Comprehensive evaluation and sensitivity analysis of regeneration energy for acid gas removal plant using single and activated-methyl diethanolamine solvents

The absorption of acid gas using reactive amines is among the most widely used types of capturing ***,the absorption process requires intensive energy expenditure majorly in the solvent regeneration *** study simultaneously evaluated the regeneration energy of MDEA and PZ/MDEA solvents in terms of heat of absorption,sensible heat,and vaporization *** Hysys version 8.8 simulation tool is applied to model the full acid gas removal plant for the chemical absorption *** new energy balance technique presents around the absorption and desorption columns to bring a new perspective of energy distribution in the capturing of acid gas *** analysis of regeneration energy and its three contributors is performed at several operation parameters such as absorber and stripper pressures,lean amine circulation rate,solvent concentration,reflux ratio,and CO2 and H2 S *** results show that the heat of absorption of PZ/MDEA system is higher than that for MDEA system for the same operating *** sensible heat is the main contributor in the required regeneration energy of MDEA solvent *** simulation results have been validated against data taken from real plant and *** product specifications of our simulation corroborate with real plant data in an excellent approach;additionally,the profile temperature of the absorber and the stripper columns are in good agreement with *** overall results highlight the direction of the effects of each parameter on the heat of absorption,sensible heat,and vaporization heat.

Process monitoring techniques are of paramount importance in the chemical industry to improve both the product quality and plant *** or incipient irregularities may lead to severe degradation in complex chemical processes,and the conventional process monitoring techniques cannot detect these *** this study to improve the performance of monitoring,an online multiscale fault detection approach is proposed by integrating multiscale principal component analysis(MSPCA) with cumulative sum(CUSUM) and exponentially weighted moving average(EWMA) control *** new Hotelling's T~2 and square prediction error(SPE) based fault detection indices are proposed to detect the incipient irregularities in the process *** performance of the proposed fault detection methods was tested for simulated data obtained from the CSTR system and compared to that of conventional PCA and MSPCA based *** results demonstrate that the proposed EWMA based MSPCA fault detection method was successful in detecting the ***,a comparative study shows that the SPEEWMA monitoring index exhibits a better performance with lower values of missed detections ranging from 0% to 0.80% and false alarms ranging from 0% to 21.20%.

Sensitivity analysis of using diethanolamine instead of methyldiethanolamine solution for GASCO’S Habshan acid gases removal plant

Sweeting natural gas processes are mainly focused on removing carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). The high-energy requirements and opera-tional limitations make amine absorption process sensitive to any change in conditions. This paper presented a steady- state simulation using Hysys to reasonably predict removal amounts of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from natural gas with the diethanolamine (DEA) solvent. The product specifications are taken from the real plant (GASCO5S Habshan) which uses the methyldiethanola-mine (MDEA) solvent, while this simulation uses DEA under the same operation conditions. First, the simulation validation has been checked with the data of the real plant. The results show accurate prediction for CO2 slippage and accepted agreement for H2S content compared with the data of the plant. A parametric analysis has been performed to test all possible parameters that affect the performance of the acid gases removal plant. The effects of operational parameters are examined in terms of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide contents in clean gas and reboiler duty.

Hepatitis C is a contagious blood-borne infection,and it is mostly asymptomatic during the initial ***,it is difficult to diagnose and treat patients in the early stages of *** disease’s progression to its last stages makes diagnosis and treatment more *** this study,an AI system based on machine learning algorithms is presented to help healthcare professionals with an early diagnosis of hepatitis *** dataset used for our Hep-Pred model is based on a literature study,and includes the records of 1385 patients infected with the hepatitis C *** in this dataset received treatment dosages for the hepatitis C virus for about 18 months.A former study divided the disease into four main *** stages have proven helpful for doctors to analyze the liver’s *** traditional way to check the staging is the biopsy,which is a painful and time-consuming *** article aims to provide an effective and efficient approach to predict hepatitis C *** this purpose,the proposed technique uses a fine Gaussian SVM learning algorithm,providing 97.9%accurate results.

【目的】:探讨有效摘取SD大鼠背根神经结(DRG)的方法,为实验取材奠定基础。方法①取材选择为三周SD大鼠,提取DRG神经元。用显微解剖获取足够数量的SD大鼠背根神经结,通过胰蛋白酶+Ⅳ型胶原酶消化②分离:PBS洗涤吸干液体,加入0.2%Ⅳ型胶原酶和0.25%胰蛋白酶放入37℃温箱边消化边用眼科剪剪碎背根神经结重复数次,直到消化液变得粘稠后就可以用滴管吹打,吹打后就可以完全的把背根组织彻底的消化掉,加入含有血清的NBL培养基终止消化,用1000转离心,③原代培养将细胞悬液加入底面铺有L一多聚赖氨酸的培养皿(PP )中,放人37℃、体积分数为0.05的CO培养箱中,让其自然贴壁。定期在倒置相差显微镜下观察。【结果】背根神经结细胞原代贴壁生长较慢,一个月以后才能长满瓶底生长二天后20倍光镜下背根神经结细胞。细胞成簇生长,向四周放射状排列,细胞核圆形透亮,细胞形态多边型,向四周伸出较长的触须,其他类型细胞基本上已经死掉而悬浮在培养基里。

Evaluation of Dredging Operations for Tigris River within Baghdad, Iraq

River Tigris divides Baghdad, capital of Iraq, in two parts. The reach of the river within Baghdad is about 60 km long. Many islands and bars are obstructing the flow of the river within Baghdad. To overcome this problem, dredging operations started along most of Tigris River inside Baghdad City to remove many islands and side bars, which reduced the flooding capacity and the efficiency of water intakes. An examination for the dredging plan under process and two proposed additional plans was performed using the Hydrologic Engineering Centers River Analysis System software (HEC-RAS) for a 50 km long river reach to investigate whether they can recover the designed flooding capacity of the river or just improving it. Calibration and verification processes were implemented in the model using observed water levels at Sarai Baghdad gauging station and along the last 15 km of the river reach. Comparisons of computed water levels were conducted with those of previous studies and historical data. Some improvement of flood capacity was achieved based on the recorded data of the last three decades. Cautions about the water intakes should be considered to maintain their function with the expected drop in water level due to dredging operations.

Mechanical behaviour of fiber-reinforced grout in rock bolt reinforcement

Grouted rock bolts subject to axial loading in the field exhibit various failure modes,among which the most predominant one is the bolt-grout interface ***,mechanical characterization of the grout is essential for understanding its performance in ground *** date,few studies have been conducted to characterize the mechanical behaviour of fiber-reinforced grout(FRG)in rock bolt *** we experimentally studied the mechanical behaviour of FRG under uniaxial compression,indirect tension,and direct shear loading *** also conducted a series of pullout tests of rebar bolt encapsulated with different grouts including conventional cementitious grout and *** was developed using 15%silica fume(SF)replacement of cement(by weight)and steel fiber to achieve highstrength and crack-resistance to overcome drawbacks of the conventional *** types of steel fibers including straight and wavy steel fibers were further added to enhance the grout *** effect of fiber shape and fiber volume proportion on the grout mechanical properties were *** experimental results showed that the addition of SF and steel fiber by 1.5%fiber volume proportion could lead to the highest compressive,tensile,and shear strengths of the *** minimum volume of fiber that could improve the mechanical properties of grout was found at 0.5%.The scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis demonstrated that steel fibers act as an excellent bridge to prevent the cracks from propagating at the interfacial region and hence to aid in maintaining the integrity of the cementitious *** laboratory pullout tests further confirmed that FRG could prevent the cylindrical grout annulus from radial crack and hence improve the rebar’s load carrying ***,FRG has a potential to be utilized in civil and mining applications where high-strength and crack-resistance support is required.

Comparative assessment of clinical profile and outcomes after primary percutaneous coronary intervention in young patients with single vs multivessel disease

BACKGROUND Even though percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)improved the survival of patients with acute myocardial infarction,still multivessel coronary artery disease remains an important factor burdening prognosis and it is being associated with a worse prognosis compared to single-vessel disease(SVD).AIM To compare the clinical profile and outcomes after the primary PCI in young patients with SVD vs multivessel disease(MVD).METHODS The retrospective cohort of patients were divided into two groups:SVD and MVD *** study population consisted of both male and female young(≤45 years)patients presented with ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease,Karachi,Pakistan and undergone primary PCI from 1 st July 2017 to 31 st March *** and postprocedure management of the patients was as per the guidelines and institutional *** A total of 571 patients with STEMI,≤45 years were stratified into two groups by the number of vessels involved,342(59.9%)with SVD and 229(40.1%)with *** average age of these patients was 39.04±4.86 years.A lower prevalence of hypertension and diabetes was observed in SVD as compare to MVD group(25.1%vs 38%,P<0.01;11.7%vs 27.5%,P<0.001)***,smoking was more prevalent among the SVD group as compare to MVD group(36.3%vs 28.4%,P=0.05).The high-C Lesion was observed in a significantly higher number of younger patients with MVD as compared to SVD group(48.8%vs 39.2%,P=0.021).Post-procedure thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grade was found to be not associated with the number of diseased vessels with a P value of 0.426 and thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grade III was observed in 98%vs 96.5%of the patients is SVD vs MVD *** The MVD comprised of around 40%of the young patients presented with ***,this study shows that diabetes and hypertension have a certain role in the pathogenesis of multivessel diseases,therefore,preventive

Modern Mobile Malware Detection Framework Using Machine Learning and Random Forest Algorithm

With the high level of proliferation of connected mobile devices,the risk of intrusion becomes *** Intelligence(AI)and Machine Learning(ML)algorithms started to feature in protection software and showed effective *** algorithms are nonetheless hindered by the lack of rich datasets and compounded by the appearance of new categories of malware such that the race between attackers’malware,especially with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence tools and protection solutions makes these systems and frameworks lose effectiveness *** this article,we present a framework for mobile malware detection based on a new dataset containing new categories of mobile *** focus on categories of malware that were not tested before by Machine Learning algorithms proven effective in malware *** carefully select an optimal number of features,do necessary preprocessing,and then apply Machine Learning algorithms to discover malicious code *** our experiments,we have found that the Random Forest algorithm is the best-performing algorithm with such mobile malware with detection rates of around 99%.We compared our results from this work and found that they are aligned well with our previous *** also compared our work with State-of-the-Art works of others and found that the results are very close and competitive.
