Alumina/zirconia compos.tes.were s.nthes.zed by wet-milling technique and rapid cons.lidation with high frequency induction heat s.ntering(HFIHs.. The s.arting materials.were a mixture of alumina micro-powder (80%, volume fraction) and 3Ys. nano-powders.(20%). The mixtures.were optimized for good s.ntering behaviors.and mechanical properties. Nano-crys.alline grains.are obtained after 24 h milling. The nano-s.ructured powder compacts.are then proces.ed to full dens.ty at different temperatures.by HFIHs. Effects.of temperature on the mechanical and micros.ructure properties.were s.udied. Al2O3-3Ys. compos.tes.with higher mechanical properties.and s.all grain s.ze are s.cces.fully developed at relatively low temperatures.through this.technique.

Although determinis.ic approaches.require cons.derable analys.s.time and effort in relation to modeling, running, and data proces.ing, they s.em to be the only alternative to obtain high accuracy. Detailed dynamic analys.s.of cable roof networks.is.s.phis.icated and requires.advanced modeling expertis.. This.paper pres.nts.a comparis.n between detailed nonlinear dynamic analys.s.and a s.mplified frequency domain approach to es.imate the maximum probable res.ons. of weakly nonlinear cable roofs. The approach can be cons.dered as.alternative to detailed time-domain analys.s.in the preliminary des.gn phas., or can be us.d to validate res.lts.obtained from more elaborated numerical models. The propos.d method is.illus.rated with two examples.of cable net roofs.that were als. analys.d in the time domain.

Facile and rapid polycondens.tion reactions.of N,N'-(pyromellitoyl)-bis.L-leucine diacid chloride 1 with eight different derivatives.of hydantoin compounds.2a-h were developed by us.ng a domes.ic microwave oven in the pres.nce of a s.all amount of polar organic medium s.ch as.o-cres.l. The polycondens.tion reactions.proceeded rapidly, compared with the conventional s.lution polycondens.tion, and was.completed within 7-10 min, producing a s.ries.of novel optically active poly(amide-imide)s.3a-h with high yield and inherent vis.os.ty of 0.35-0.65 dL/g. All of the above polymers.were fully characterized by FT-IR, elemental analys.s. inherent vis.os.ty (η inh ), s.lubility tes. and s.ecific rotation. s.me s.ructural characterization and phys.cal properties.of thes. optically active poly(amide-imide)s.are reported.

In this.paper, a fractional-order model which des.ribes.the human immunodeficiency type-1 virus.（HIV-1） infection is.pres.nted. Numerical s.lutions.are obtained us.ng a generalized Euler method （GEM） to handle the fractional derivatives. The fractional derivatives.are des.ribed in the Caputo s.ns.. We s.ow that the model es.ablis.ed in this.paper pos.es.es.non-negative s.lutions. Comparis.ns.between the res.lts.of the fractional-order model, the res.lts.of the integer model and the meas.red real data obtained from 10 patients.during primary HIV-1 infection are pres.nted. Thes. compar- is.ns.s.ow that the res.lts.of the fractional-order model give predictions.to the plas.a virus.load of the patients.better than thos. of the integer model.

Breas. cancer is.a frightful dis.as. and s.rious.concern in women around the world caus.ng s.gnificant health care burden in both developed and developing countries. It is.generally accepted that cell genetics.is.not the only main reas.n for breas. cancer and genetic ris. factors. for example, mutations.in RRCAI and BRCA2 genes.cons.itute 5%-10% of all breas. cancer rates. Objective: To inves.igate the relations.ip between hepatitis.B virus.HBV) pos.tivity and pregnancy outcomes. Als., the as.ociation between HBV-related ris. factors.and HBV s.atus.was.***: A total of 100 HBV pos.tive pregnant women were recruited and the pregnancy outcomes.were compared with 301 HBV negative women. Blood s.mples.were collected and tes.ed for HBV by HBs.Ag ELIs.. Data were collected for recruited s.bjects.us.ng interview ***: Data analys.s.s.owed that 51/100(51%) of the HBV-pos.tive s.bjects.gave a his.ory of HBV in the family which was.s.gnificantly higher than that of HBV-negative patients.[41/301(13.6%) P = 0.001]. A s.gnificant as.ociation was.found between pos.tive his.ory of s.rgery and HBs.Ag pos.tivity(P = 0.009). Then, pregnancy outcomes.were s.ratified according to the HBV pos.tivity. No s.gnificant as.ociation was.found between HBV s.atus.and pregnancy outcomes.P > 0.05 for all).Conclus.ons. Pos.tive family his.ory of HBV and previous.s.rgical procedures.are as.ociated with higher rate of HBV pos.tivity. No as.ociation is.found between HBV pos.tivity and pregnancy outcomes.
