An air and moisture stable ruthenium（Ⅲ） formate complex[Ru（HCO2）Cl2]n has been synthesized and examined in the epoxidation of substituted styrenes.X-ray crystallographic data of this complex were determined and showed that the formate ligand coordinates to the ruthenium centers in a μ~2-η~2 fashion（syn,syn）.Its asymmetric unit contains one Ru（Ⅲ） ion together with the half of a formate ligand and one chloride anion,which are bridged between the metal centers,forming a 1-D chain coordination *** electron deficient helical coordination polymer was employed in the epoxidation of parafluorostyrene,affording the epoxide product in 92%*** chirality of this coordination polymer is applicable in asymmetric epoxidation reactions.

Zeolite Y modified by cesium and magnesium ions was prepared by ion-exchange and impregnation methods, and its activity in the cyanoethylation of aliphatic and aromatic alcohols and amines was investigated. During the preparation of some samples, the transformation of zeolite Y into a pollu-cite-type phase occurred. This phase exhibited good activity in the cyanoethylation of aliphatic alcohols. The prepared solids modified by the impregnation method were more active than the ion-exchanged solids. The activities of the catalysts, in contrast to other basic solids, were scarcely affected by the presence of air or moisture. A correlation between catalyst basicity and catalytic activity is discussed. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction, volumetric nitrogen adsorption surface area measurement, and CO2 temperature-programmed desorption. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the particles of the modified nanocatalysts were < 40 nm. The reaction of acrylonitrile with linear alcohols in the presence of the catalysts was accelerated by microwave irradiation.

An investigation on the oxidation mechanism of the graphite in the MgO-C refractory materials is helpful to improving both the quality of these materials and to preventing and/or lowering of the adverse effects of the high-temperature oxidation. In this research, the oxidation behavior of the MgO-C refractories containing 5～20 wt% graphite was studied via weight-loss method. Atmospheric air was used for oxidation at temperatures ranging from 900℃ to 1300°C and the experimental data were compared with those obtained from the dimensionless kinetic equations of the shrinking core model, in order to determine the oxidation mechanisms of the refractories. The best fit was achieved with the porous layer diffusion control regime. Oxidation mechanism tends, however, to slightly deviate from pure pore diffusion control to pore diffusion-external gas transfer regime in the samples having more graphite contents (e.g. 20%).

Series of mixed metal oxides were synthesized by gel-combustion method and their catalytic activities for soot oxidation were investigated. The catalysts were M-Ce-Zr （M = Mn, Cu, Fe, K, Ba, Sr）, and χK-20Mn-Ce-Zr （χ= 0, 5, 10, 20）, they were characterized by XRD, SEM, TPR and BET surface area techniques. The results of soot temperature programmed oxidation （TPO） in an O2 oxidizing atmosphere indicate that K-Ce-Zr has the highest catalytic activity for soot oxidation under loose contact condition, due to enhancement of the soot and catalyst contacts. On the other hand, under a tight contact condition, Mn-Ce-Zr and Cu-Ce-Zr nano-composites have high activities for soot oxidation and lower the soot TPO peak temperatures by about 280 and 270℃, respectively, as compared to non-catalytic soot oxidation. Furthermore, the addition of up to 10 wt.% potassium oxides into Mn-Ce-Zr increases its catalytic activity and further reduces the soot TPO peak temperature by about 40℃ under loose contact condition.

A cost-effective, highly useful and eco-friendly procedure for the one-pot synthesis of highly substituted pyrazole derivatives has been developed via the reaction of various aldehydes, malononitrile and phenylhydrazine or 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide in PEG-400 and water at room temperature under ultrasound irradiation. Utilization of green solvents without a catalyst makes this methodology very interesting from economic and environmental perspectives. This method provides several advantages such as operational simplicity, use of accessible and economical starting materials and reduced environmental consequences.

Relationship between pre-pubertal nutrition plane with reproduction performanceand milk quality in Kurdish female kids

Objective:To investigate the reproductive performance and milk quality to nutrition pre-pubertal plane in Kurdish female ***: Forty Kurdish female kids [aged (28.0±6.6) d and weighted (7.56±1.10) kg] were assigned randomly in pre-weaning period to one of two practical diets: low quality diet (LQD) [87 g CP/kg dray matter (DM) and 2.02 Mcal ME/kg DM], and high quality diet (HQD), (148 g CP/kg DM and 2.50 Mcal ME/kg DM). At weaning, from each group, one half of kids was separated randomly and allocated to LQD or HQD. Consequently, in post-weaning period, there were four treatment groups including: LQD pre and post-weaning (L-L), control group and LQD pre-weaning and HQD post-weaning (L-H);HQD pre-weaning and LQD post-weaning (H-L), HQD pre- and post-weanin (H-H). From 30 to 180 d of age, body weight and DM intake were determined every 2 ***:Results showed that the HQD treatment enhanced body weight and DM intake during pre-weaning period, in comparison with the LQD treatment (P<0.01). During post-weaning, kids of H-H treatment had higher DM intake compared with other kid's treatments. Kids fed the HQD treatment had greater withers height compared to kids on the LQD treatment at 90 d of age (P<0.01). Kids in the L-H and H-H groups weighed more and were younger at puberty. In the period of pre-pubertal, diet plan was not significantly affected milk yield and reproductive performance at the first ***:Overall, management strategies that have been used to availability of nutrition could increase growth and feed intake in Kurdish female kids. In addition, these strategic programs should be enhancing economic characteristics at the start of puberty of kid in goat husbandry.
