In the present study,the effect of injecting air bubble size on the thermal performance of a vertical counter-current shell and coiled tube heat exchanger is experimentally *** experiments were accomplished in a cylindrical shape heat exchanger with a 50 cm height and 15 cm outer *** coil with 3.939 m equivalent length and 0.6 cm outer diameter was used to carry the hot fluid(water).Four different cold fluid(shell side)flow rates(Q_(s)=2;4;6 and 8 LPM)Þunder laminar flow conditions(316≤re≤1223),constant hot(coil side)flow rate fluid rates(Q_(h)=1 LPM),four different injected air flow rates(Q_(a)=0:5;1;1:5 and 2 LPM),invariant temperature difference(ΔT=20°C),and constant bubble’s number(1400)were *** demonstrate the effect of bubble size,a sparger with orifice diameters of 0.1,0.8,and 1.5 mm was manufactured and used in the *** overall heat transfer coefficient(U),NTU,effectiveness,and pressure loss were *** experimental results clearly showed that the heat exchanger’s thermal efficiency significantly improved with increasing the shell side flow rate and the injected air flow *** maximum improvement in U,NTU,and effectiveness was 153%,153%,and 68%,*** thermal performance of the heat exchanger was shown to be improved with increasing the bubble *** the latter finding agrees with recent CFD published results,more studies need to be confirmed.

Using combined cooling,heat and power systems can be an appropriate substitute for preventing emissions of pollutants and excessive consumption of fossil *** renewable energy in these systems as a source of power generation can be an appropriate substitute for fossil-fuel-based ***,in this paper,cogeneration cooling,heat and power systems based on gas-fired internal combustion engines with a solar-thermal system with evacuated tube collectors have been modelled and thermo-economic analysis has been done to compare fossil-fuel-based *** required rate of heat to supply the hot water is 50 *** the studied system,the internal combustion engine produces electrical ***,the solar-thermal system with evacuated tube collectors and the gas-burning generator provide the thermal energy required by the studied building and the primary stimulus of the absorption chiller for *** this study,two different scenarios are conducted in states considering simultaneous production systems and regardless of this environmental and thermo-economic analysis *** results showed that the efficiency of the studied system was 60% in summer and 56% in winter.

Due to the short distance between the sources of production and consumption,microgrids(MGs)have received considerable attention because these systems involve fewer losses and waste less *** another advantage of MGs is that renewable energy sources can be widely used because these resources are not fully available and can provide a part of the required *** purpose of this research is to model the MG considering the production sources of microturbines,gas turbines and internal combustion *** energies such as wind turbines(WTs)and photovoltaic(PV)cells have been used to provide part of the required power and,because of the lack of access to renewable energy sources at all times,energy reserves such as batteries and fuel cells(FCs)have been *** power of the microturbine,gas turbine,internal combustion engine,FC and battery in this system is 162,150,90,100 and 225 kW,*** modelling the studied system,optimization was done using the imperialist competitive algorithm to minimize production costs and provide maximum thermal and electrical *** maximum production power for PVs is equal to 0.6860 MWh and at this time this value for WTs is equal to 0.3812 MWh,in which case the excess electricity produced will be sold to the grid.

Ceramics in general and particularly alumina （Al2O3） are important materials in various industries, but the main problem with these materials is related to some of their mechanical properties including low resistance against mechanical shock （hardness-toughness）, which makes them to be so brittle, and possession of high degree of porosity which reduces their strength and gives them fragile characteristics. researchers report indicates that the presence of the second phase with suitable properties can improve some of the mechanical properties of these materials and optimize their characteristic. Carbon nanotubes with unique physical characteristics such as large aspect ratio, high strength and Young＇s modulus and improved thermal properties could be suitable candidates for this purpose. In this study, the growth of multi wall carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs） on the alumina support as the matrix of the composite has been carried out, using catalytic chemical vapor deposition （CCVD） method in which the iron nanoparticles has been selected as catalyst materials. Ethylene gas is used as feed materials for carbon source and argon as the carrier gas. In order to achieve a more comprehensive results, we have investigated the effects of some fabricating parameters like catalyst particle size, its weight percentage related to support material, alumina and to the some synthesizing temperature gases flow rate. Fabricated ceramics composites samples structures were analyzed using SEM images as well as raman scattering spectra and X-ray diffraction pattern.

The assessment of radiological hazard due to external and internal indoor exposure was investigated for 26 raw granites collected from different granite quarries in ranyah (KSA). The activity concentrations of 226ra, 232Th and 40K were measured by high-resolution gamma spectrometry. Four granites were classified as “anomalous” due to their relatively high radioactivity. The averages and ranges of their activity concentrations were 667 (305 - 1120), 320 (161 - 491) and 586 (282 - 893) Bq·kg-1, respectively. The corresponding ones for all remaining 22 granites were 45 (18 - 77), 39 (16 - 73) and 1178 (954 - 1531) Bq·kg-1, respectively. In accordance with new European Basic Safety Standards (BSS) directives requiring a uniform reference level for indoor external exposure to gamma rays of 1 mSv·y-1, all 22 granites may be used as bulk or ornamental building materials without any restrictions. Three anomalous granites should be subjected to control to be used as bulk materials. One anomalous granite was categorized as hazardous having an activity concentration index higher than 6. All four anomalous granites exceeded the level of newly adopted reference level of 300 Bq·m-3 for radon indoor exposure in case of poor ventilation. Two of them exceeded even for adequate ventilation. ·

We introduce a new integral scheme namely improved Kudryashov method for solving any nonlinear fractional differential ***,we apply the approach to the nonlinear space-time fractional model leading the wave to spread in electrical transmission lines(s-tfETL),the time fractional complex Schrödinger(tfcS),and the space-time M-fractional Schrödinger-Hirota(s-tM-fsh)models to verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** implementing of the introduced new technique based on the models provides us with periodic envelope,exponentially changeable soliton envelope,rational rogue wave,periodic rogue wave,combo periodic-soliton,and combo rational-soliton solutions,which are much interesting phenomena in nonlinear *** the results disclose that the proposed technique is very effective and straight-forward,and such solutions of the models are much more fruitful than those from the generalized Kudryashov and the modified Kudryashov methods.

Percutaneous Mitral Valvotomy in Children and Adolescents: Immediate and Midterm results

The article presents a comprehensive and hypothetical framework on the three major dimensions that are namely intercultural competence (IC), personal interaction (PI), which is one of the important variables for perceived service quality (PSQ) and consumer satisfaction (CS) of major retail outletsin Malaysia. The theory based path model of constructs and their possible interrelationships will be proposed such that the future analysis would be based on structural equation modelling approach. In other words, this study intends to propose an appropriate technique to empirically examine the inter relationships of latent IC;PI, and CS through a new propose theory-based Intercultural Satisfaction model. It is basically a literature reviews on the related constructs and how the relationships assessment of those constructs should be carried out. Based on the proposed framework, a number of propositions were developed to facilitate conceptual research on intercultural competences in the selected retail outlets. Although numerous researchers have studied the extensive topic of perceived service quality and consumer satisfaction, none of those studies explored on the critical role of intercultural competence and incorporated the construct in their perceived service quality and consumer satisfaction model.

Objective: To analyze immediate and midterm results of percutaneous mitral valvotomy (PMV) in patients ≤ 18 year, a single centre experience of Sohag university hospital. Methods: Between May 2010 and May 2012, 64 procedures of Inoue technique mitral valvotomy were performed on 64 patients. The mean age was 15.8 ± 2.2 years;75% were females. results: Success was obtained in 96.8% of patients. Immediate complications were severe mitral regurgitation (3.1%), cardiac tamponade (1.6%) and embolic stroke in (1.6%). Late follow-up was obtained in 93.7% of the patients (at 6 and 24 months). restenosis developed in 3 patients. Most of the patients had no symptoms at discharge but most of them had NYHA class I to II at 6 months to 2 years follow up. No patients died. Patients who operated early with MVA around 1.4 had best outcome. Conclusion: PMV represents a safe therapeutic option in young patients with mitral valve stenosis. In these patients, recurrence of symptoms and restenosis occurs at an earlier stage than in elderly. Earlier intervention carries better outcome and decreases restenosis rate.
