is used for more accuracy and confidence. The results show that all governorate has a vital issue and has a drought magnitude passed the thresholds of M = -1.0, -1.5, -2.0, -2.5, -3.0, and -4.0 which means a deficit in the soil moisture content, surface water, and groundwater. In Sulaymaniyah, the record for SPI3, SPI6, and SPI48 respectively is about -3.4, -3.54, and -2.63;in Erbil -2.73, -4.67, and -2.72;in Dohuk -4.22, -4.34, and -2.25;in Mosul -2.57, -2.16: in Kirkuk -3.39, -3.04, and -3.41. It is clear that all governorates have depletion in groundwater except Mosul which has contentious recharge, and in Erbil, both soil moisture and surface water has no huge deficit due to high rainfall and snowpack in the region. The results concluded that the whole region is subject to drought and under threat of water resources depletion;it needs urgent long-term plans in a sustainable manner to manage and conserve those sources and mitigate the climate change consequences.
