Preparedness of community-based organisations in biohazard: reliability and validity of an assessment tool

The purpose of this study was to develop a tool for community-based health organisations(CBHOs)to evaluate the preparedness in biohazards concerning epidemics or *** searched concepts on partnerships of CBHOs with health systems in guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ***,we validated the researcher-made tool by face validity,content validity,exploratory factor analysis(EFA),confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)and criterion *** were collected by sending the tool to 620 CBHOs serving under supervision of Iran’s ministry of *** of health professionals and stakeholders in CBHOs were used to assess face and content *** loads in EFA were based on three-factor structure that verified by *** used SPSS V.18 and Mplus7 software for statistical *** 105 health-based CBHOs *** conducting face validity and calculating content validity ratio and content validity index,we reached 54 items in the field of planning,training and *** conducted construct validity using 105 *** items exchanged between the fields according to factor loads in EFA,and CFA verified the model fit as Comparative Fit Index,Tucker-Lewis index and root mean square error of approximation were 0.921,0918 and 0.052,*** Cronbach’s of the whole tool was *** correlation coefficient confirmed criterion validity as coefficient was ***,training and infrastructure fields are the most important aspects of preparedness in health-based *** the new assessment tool in future studies will show the weaknesses and capabilities of health-based CBHOs in biohazard and clear necessary intervention actions for health authorities.

The intersection of health and disaster risk reduction(DRR) has emerged in recent years as a field of critical *** is recognized as an outcome and a goal of DRR,and the integration of both fields is essential to ensure the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–*** Emergency and Disaster Risk Management(Health-EDRM) has emerged as an umbrella field that encompasses emergency and disaster medicine,DRR,humanitarian response,community health resilience,and health systems *** September 2016,an international group of experts met in Hong Kong to assess the current status and potential of the Health-EDRM research field,a research area that these scholars characterized as underdeveloped and *** challenges identified include research overlap,lack ofstrategic research agenda,absence of consensus regarding terminology,and limited coordination between *** Sendai Framework provides a useful paradigm within which to shape the research field's strategic *** WHO Thematic Platform for Health-EDRM Research Group was established to coordinate activities,promote information-sharing,develop partnerships,and provide technical advice to strengthen the Health-EDRM research *** group will promote the generation of robust and scientific health research to support the meaningful implementation of the Sendai Framework.

Effects of Fillerwire Composition along with Different Pre- and Post-Heat Treatment on Mechanical Properties of AISI 4130 Welded by the GTAW Process

This research intends to find out the optimal mechanical properties of AISI 4130 steel welded by the GTAW process. Six test plates were joined by two types of filler wire with similar chemical composition to the base metal, and with lower carbon content and slightly higher alloy elements content compared to the first one. Test plates then exerted three different pre-heat and post-heat treatments on both groups. The three types of heat treatments were alternatively without pre-heat and post-heat, with pre-heat only, and finally with pre-heat and post-heat. Tensile, side bends and impact tests (for weld zone and HAZ) have been conducted. Results show that using low-carbon filler wire along with pre- and post-heat resulted in outstanding mechanical properties.

Background This study aimed to assess the socioeconomic inequality and determinants of screen time (ST) frequency in Iranian children and adolescents. Methods This nationwide study was conducted as part of a national school-based surveillance program among 36,486 students consisting of 50.79% boys and 74.23% urban inhabitants, aged 6–18 years, living in urban and rural areas of 30 provinces of Iran. Socioeconomic inequality in ST, including the time spent for ST, watching TV and leisure-time work-ing with computer, was assessed across quintiles of SES using concentration index (C) and slope index of inequality (SII). Results Overall, 36,486 students completed the study (response rate 91.25%). Their mean (SD) age was 12.14 (3.36) years. The national estimation of frequency of ST was 31.66% (95% CI 31.16–32.17) with ascending change from 20.80% (95% CI 19.81–21.82) to 36.66% (95% CI 35.47–37.87) from the first to the last quintal of SES. EstimatedC value at national level was positive (0.08), which indicate inequality was in favor of low SES groups. Considering the SII values, at national level [? 0.16 (? 0.39, 0.06)], the absolute difference in ST frequency between the bottom and top of the socioeconomic groups had descending trends. In multivariate logistic regression model, family history of obesity, generalized obesity and age were the main significant determinants of prolonged ST, watching TV, and computer working (P ality in ST frequency was in favor of low SES groups. These findings are useful for health policies, better programming and future complementary analyses.

Geochemistry and Petrogenesis of Intrusive Pluton in North of Golpayegan (Central Part of Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone)

Granitoid pluton in the north of Golpayegan is located in10 kmnorth of Golpayegan at SanandajSirjan zone. Dominant rocks of this region include granite, syenite, and gabbro. Granite type is granular with medium to coarse crystals and its mineralogical composition contains alkali feldspar + quartz + plagioclase + biotite + secondary minerals (opaque + sphene + apatite). Granite rocks have calc-alkaline and?metaluminous to peraluminous nature, relative enrichment of Rb over Sr, and relative enrichment of LILE over HFSE elements. These granites, which are type I, are derived from the melting of metagreywackes and their tectonic setting is of upper continental crust and post-orogenic setting. Gabbroic type is older than other types of the pluton and is granular with medium to fine crystal. Mineralogical composition of these rocks is plagioclase + pyroxene + amphibole + biotite + secondary minerals (opaque). Based on geochemical characteristics of tholeiitic and metaluminous nature, relative enrichment of Ba and Sr elements over Rb, relative enrichment of LILE elements over HFSE, negative anomaly of Nb, Ba, and Ta, and positive anomaly of Pb are observed. Origin of this type is probably from enriched mantle and in-plane tectonic setting.
