The main aim of this paper is to obtain the exact and semi-analytical solutions of the nonlinear Klein-Fock-Gordon (KFG)equation which is a model of relativistic electrons arising in the laser thermonuclear fusion with beta derivative. For this purpose, both the modified extended tanh-function (mETF) method and the homotopy analysis method (HAM) are *** applying the mETF the chain rule for beta derivative and complex wave transform are used for obtaining the exact solution. The advantage of this procedure is that discretization or normalization is not required. By applying the mETF, the exact solutions are obtained. Also,by applying the HAM semi-analytical results for the considered equation are acquired. In HAM ? curve gives us a chance to find the suitable value of the ? for the convergence of the solution series. Also, comparative graphical representations are given to show the effectiveness, reliability of the methods. The results show that the m ETF and HAM are reliable and applicable tools for obtaining the solutions of non-linear fractional partial differential equations that involve beta derivative. This study can bring a new perspective for studies on fractional differential equations. On the other hand, it can be said that scientists can apply the considered methods for different mathematical models arising in physics, chemistry, engineering, social sciences and etc. which involves fractional differentiation. Briefly the results may cause a new insight who studies on relativistic electron modelling.

The classical molecular dynamics simulations in canonical NVT ensemble conditions are used to investigate the melting transition in different heating rates of Pt-Ag-Au ternary *** order to obtain the initial configurations used in the molecular dynamics simulations,optimizing the chemical ordering of Pt_(13)AgnAu_(42−n)(n=0-42)ternary nanoalloys was performed using the Basin-Hopping algorithm which would not allow changes in the icosahedron *** Gupta many-body potential was used to model interatomic interactions in both molecular dynamics simulations and optimization *** melting transitions of selected Pt-Ag-Au nanoalloys were explored using caloric curves and Lindemann *** have been two identified types of melting mechanisms,one includes sudden jump behavior in the caloric curve and the other is an isomerization while melting *** temperature range in which the isomerization takes place depends on the heating rate value.

In this study,truncated octahedron(TO)structure is selected for further analysis and we focus on 38-atom Pd-Pt-Ag trimetallic *** best chemical ordering structures of PdnAg32-nPt6 trimetallic nanoalloys are obtained at Gupta *** structures with the lowest energy at Gupta level are then re-optimized by density functional theory(DFT)relaxations and DFT results confirm the Gupta level calculations with small shifts on bond lengths indicating TO structure is favorable for 38-atom of PdnAg32-nPt6 trimetallic *** DFT excess energy analysis shows that Pd8Ag24Pt6 composition has the lowest excess energy value in common with excess energy analysis at Gupta *** Pd8Ag24Pt6 composition,eight Pd atoms are central sites of 8(111)hexagonal facets of TO,24 Ag atoms locate on surface,and 6 Pt atoms locate at the core of the *** is also obtained that all of the compositions except Pd18Ag14Pt6 and Pd20Ag12Pt6 exhibit a octahedral Pt ***,it is observed that there is a clear tendency for Ag atoms to segregate to the surface and also Pt atoms prefer to locate at core due to order parameter(R)variations.

AIM:To investigate the effect of acetyl-L-carnitine(ALCAR)on cell viability,morphological integrity,and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expression in human retinal pigment epithelium(ARPE-19)cells using a hypoxic ***:In the first set of experiments,the optimal CoCl_(2) dose was determined by exposing ARPE-19 cell cultures to different *** evaluate the effect of ALCAR on cell viability,five groups of ARPE-19 cell culture were established that included a control group,a sham group(200μM CoCl_(2)),and groups that received 1,10 and 100 mM doses of ALCAR combined with 200μM CoCl_(2),*** cell viability was measured by MTT *** morphological characteristics of cells were observed by an inverted phase contrast *** levels of VEGF and HIF-1α secretion by ARPE-19 cells were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)***:ARPE-19 cells were exposed to different doses of CoCl_(2) in order to create a hypoxia ***,when exposed to a concentration of 200μM CoCl_(2),a notable decrease in viability to 83% was *** was found to increase the cell viability at 1 mM and 10 mM concentrations,while the highest concentration(100 mM)did not have an added *** cell viability was found to be significantly higher in the groups treated with a concentration of 1 mM and 10 mM ALCAR compared to the Sham group(P=0.041,P=0.019,respectively).The cell viability and morphology remained unaffected by the greatest dose of ALCAR(100 mM).The administration of 10 mM ALCAR demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in the levels of VEGF and HIF-1α compared with the Sham group(P=0.013,P=0.033,respectively).CONCLUSION:The findings from the current study indicate that ALCAR could represent a viable therapeutic option with the potential to open up novel treatment pathways for retinal diseases,particular relevance for age-related macular degeneration(AMD).However,to fully elucidate ALCAR’s application

In this paper, for the first time to our knowledge in the literature, we demonstrate photoluminescence from two-dimensional(2D) vanadium diselenide(VSe_2) nanosheets(NSs). The preparation of these nanostructures is carried out with a combinational method based on nanosecond pulsed laser ablation(PLA) and chemical exfoliation. For this aim, VSe_2 bulk is first ablated into nanoparticles(NPs) inside a water solution. Afterward,NPs are chemically exfoliated into NSs using lithium intercalation via ultrasonic treatment. Although VSe_2 is a semimetal in its bulk form, its nanostructures show photo-responsive behavior, and it turns into a strongly luminescent material when it is separated into NSs. Based on the obtained results, the surface defects induced during the PLA process are the origin of this photoluminescence from NSs. Our findings illustrate that this new material can be a promising semiconductor for photovoltaic and light emitting diode applications.

Relationship between pinguecula formation and exposure to tandoor ovens in a hospital-based study

AIM: To investigate the relationship between pinguecula and the use of tandoor ***: A total of 539 women, ranging in age from20 to 86 y who attended an outpatient clinic were enrolled. All the patients were asked whether they used tandoor ovens. Women exposed to tandoor ovens(n =286) were accepted as participants in the study group and they were compared with participants in the control group(n =253). The age, presence of pinguecula,duration of exposure to tandoor ovens as years and occupations were recorded for all the ***: Mean duration for exposure to tandoor was20.26y(range 1-62y) in the study group. The rate of pinguecula in the study group was 82.2%(235/286), and the rate in the control group was 37.5%(95/253); this difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Pinguecula was seen in 61.2%(330/539) of all the ***: Pinguecula is strongly associated with exposure to tandoor ovens.

Hydatid disease is caused by the larval stage of the genus Echinococcus. Live hydatid cysts can rupture into physiologic channels, free body cavities or adjacent organs. Although hydatid disease can develop anywhere in the human body, the liver is the most frequently involved organ, followed by the lungs. Cysts of the spleen are unusual. There are only five case reports of spontaneous cutaneous fistulization of liver hydatid cysts in the literature. But there isn＇t any report about cutaneous fistula caused by splenic hydatid cyst. We report a first case of spontaneous cutaneous fistula of infected splenic hydatid cyst. A 43-year-old man was admitted to our Emergency Service with abdominal pain and fluid drainage from the abdominal wall. He has been suffering from a reddish swelling on the abdominal wall skin for four months. After a white membrane had been protruded out from his abdominal wall, he was admitted to our Emergency Service. On physical examination, a white membrane was seen to protrude out from the 2 crux I cm skin defect on the left superolateral site of the umblicus. Large, complex, cystic and solid mass of 9.5 cm-diameter was located in the spleen on ultrasonographic examination. At operation, partial cystectomy and drainage was performed. After the operation, he was given a dosage of 10 mg/kg per day of albendazole, divided into three doses. He was discharged on the postoperative 10^th d. It should be kept in mind that splenic hydatid cysts can cause such a rare complication.

Sprouts are ready-to-eat and are recognized worldwide as functional components of the human *** advances in innovative agricultural techniques could enable an increase in the production of healthy *** use of light-emitting diode(LED)in indoor agricultural production could alter the biological feedback loop,increasing the functional beneﬁts of plant foods such as wheat and lentil sprouts and promoting the bioavailability of *** effects of white(W),red(R),and blue(B)light were investigated on the growth parameters and nutritional value of wheat and lentil *** the laboratory,seeds were sown under three different LED treat-ments:white,red,and blue light,while normal incandescent light served as a *** seed germina-tion improved by 18.34%and 12.67%for wheat and 18.34%and 12.67%for lentil sprouts under LED treatments R and B,*** increase in total soluble protein and sugar by 33.4%and 9.23%in wheat and by 31.5%and 5.87%in lentils was observed under the R LED *** C concentrations in wheat and lentils were signiﬁcantly increased by R LED compared to all other *** parameters,including potassium and sodium concentrations,were signiﬁcantly increased under red and blue light compared to the control;white light,on the other hand,signiﬁcantly decreased all these *** to the experimental data,red and blue LED light could be beneﬁcial in the production of functional wheat and lentil sprouts with high nutrient concentrations.

The Gupta many-body potential was used to model interatomic interactions in both molecular dynamics simulations and optimization simulations. The melting transitions of selected Pt–Ag–Au nanoalloys were explored using caloric curves and Lindemann parameters. There have been two identified types of melting mechanisms, one includes sudden jump behavior in the caloric curve and the other is an isomerization while melting transition. The temperature range in which the isomerization takes place depends on the heating rate value.
