This article aims to show that virtual water has historically been an adaptation strategy that enabled some arid regions to develop a prosperous economy without putting pressure on their scarce water *** water is referred to as the total amount of water that is consumed to produce goods and *** an example,in arid central Iran,the deficiency in agricultural revenues was offset by more investment in local industries that enjoyed a perennial capacity to employ more *** revenues of local industries weaned the population from irrigated agriculture,since most of their raw materials and also food stuff were imported from other regions,bringing a remarkable amount of virtual *** virtual water not only sustained the region’s inhabitants,but also set the stage for a powerful polity in the face of a rapid population growth between the 13th and 15th centuries *** resultant surplus products entailed a vast and safe network of roads,provided by both entrepreneurs and ***,it became possible to import more feedstock such as cocoons from water-abundant regions and then export silk textiles with considerable *** article concludes that a similar model of virtual water can remedy the ongoing water crisis in central Iran,where groundwater reserves are overexploited,and many rural and urban centers are teetering on the edge of socio-ecological *** holds an urgent lesson on sustainability for our today’s policy that stubbornly peruses agriculture and other high-water-demand sectors in an arid region whose development has always been dependent on virtual water.

Theory Critique of Kristen swanson’s Theory of Caring

Theory is considered essential for integral assessment, adopting its foundations and concepts is of great utility. The theory provides different templates to help nurses provide care that respects patients and improves outcomes. Through understanding the intersection of nursing, patients, health, and the environment, theories aim to simplify the complicated, ever-evolving relationship that nurses have with their profession. Nursing theory helps distinguish nursing as a separate discipline from medicine and related sciences, and assists nurses in understanding their patients and their needs. The behaviors of healthcare providers affect how patients participate in and experience care situations. In the nursing discipline, the theoretical structures of caring have been established as the core concept of guidance in all nurses’ work. The aim of this paper is to develop a critique of Kristen swanson’s theory of caring—a theory structured around five caring principles (maintaining belief, knowing, being with, doing for, and enabling) by applying it to nursing practice. When applied to nursing practice, each of these five stages stimulates the caregiver’s attitude, which in turn improves the overall patient’s well-being. Implications to nursing practice are mentioned [1] [2].

Concept Analysis: Emergency Department Crowding and Length of stay before and after an Increase in Catchment Area

several notable issues arise from overcrowding in an emergency department (ED) for both patients and staff. Longer wait times, higher ambulance diversion rates, longer stays, higher incidence of medical errors, higher rates of patient mortality, and greater harm to hospitals due to financial losses are some of these problems. Collaboration is crucial in the healthcare industry since it determines the team’s hourly performance in managing patient care. By using Walker and Avant’s (2011) concept analysis method, the author reviewed the literature to better understand ED crowding, to ensure that patients receive safe treatment in a timely manner, and to highlight best practices that can be identified through concept analysis and practice evaluations. In conducting this concept analysis, Walker and Avant’s framework was applied to examine the nature of the findings selected for the advancement of the concept. Everyone working in the ED, from those who determine policy to those on the front lines continually encounter new obstacles, but has little or no time to formulate fresh concepts or reconsider how ED treatment is provided. Overcrowding occurs when the number of patients requiring attention, awaiting transfer, or undergoing diagnosis and treatment exceeds the physical capacity of ED staff. If a clear plan is not in place to increase and improve services in proportion to a growing population, this situation will persist.

The design of evolutionary approaches has a vital role in the recent development of scientific *** tackle highly nonlinear complex problems,nonlinear ordinary differential equations,partial differential equations,stochastic differential equations,and many more may called computational *** rotavirus causes may include severe diarrhea,vomiting,and fever leading to rapid *** the report of the World Health Organization(WHO),approximately 600,000 children die worldwide each year,80 percent of whom live in developing *** million children are hospitalized each *** Asia,up to 45 percent of the children hospitalized for diarrhea may be infected with *** rotavirus model is categorized into five-compartment like susceptible(s),breastfeeding(M),vaccinated(V),infected(I),and recovered children(R).Positivity,boundedness,equilibria,reproduction number,and stability results are part of the qualitative analysis of the *** that,the design of the evolutionary approaches on the model predicts the efficiency,visualization,long-term behavior of the disease,and best results of the rotavirus *** the end,evolutionary computations are an appropriate tool for double-checking the qualitative examination of the model.

Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus： current situation and travel-associated concerns

The emergence of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus （MERs-CoV） in 2012 brought back memories of the occurrence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus （sARs-CoV） in 2002. More than 1500 MERs-CoV cases were recorded in 42 months with a case fatality rate （CFR） of 40%. Meanwhile, 8000 cases of sARs-CoV were confirmed in six months with a CFR of 10%. The clinical presentation of MERs-CoV ranges from mild and non-specific presentation to progressive and severe pneumonia. No predictive signs or symptoms exist to differentiate MERs-CoV from community-acquired pneumonia in hospitalized patients. An apparent heterogeneity was observed in transmission. Most MERs-CoV cases were secondary to large outbreaks in healthcare settings. These cases were secondary to community-acquired cases, which may also cause family outbreaks. Travel-associated MERs infection remains low. However, the virus exhibited a clear tendency to cause large outbreaks outside the Arabian Peninsula as exemplified by the outbreak in the Republic of Korea. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge about MERs-CoV and highlight travel-related issues.

The security of digital images transmitted via the Internet or other public media is of the utmost *** encryption is a method of keeping an image secure while it travels across a non-secure communication medium where it could be intercepted by unauthorized *** study provides an approach to color image encryption that could find practical use in various *** proposed method,which combines four chaotic systems,employs singular value decomposition and a chaotic sequence,making it both secure and *** unified average change intensity,the number of pixels’change rate,information entropy analysis,correlation coefficient analysis,compression friendliness,and security against brute force,statistical analysis and differential attacks are all used to evaluate the algorithm’s *** a thorough investigation of the experimental data,it is concluded that the proposed image encryption approach is secure against a wide range of attacks and provides superior compression friendliness when compared to chaos-based alternatives.

Deep Bimodal Fusion Approach for Apparent Personality Analysis

Personality distinguishes individuals’ patterns of feeling, thinking,and behaving. Predicting personality from small video series is an excitingresearch area in computer vision. The majority of the existing research concludespreliminary results to get immense knowledge from visual and Audio(sound) modality. To overcome the deficiency, we proposed the Deep BimodalFusion (DBF) approach to predict five traits of personality-agreeableness,extraversion, openness, conscientiousness and neuroticism. In the proposedframework, regarding visual modality, the modified convolution neural networks(CNN), more specifically Descriptor Aggregator Model (DAN) areused to attain significant visual modality. The proposed model extracts audiorepresentations for greater efficiency to construct the long short-termmemory(LsTM) for the audio modality. Moreover, employing modality-based neuralnetworks allows this framework to independently determine the traits beforecombining them with weighted fusion to achieve a conclusive prediction of thegiven traits. The proposed approach attains the optimal mean accuracy score,which is 0.9183. It is achieved based on the average of five personality traitsand is thus better than previously proposed frameworks.

This paper introduced an efficient compression technique that uses the compressive sensing(Cs)method to obtain and recover sparse electrocardiography(ECG)*** recovery of the signal can be achieved by using sampling rates lower than the Nyquist frequency.A novel analysis was proposed in this *** apply Cs on ECG signal,the first step is to generate a sparse signal,which can be obtained using Modified Discrete Cosine Transform(MDCT)on the given *** transformation is a promising key for other transformations used in this search domain and can be considered as the main contribution of this paper.A small number of wavelet components can describe the ECG signal as related work to obtain a sparse *** technique for ECGsignal compression,which is a novel area of research,is *** signals are introduced randomly between any successive beats of the ***-BIH database can be represented as the experimental database in this domain of ***-BIH database consists of various ECG signals involving a patient and standard ECG *** can be considered as the simulation tool used in this *** proposed method’s uniqueness was inspired by the compression ratio(CR)and achieved by *** performance measurement of the recovered signal was done by calculating the percentage root mean difference(PRD),mean square error(MsE),and peak signal to noise ratio(PsNR)besides the calculation of ***,the simulation results indicated that this work is one of the most important works in ECG signal compression.

Measure of Multifunctional Agriculture-syrian Experts’ Perception

Multifunctionality, as a feature of agriculture, is subject to different interpretations, depending on the state and context. The core concept of Multifunctionality of Agriculture (MFA) is that the agricultural sector has multiple roles. These roles are not confined to food and fiber production, but also to the provision of several non-market commodities. In this study, we have interviewed 30 syrian experts from different fields of sciences so as to examine their understanding of the concept of multifunctional agriculture and its elements and look closely into the importance of the elements of MFA in syrian agricultural policy context from an expert’s point of view. The results show that wider roles of agriculture are highly acknowledged among the chosen experts but few of them are working on it. In its broadest sense, no undivided acceptance of the concept of multifunctionality has been found. The syrian agriculture policies have elements which support and improve MFA, but it is not clearly recognized as such.
