In this work,a novel compact wideband reconfigurable circularly polarised(CP)dielectric resonator antenna(DRA)is *** L-shaped Dielectric resonator antenna is excited by an inverted question mark shaped *** arrangement of feed-line helps to generate two orthogonal modes inside the DR,which makes the design circularly polarised.A thin micro-strip line placed on the defected ground plane not only helps to generate a wideband response but also assist in the positioning of the two diode *** switches located at the left and right of the micro-strip line helps in performing two switching *** novel compact design offers the reconfigurability between 2.9–3.8 GHz which can be used for different important wireless *** the switching operation I,the achieved impedance bandwidth is 24%while axial ratio bandwidth(ARBW)is 42%.For this switching state,the design has 100%CP ***,the switching operation II achieves 60%impedance bandwidth and 58.88%ARBW with 76.36%CP *** proposed design has a maximum measured gain of 3.4 dBi and 93%radiation *** proposed design is novel in terms of compactness and performance *** prototype is fabricated for the performance analysis which shows that the simulated and measured results are in close agreement.

快速响应、高发光对比度、三维存储和信息无损读取是光致变色材料光存储应用的几个关键因素.具有多光子非线性吸收的飞秒激光直写技术以其加工速度快、加工精度高等独特优势,正成为玻璃三维空间微加工功能单元的有效工具.本工作研究了800 nm飞秒激光照射下稀土离子掺杂透明玻璃的光致变色性质,结果证实在800 nm飞秒激光辐照下玻璃展现了快速光致变色响应.在光致变色玻璃中实现了92%的上转换发光调控.光致变色玻璃可通过热刺激漂白回原色,在800 nm飞秒激光辐照和热处理交替刺激下,光致变色玻璃的透射率和上转换调控表现出良好的重现性.通过800 nm飞秒激光照射,可将数据信息写入透明玻璃内部,实现三维信息存储.结果表明,800 nm飞秒激光辐照诱导的光致变色玻璃是理想的光学数据存储介质.

Flexible pavement longitudinal joint quality evaluation using non-destructive testing

Longitudinal joint construction quality is critical to the life of flexible *** deteriorated longitudinal joints has become a challenge for many highway *** the joint's quality through better compaction during construction can help achieve flexible pavements with longer service lives and less *** quality control(QC)and quality assurance(QA)plans provide limited ***,the risk of missing areas with poor joint compaction is significant.A density profiling system(DPS)is a non-destructive alternative to conventional destructive evaluation *** can provide quick and continuous real-time coverage of the compaction during construction in *** paper presents several case studies comparing various types of longitudinal joints and demonstrating the use of DPS to evaluate the joint's compaction *** paper shows that dielectric measurements can provide valuable insight into the ability of various construction techniques to achieve adequate levels of compaction at the longitudinal *** paper proposes a dielectric-based longitudinal joint quality index(LJQI)to evaluate the relative compaction of the joint during *** also shows that adopting DPS for assessing the compaction of longitudinal joints can minimize the risk of agencies accepting poorly constructed joints,identify locations of poor quality during construction,and achieve better-performing flexible pavements.

Ⅰ. INTRODUCTION In a previous communication, the synthesis of some 2-oxo-3-indolyl derivatives has been reported. Ballantine et al. found that the reaction of ethyl 2-(2-oxo-3-indolylidene)-2-hydroxyacetate with propionic anhydride in the presence of pyridine furnished a red-brown crystalline product which was established as 3,4-dimethyl-2, 5-di-(N-propionyl-2-oxo-3-indolylidene)-2, 5-dihydrofuran. Similarly, treatment of isatin with ammonia furnished isamic acid.

Editing of an effector gene promoter sequence impacts plant-Phytophthora interaction

Pathogen avirulence(Avr) effectors interplay with corresponding plant resistance(R) proteins and activate robust plant immune responses. Although the expression pattern of Avr genes has been tied to their functions for a long time, it is still not clear how Avr gene expression patterns impact plant-microbe interactions. Here, we selected Ps Avr3b, which shows a typical effector gene expression pattern from a soybean root pathogen Phytophthora sojae. To modulate gene expression, we engineered Ps Avr3b promoter sequences by in situ substitution with promoter sequences from Actin(constitutive expression), Ps XEG1(early expression), and Ps NLP1(later expression) using the CRISPR/Cas9. Ps Avr3b driven by different promoters resulted in distinct expression levels across all R the tested infection time points. Importantly, those mutants with low Ps Avr3b expression successfully colonized soybean plants carrying the cognate R gene Rps3b. To dissect the difference in plant responses to the Ps Avr3b expression level, we conducted RNA-sequencing of different infection samples at 24 h postinfection and found soybean immune genes,including a few previously unknown genes that are associated with resistance. Our study highlights that fine-tuning in Avr gene expression impacts the compatibility of plant disease and provides clues to improve crop resistance in disease control management.

疫霉菌(Phytophthora spp.)是一类严重威胁作物生产的植物毁灭性病害。其中最具代表性的是致病疫霉(Phytophthora infestans)和大豆疫霉(Phytophthora sojae)。疫霉菌在侵染植物时会分泌出大量的特异性效应蛋白(effector)。这些蛋白中有一类蛋白的N端具有“精氨酸-任意氨基酸-亮氨酸-精氨酸(RXLR)”保守序列,并且在疫霉菌基因组中含有超过400个编码基因。这些RXLR效应蛋白能抑制植物的免疫系统进而使植物对病原体感病。而植物在协同进化中也进化出编码受体蛋白的抗病基因识别病菌RXLR效应蛋白,从而诱导植物产生抗病反应以阻止疫霉菌进一步危害。Avr3b是大豆疫霉分泌的RXLR效应蛋白,在侵染过程中,Avr3b与大豆中的亲环蛋白GmCYP1互作,并激活其自身的Nudix水解酶活性。大豆菌P6497的Avr3b中的甘氨酸-脯氨酸(GP)基序赋予其作为底物与亲环蛋白GmCYP1的结合,而GP基序中脯氨酸(P132)的取代将导致Avr3b水解酶活性丧失,植物感病性降低。更重要的是突变体Avr3bp132A不会被GmCYP1激活,因此该突变体未被大豆抗病基因Rps3b识别。我们发现大豆疫霉菌株P7076中GP位点的P132天然突变为A132,推测使得GP位点的功能丧失,我们对此处的A132基序进行替换为P132,利用粒子轰击法介导的瞬时基因表达方法在大豆中瞬时表达LUC和Avr3bA132P。通过多化学发光成像系统观察到LUC 阳性斑点显著下降,说明活性细胞数量显著降低,这与我们先前预测由于Avr3bA132P能够被抗病基因Rps3b识别,所以含有Rps3b抗病基因的大豆能被该突变体诱导更多的细胞死亡。研究进一步证实了无毒效应蛋白Avr3b的关键氨基酸位点132,由于是亲环蛋白GmCYP1的底物结合位点,其功能对于Avr3b能否被抗病基因识别至关重要,也解释了田间携带Avr3bP132A的大豆疫酶菌株为什么能适应抗病大豆的原因。马铃薯晚疫病菌分泌大量的RXLR效应蛋白,其中有少部分因为可以诱导植物的抗性,根据基因对基因的理论,推测可能是被马铃薯的抗病基因所识别。马铃薯品种C88是我国西南地区推广较好的品种,具有良好的晚疫病抗性,但是其抗病背景不清楚。本研究以实验室克隆的60个马铃薯晚疫病菌效应因子为检测探针,以烟草和马铃薯品种德西瑞(Desiree)为对照,利用PVX病毒瞬时表达系统,在马铃薯品种C88品种上表达并检测效应因子诱导细胞死亡的表型。研究结果发现检测的60个效应因子中,有3个效应因子(PITG-04085、PITG-06308和PITG-23092)能强烈诱导植物细胞死亡。在本研究中,细胞坏死诱导蛋白NLP1被用作对照。此外,我们还测试了PITG-04085,PITG-06308和PITG-23092对本氏烟草叶和马铃薯品种德西瑞(Desiree)的反应,后面两种植物均未显示细胞死亡反应,证实这些效应因子在C88上诱导的植物反应是特异性的,可能意味着有新型抗病基因在该品种中,为今后抗病基因的挖掘指明了方向。
