Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)is the most severe epidemic that is prevalent all over the *** quickly and accurately identifying COVID-19 is of great significance to controlling the spread speed of the ***,it is essential to accurately and rapidly identify COVID-19 lesions by analyzing Chest X-ray *** we all know,image segmentation is a critical stage in image processing and *** achieve better image segmentation results,this paper proposes to improve the multi-verse optimizer algorithm using the Rosenbrock method and diffusion mechanism named *** utilizes RDMVO to calculate the maximum Kapur’s entropy for multilevel threshold image *** image segmentation scheme is called *** ran two sets of experiments to test the performance of RDMVO and ***,RDMVO was compared with other excellent peers on IEEE CEC2017 to test the performance of RDMVO on benchmark ***,the image segmentation experiment was carried out using RDMVO-MIS,and some meta-heuristic algorithms were selected as *** test image dataset includes Berkeley images and COVID-19 Chest X-ray *** experimental results verify that RDMVO is highly competitive in benchmark functions and image segmentation experiments compared with other meta-heuristic algorithms.

Spintronics has received a great attention and significant interest within the past decades,and provided considerable and remarked applications in industry and electronic information *** spintronics,the MgO based magnetic tunnel junction(MTJ) is an important research advancement because of its physical properties and excellent performance,such as the high TMR ratio in MgO based *** present an overview of more than a decade development in MgO based *** review contains three main sections.(1) Research of several types of MgO based MTJs,including single-crystal MgO barrier based-MTJs,double barrier MTJs,MgO based MTJs with interlayer,novel electrode material MTJs based on MgO,novel barrier based MTJs,novel barrier MTJs based on MgO,and perpendicular MTJs.(2) Some typical physical effects in MgO based MTJs,which include six observed physical effects in MgO based MTJs,namely spin transfer torque(STT) effect,Coulomb blockade magnetoresistance(CBMR) effect,oscillatory magnetoresistance,quantum-well resonance tunneling effect,electric field assisted magnetization switching effect,and spincaloric effect.(3) In the last section,a brief introduction of some important device applications of MgO based MTJs,such as GMR & TMR read heads and magneto-sensitive sensors,both field and current switching MRAM,spin nano oscillators,and spin logic devices,have been provided.

One of the cleaning methods for agricultural materials is based on aerodynamic *** cleaners are developed on this *** purpose of this study is to predict the parameters such as fan angle,air velocity,and tunnel length,which are used in the design of pneumatic cleaners,through the multivariate adaptive regression splines(MARS)*** parameters have been estimated using the MARS method in order to use pneumatic cleaners under optimum conditions and adapt them to automation *** cleaners have a collection box which was installed at the outlet of the *** different product collection boxes of 400 mm(defined as the first box)and 800 mm(defined as the second box)from the storage outlet section were *** the results obtained,it was observed that the first box R2 was *** looking at the cross validation,it was observed that the results of the first box were more *** this study,MARS equations were used to obtain dependent variables at desired *** these equations,independent variables have been demonstrated to be *** the application results obtained,cleaning efficiency values were obtained in a wide *** cleaning efficiency values reached up to 100%,the loss rate was found to be very *** variables have been made identifiable to reduce the loss *** highest and feasible of these values were determined by MARS as 41°fan angle and 15 m/s air velocity in order to be able to apply at 97%CE and 1%LR determined for the first *** MARS method allows for the use of more dependent and independent *** equations were obtained as a result of statistical *** precise values can be obtained with these *** will contribute to the design of the parameters of the machine manufactured,such as speed,angle,and feeding amount.

A two temperature CO_(2) refrigeration system with economizer is proposed and compared with the traditional dual-temperature CO_(2) refrigeration system based on energy consumption,exergy and economic *** genetic algorithm multi-objective optimization method,taking the COP,exergy loss and total economic cost as the objective functions to find the best design conditions of the two *** Pareto fronts are obtained at different ambient *** for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution decision-making method is adopted to determine the optimum state *** simulation results show that when operating at different ambient temperatures,the introduction of economizer can improve COP,reduce exergy loss and the overall economic cost rate of the two-temperature CO_(2) refrigeration *** addition,economic analyses take the impact of carbon dioxide emission cost and electricity price into *** results indicate that with the increase of CO_(2) emission cost and electricity price,the hourly economic cost of both systems increases,but the hourly economic cost of the two-temperature CO_(2) refrigeration system with economizer system is always lower than that of conventional two-temperature CO_(2) refrigeration system.

Acute lung injury（ali） is a severe inflammatory condition with a high mortality rate, often precipitated by sepsis. The pathophysiology of ali involves complex mechanisms, including inflammation, oxidative stress, and ferroptosis, a novel form of regulated cell death. This study explores the therapeutic potential of andrographolide（AG）, a bioactive compound derived from Andrographis, in mitigating Lipopolysaccharide（LPS）-induced inflammation and ferroptosis. Our research employed in vitro experiments with RAW264.7 macrophage cells and in vivo studies using a murine model of LPS-induced ali. The results indicate that AG significantly suppresses the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibits ferroptosis in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. In vivo, AG treatment markedly reduces lung edema, decreases inflammatory cell infiltration, and mitigates ferroptosis in lung tissues of LPS-induced ali mice. These protective effects are mediated via the modulation of the Toll-like receptor 4（TLR4）/Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1（Keap1）/Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2（Nrf2） signaling pathway. Molecular docking simulations identified the binding sites of AG on the TLR4 protein(Kd value:-33.5 kcal·mol-1), and these interactions were further corroborated by Cellular Thermal Shift Assay（CETSA） and SPR assays. Collectively, our findings demonstrate that AG exerts potent anti-inflammatory and anti-ferroptosis effects in LPS-induced ali by targeting TLR4 and modulating the Keap1/Nrf2 pathway. This study underscores AG's potential as a therapeutic agent for ali and provides new insights into its underlying mechanisms of action.

Metamaterial absorbers show great promise for applications in optical manipulation,photodetection,solar energy harvesting,and *** this work,we present a twisted stacked metamaterial design that serves as a plasmonic perfect absorber with polarization *** effective energy localization,the metamaterial realizes a near-unity absorbance of up to 99.6%for right circularly polarized incidence and 97.2%for left circularly polarized *** a longer wavelength in the visible range,the chiral metamaterial becomes more sensitive to the polarization state of the incident wave,retaining an ultrahigh absorption of light(~94%)for only a given polarization state,that is,light in this polarization state is effectively shielded.A giant circular dichroism signal of up to 7°can be simultaneously *** field and charge distribution simulations further reveal that the ultrahigh performance of the design is attributed to the interplay between cavity coupling,magnetic resonances,and plasmonic *** switchable and tunable chirality,the plasmonic metamaterial presents a nearperfect absorption band with tunable operational *** envision that the high-performance chiral gold metamaterial proposed here can serve as a good candidate for light trapping,chirality sensing,polarized light detection,and polarizationenhanced photocatalysis.

The main aspects that require attention in tunnel design in terms of safety and economy are the precise estimation of probable ground conditions and ground behavior during construction. The variation in rock mass behavior due to tunnel excavation sequence plays an important role during the construction *** purpose of this research is to numerically evaluate the effect of excavation sequence on the ground behavior for the Lowari tunnel project, Pakistan. For the tunnel stability, the ground behavior observed during the actual partial face excavation sequence is compared with the top heading and bench excavation sequence. For this purpose, the intact rock parameters are used along with the characterization of rock mass joints related parameters to provide input for numerical modelling via FLAC 2D. The in-situ stresses for the numerical modelling are obtained using empirical equations. From the comparison of the two excavation sequences, it was observed that the actual excavation sequence used for Lowari tunnel construction utilized more support than the top heading and bench method. However, the actual excavation sequence provided good results in terms of stability.
