One of the most dangerous safety hazard in underground coal mines is roof falls during retreat *** falls may cause life-threatening and non-fatal injuries to miners and impede mining and transportation *** a result,a reliable roof fall prediction model is essential to tackle such *** parameters that substantially impact roof falls are ill-defined and intangible,making this an uncertain and challenging research *** National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health assembled a national database of roof performance from 37 coal mines to explore the factors contributing to roof *** acquired for 37 mines is limited due to several restrictions,which increased the likelihood of *** logic is a technique for coping with ambiguity,incompleteness,and ***,In this paper,the fuzzy inference method is presented,which employs a genetic algorithm to create fuzzy rules based on 109 records of roof fall data and pattern search to refine the membership functions of *** performance of the deployed model is evaluated using statistical measures such as the Root-Mean-Square Error,Mean-Absolute-Error,and coefficient of determination(R_(2)).Based on these criteria,the suggested model outperforms the existing models to precisely predict roof fall rates using fewer fuzzy rules.

背景:前牙拥挤对一个人的微笑、外观以及自尊都会产生较大的不利影响。尽管对于轻中度的前牙拥挤其治疗难度不高,但若能探明诱发牙列拥挤的病因,对其进行早期阻断及时干预,能减少患者正畸治疗的难度,降低治疗后复发的程度,更好地维护患者的口腔健康。在引起牙列拥挤的因素中,下颌阻生第三磨牙(Impacted Mandibular Third Molar,IM3M)与牙列拥挤的关系是最具争议的。下颌第三磨牙是最常见的阻生牙,在世界各地的人群中均有较高的发病率,不同的种族发病率有显著的差异,其中新加坡华人中发病率最高,为68.6%。一般来说,其在下颌发病率高于上颌,女性发病率高于男性。现有文献中对下颌前牙拥挤和第三磨牙之间的相关性一直尚未完全明确,需要更多的样本和数据去证明其相互间的关系。一些研究采用了全景射线照相术(Panoramic Radiograph,OPG.)作为诊断和测量的工具来评估阻生第三磨牙与不同牙弓参数之间的关系。然而,全景射线照相术是一种二维模式,可能产生相邻解剖结构的重叠,导致潜在的数据错误。锥形束计算机断层扫描(Cone Beam Computed Tomography,CBCT)提供了一个快速、可靠和准确的牙齿大小和牙弓尺寸测量的方法。高分辨率的CBCT图像使临床医生能够评估牙槽骨的形状和大小,而不受常规X线摄影的局限性。评估在不同类型错畸形患者中下颌阻生第三磨牙与下颌牙弓在三个空间平面的位置之间的关系,可能有助于成年患者拔除阻生第三磨牙的决策过程。然而目前在文献中仍然缺乏利用CBCT评估阻生第三磨牙与牙弓参数(如前牙拥挤、前牙倾斜、牙弓长度和牙弓宽度)之间关系的研究。在不同骨性错畸形患者中,前牙骨皮质厚度存在着差异,而牙列拥挤对于前牙骨皮质厚度较薄的患者更容易产生骨开窗、骨开裂的风险,在治疗过程中,临床医生应谨慎地调整切牙的位置,以免出现不良后果,这在牙齿的大小和牙弓的可用空间骨量之间存在明显差异的情况下尤其关键,所以分析不同骨性错患者下颌前牙拥挤和前牙唇侧骨质厚度的联系将有助于医生对患者正畸风险早期评估,为临床医生提供重要信息。目的:1-评估骨性I类患者双侧IM3M颊舌向倾斜角度(Buccolingual Angulation,BL°)和近远中向倾斜角度(Mesiodistal Angulation,MD°)与下颌牙弓参数(前牙拥挤度,前后向以及水平向牙弓参数)之间的三维关系。2-评估骨性Ⅰ类和骨性Ⅱ类中国女性的双侧IM3M倾斜角度与下颌前牙拥挤度关系及下颌前牙拥挤度与下颌前牙唇侧骨厚度的关系。第一部分:骨性Ⅰ类错患者下颌阻生第三磨牙的角度与下颌牙弓参数之间的关系材料和方法:本研究是一项回顾性的横断面比较研究,纳入骨性Ⅰ类(头影测量中ANB=2.7°±2.0)的患者。研究样本包括120名在CBCT上有双侧M3M的成人。研究样本被分为研究组和对照组。研究组纳入了 100名双侧IM3M的患者(43名男性和57名女性),而对照组纳入了 20名CBCT上显示双侧M3M正常萌出的患者(8名男性和12名女性)。利用CBCT在水平面、冠状面和矢状面上对M3M的BL°和MD°进行测量。研究样本根据IM3M BL°分为四组:A组24°偏离牙槽骨中心(N=30),D组(N=20)(对照组,双侧M3M正常萌出)。研究样本根据IM3M MD°进一步分为三组;第一组10°-45°,第二组>45°,第三组(对照组,双侧M3M正常萌出,0-10°)。在CBCT上测量每组的牙弓参数,如前牙倾斜度(Anterior Teeth Inclination,AI)、前牙拥挤度(Anterior Dental Crowding,ADC)、牙弓长度(Arch Length,AL)、尖牙间宽度(Inter Canine Width,Inter CW)、前磨牙间宽度(Inter premolar Width,Inter PMW)和磨牙间宽度(Inter Molar Width,Inter MW)然后将这些测量结果与对照组进行比较。最后,对结果进行统计分析,以确定IM3M的颊舌向和近远中向倾斜角度与前牙拥挤度,前后向,水平向牙弓参数之间的关系。结果:1-单因素方差分析显示,不同IM3M BL°分组在前牙倾斜度(P<0.001)、牙弓长度(P<0.01)和第二磨牙间宽度(P<0.001)上存在高度显著的差异性。组间比较结果显示,A、B、C和D组之间的前牙倾斜度有显著差异。与A组相比,C组的倾斜角度增加了7.2°(P<0.001)。此外,D组的倾斜角度比A组增加了5.1°(P<0.05)。同样地,C组与B组相比,前牙的倾斜度增加了3.8°(P<0.05)。然而,B组和D组之间、C组与

Advanced liver cirrhosis has become life-threatening among non-communicable diseases ***,the terminal stage of liver diseases in which the liver develops scarring as a result of various long-term continuous *** liver diseases,viral hepatitis is the major risk factor for chronic cirrhosis *** present paper demonstrates a compartmental model of chronic disease liver cirrhosis describing the transmission dynamics of this *** the Pontryagin’s maximum principle,the optimal control policies such as vaccination for hepatitis B virus and treatment of other causes of cirrhosis are adopted as control *** target of this study is to minimize the number of infected and liver cirrhotic individuals as well as the associated cost of the *** this purpose,the optimal control strategies are employed according to the underlying causes behind this *** goal is to find the strategy of preventing hepatitis B infection which is considered one of the leading causes of cirrhosis and consequently,reduction of the chronic cirrhosis *** analysis is also performed to observe the effective control among the two control *** model is investigated both analytically and numerically and the numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the analytical *** analysis reveals that both the vaccination and treatment could be the most fruitful way to reduce the incidence of chronic liver cirrhosis.

In this work,we aim to introduce some modifications to the Anam-Net deep neural network(DNN)model for segmenting optic cup(OC)and optic disc(OD)in retinal fundus images to estimate the cup-to-disc ratio(CDR).The CDR is a reliable measure for the early diagnosis of *** this study,we developed a lightweight DNN model for OC and OD segmentation in retinal fundus *** DNN model is based on modifications to Anam-Net,incorporating an anamorphic depth embedding *** reduce computational complexity,we employ a fixed filter size for all convolution layers in the encoder and decoder stages as the network *** modification significantly reduces the number of trainable parameters,making the model lightweight and suitable for resource-constrained *** evaluate the performance of the developed model using two publicly available retinal image databases,namely RIM-ONE and *** results demonstrate promising OC segmentation performance across most standard evaluation metrics while achieving analogous results for OD *** used two retinal fundus image databases named RIM-ONE and Drishti-GS that contained 159 images and 101 retinal images,*** OD segmentation using the RIM-ONE we obtain an f1-score(F1),Jaccard coefficient(JC),and overlapping error(OE)of 0.950,0.9219,and 0.0781,***,for OC segmentation using the same databases,we achieve scores of 0.8481(F1),0.7428(JC),and 0.2572(OE).Based on these experimental results and the significantly lower number of trainable parameters,we conclude that the developed model is highly suitable for the early diagnosis of glaucoma by accurately estimating the CDR.

The present work explores the application of La_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.95)Nb_(0.05)O_(3-δ)(LSCNO)perovskite as electrode material for the symmetric solid oxide fuel *** solid oxide fuel cells of thin-film LSCNO electrodes were prepared to study the oxygen reduction reaction at intermediate *** Rietveld refinement of syn-thesized material shows a hexagonal structure with the R-3c space group of the prepared perovskite *** parameter and fractional coordinates were utilized to calculate the oxygen ion diffusion coefficient for molecular dynamic *** 973 K,the oxygen ion diffusion of LSCNO was 1.407×10^(-8)cm^(2)s^(-1) higher by order of one magnitude than that of the La_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.95)Nb_(0.05)O_(3-δ)(7.751×10^(-9)cm^(2)^(-1)).The results suggest that the Nb doping provide the structural stability which improves oxygen anion *** enhanced structural stability was analysed by the thermal expansion coefficient calculated experimentally and from molecular dynamics ***,the density functional theory calculation revealed the role of Nb dopant for oxygen vacancy formation energy at Sr-0 and La-O planes is lower than the undoped *** understand the rate-limiting process for sluggish oxygen diffusion kinetics,80 nm and 40 nm thin films were fabricated using radio frequency magnetron sputtering on gadolinium doped ceria electrolyte *** impedance was observed to increase with an increasing thickness,suggesting the bulk diffusion as a rate-limiting step for oxygen ion *** electrochemical performance was analysed for the thin-flm symmetric solid oxide fuel cell,which achieved a peak power density of 390 mW cm^(-2) at 1.02 V in the presence of H_(2) fuel on the anode side and air on the cathode side.

High-performance anode is hurdle for on-chip planar microsupercapacitor(MSC).Polypyrrole(PPy)is a highly attractive pseudocapacitive material,but its low cycling stability,and low adhesion with current collector hinder its *** we propose one-prong generic strategy to boost the cycling stability of *** our strategy,the electrochemical deposition of multilayered reduced graphene oxide(rGO)on micropatterned Au is utilized,and the resultant rGO@Au pattern is then used for growing highly porous PPy nanostructures by facile electrochemical *** fabricated PPy anode on rGO@Au has quasi rectangular cyclic voltammetry curves up to-0.7 V and exceptional cycling stability,retaining82%of capacitance after 10,000 charge/discharge cycles in 2 M KCl *** outstanding reliability of PPy on rGO@Au is due to the flexibility of rGO,accommodating structural pulverization and providing a promising background for the nucleation of highly porous ***,an all-polymer based asymmetric aqueous MSC(AMSC)is constructed with PPy anode and PEDOT cathode,which exhibited excellent electrochemical performance compared with conventional symmetric MSCs based on conducting *** constructed AMSC delivered a maximum areal capacitance of 15.9 m F cm^-2(99.3 F cm^-3),high specific energy and power densities of 4.3μWh cm^-2(27.03 mWh cm^-3)and 0.36 W cm^-2(0.68 W cm^-3)at 1.4 V,*** enhanced electrochemical performances can be illustrated by nucleation mechanism,in which surface topology of r GO generates a promising background for nucleation and electrochemical growth of nanoporous pseudocapacitive conducting polymers with superior interfacial contact and improved surface area.

In this editorial,we comment on the article published in the recent issue of the World Journal of Stem *** focus on stem cell preconditioning to prevent ferroptosis by modulating the cystathionineγ-lyase/hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)pathway as a novel approach to treat vascular disorders,particularly pulmonary *** stem cells are gaining popularity in regenerative medicine due to their unique ability to survive by resisting the harsh,unfavorable microenvironment of the injured *** also secrete various paracrine factors against apoptosis,necrosis,and ferroptosis to enhance cell ***,a regulated form of cell death characterized by iron accumulation and oxidative stress,has been implicated in various pathologies encompassing dege-nerative disorders to *** lipid peroxidation cascade initiates and sustains ferroptosis,generating many reactive oxygen species that attack and damage multiple cellular *** these intertwined mechanisms provi-des significant insights into developing therapeutic modalities for ferroptosis-related *** editorial primarily discusses stem cell preconditioning in modulating ferroptosis,focusing on the cystathionase gamma/H_(2)S ferroptosis *** presents a significant challenge in mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)-based therapies;hence,the emerging role of H_(2)S/cystathionase gamma/H_(2) S signaling in abrogating ferroptosis provides a novel option for therapeutic *** research into understanding the precise mechanisms of H_(2)S-mediated cytoprotection against ferroptosis is warranted to enhance the thera-peutic potential of MSCs in clinical settings,particularly vascular disorders.
