This study was designed to establish a strategy for the extraction,purification,and structure analysis of chondroitin sulfate(cs)in milligram *** acidic polysaccharides were extracted from six kinds of marine animals by enzymatic hydrolysis and hexadecylpyridinium chloride precipitation and purified by Q Sepharose Fast Flow strong anion exchange *** purification of each crude polysaccharide was completed within 1 *** structure of the polysaccharides,*** chemical characterization,functional group,molecular weight and monosaccharide composition,were analyzed by colorimetry,nuclear magnetic resonace and high-performance liquid chromatogrpahy,*** polysaccharides were identified as *** oligosaccharide profile produced by enzyme hydrolysis of polysaccharides was determined by strong anion-exchange high-performance liquid *** method can be widely applied to the extraction and characterization of chondroitin sulfate from unknown raw materials,screening high-quality sources of functional polysaccharides,and laying a good foundation for thefollowing studyof the structure-function relationshipof polysaccharides.

Background and objectives:High-pressure processing(HPP)is a promising assistive method to extract pectic polysaccharides with high rhamnogalacturonan I(RG-I)domain and berries are sources of such pectic *** study extracts pectic polysaccharides from goji berry,raspberry,and cranberry,examines how HPP influences the pectic polysaccharide structure of three berries,and provides a basis for the extraction and modification of pectic polysaccharides with specific structure and *** and methods:An orthogonal test was performed to optimize the HPP-assisted alkali method to extract the high yield and high RG-I content pectic polysaccharides from three *** information of pectic polysaccharides extracted by the HPP method and conventional methods were compared from the perspectives of monosaccharide composition,molecular weight,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,***:For raspberry,the optimal conditions consisted of a pressure of 50o MPa,a pH of 13,and a pressure-holding time of 12 min,while the optimal conditions for goji berry and cranberry were both 40o MPa,pH 13,and 15 *** the optimal conditions,the yields for goji berry,raspberry,and cranberry were 10.49%,16.63%,and 17.52%,respectively,and RG-l contents were 81.85%,83.30%,and 63.22%,*** showed an effect to degrade homogalacturonan backbones and side chains and increase the RG-I content to some ***:HPP-assisted alkali method was revealed to be an efficient method to extract high RG-I content pectic polysaccharides,especially for cranberry,and was a potential method to modify pectic polysaccharide structure in a certain way.

Reducing Occupational Noise Propagated from Centrifugal Fan through Dissipative Silencers:A Field Study

Acoustic performance of dissipative silencer was evaluated to determine the effectiveness of perforated duct porosity and absorbent material density in reducing occupational noise exposure propagated from centrifugal *** charts were applied to predict noise reduction and length of a dissipative *** silencers with various punched duct porosity(14%,30%and 40%)and sound absorbent density(80 Kg/m^(3),120 Kg/m^(3),and 140 Kg/m^(3))were designed and *** to ISO9612 and ISO11820,noise level was measured before and after installing all nine test silencers at fixed workstations around the discharge side of a centrifugal fan in a manufacturing *** average,the noise level at the discharge side of a fan without silencer was measured to be 93.6 dBA,whereas it was significantly mitigated by 67.4 dBA to 70.1 dBA after installing all *** insertion loss for a dissipative silencer with 100 cm length was predicted to be 27.9 dB,which was in agreement with experimental ***,there was no significant differences between insertion loss of silencers,the one with 30%porosity and 120 Kg/m^(3)rock wool density had the highest insertion loss of 26.2 *** silencers noticeably reduced centrifugal fan noise *** sound absorbent density and duct porosity up to a certain limit could probably be effective in noise reduction of dissipative silencers.

Optimization plays an effective role in various disciplines of science and *** problems should either be optimized using the appropriate method(i.e.,minimization or maximization).Optimization algorithms are one of the efficient and effective methods in providing quasioptimal solutions for these type of *** this study,a new algorithm called the Mutated Leader Algorithm(MLA)is *** main idea in the proposed MLA is to update the members of the algorithm population in the search space based on the guidance of a mutated *** addition to information about the best member of the population,themutated leader also contains information about the worst member of the population,as well as other normal members of the *** proposed MLA is mathematically modeled for implementation on optimization problems.A standard set consisting of twenty-three objective functions of different types of unimodal,fixed-dimensional multimodal,and high-dimensional multimodal is used to evaluate the ability of the proposed algorithm in ***,the results obtained from theMLA are compared with eight well-known *** results of optimization of objective functions show that the proposed MLA has a high ability to solve various optimization ***,the analysis and comparison of the performance of the proposed MLA against the eight compared algorithms indicates the superiority of the proposed algorithm and ability to provide more suitable quasi-optimal solutions.

There are many optimization problems in different branches of science that should be solved using an appropriate *** optimization algorithms are one of the most efficient approaches to solve this type of *** this paper,a new optimization algorithm called All Members-Based Optimizer(AMBO)is introduced to solve various optimization *** main idea in designing the proposedAMBOalgorithm is to use more information from the population members of the algorithm instead of just a few specific members(such as best member and worst member)to update the population ***,in AMBO,any member of the population can play a role in updating the population *** theory of AMBO is described and then mathematically modeled for implementation on optimization *** performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated on a set of twenty-three standard objective functions,which belong to three different categories:unimodal,high-dimensional multimodal,and fixed-dimensional multimodal *** order to analyze and compare the optimization results for the mentioned objective functions obtained by AMBO,eight other well-known algorithms have been also *** optimization results demonstrate the ability of AMBO to solve various optimization ***,comparison and analysis of the results show that AMBO is superior andmore competitive than the other mentioned algorithms in providing suitable solution.

In this work,the electronic transport properties of Z-shaped silicene nanoribbon（ZsSiNR） structure are *** calculations are based on the tight-binding model and Green＇s function method in Landauer-Biittiker formalism,in which the electronic density of states（DOS）,transmission probability,and current-voltage characteristics of the system are calculated,*** is shown that the geometry of the ZsSiNR structure can play an important role to control the electron transport through the *** is observed that the intensity of electron localization at the edges of the ZsSiNR decreases with the increase of the spin-orbit interaction（SOI） ***,the semiconductor to metallic transition occurs by increasing the SOI *** present theoretical results may be useful to design silicene-based devices in nanoelectronics.

The importance of the flow patterns through petroleum production wells proved for upstream experts to provide robust production schemes based on the knowledge about flow *** provide accurate flow pattern distribution through production wells,accurate prediction/representation of bottom hole pressure(BHP)for determining pressure drop from bottom to surface play important and vital *** enormous efforts have been made to develop mechanistic approach,most of the mechanistic and conventional models or correlations unable to estimate or represent the BHP with high accuracy and low *** defeat the mentioned hurdle and monitor BHP in vertical multiphase flow through petroleum production wells,inventive intelligent based solution like as least square support vector machine(LSSVM)method was *** evolved first-break approach is examined by applying precise real field data illustrated in open previous *** to the statistical criteria gained from the outcomes obtained from LSSVM approach,the proposed least support vector machine(LSSVM)model has high integrity and ***,very low relative deviation between the model estimations and the relevant actual BHP data is figured out to be less than 6%.The output gained from LSSVM model are closed the BHP while other mechanistic models fails to predict BHP through petroleum production *** solutions of this study explicated that implies of LSSVM in monitoring bottom-hole pressure can indicate more accurate monitoring of the referred target which can lead to robust design with high level of reliability for oil and gas production operation facilities.
