Rhizopus oryzae lipase(ROL)was immobilized on the surface of silica coated amino modified CoFe_(2)O_4 nanoparticles and applied for biodiesel *** results indicated more affinity of the ROL toward its substrate upon immobilization,as revealed by a lower Km value for the immobilized ROL compared to its free *** fluorescence spectroscopy indicated a lower intensity for ROL immobilized on CoFe_(2)O_4 ***,immobilized ROL steady state anisotropy measurements presented lower values,which implied assembly of ROL molecules on magnetic nanoparticles upon immobilization as well as their restricted rotation upon covalent *** stability analysis revealed improved activity at higher temperatures for the immobilized enzyme compared to its free ***,Pace analysis to determine protein thermal stability revealed preservation of the protein conformation in the presence of increasing temperatures upon immobilization on ***,ROL immobilized on CoFe_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles exhibited improved efficiency of biodiesel production in agreement with thermal activity ***,the authors suggest application of the lipase molecules immobilized on CoFe_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles for more efficient biodiesel production.

This review article explores phosphatase and tensin homolog(PTEN)’s role in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)through comprehensive expression and methylation examinations,genetic mutation investigation,and prognostic *** the UALCAN informational collection,PTEN expression examination uncovered a critical over-expression in HNSCC cells isolated from normal control samples,proposing its role in HNSCC ***,analysis of PTEN expression across various clinical limits has shown critical up-regulation in different cancer development stages,racial groups,gender,and age classes within the context of HNSCC patients,suggesting its major role in cancer *** expression was validated by utilizing the GEPIA2.0 online tool,which showed PTEN expression was particularly significantly expressed in HNSCC cancer improvement when it appeared differently from normal control ***,examining PTEN validation across different phases of cancer advancement showed dysregulation in each of the four phases with the most raised expression in stage I and the least expression in stage ***,this study investigated the promoter methylation level of PTEN,figuring out a basic relationship between HNSCC samples and normal control *** promoter methylation across various clinical limits uncovered massive variations,with specific methylation patterns seen across malignant growth stages,race groups,gender,and age *** survival and disease-free survival(OS and DFS)utilizing the KM plotter tool showed a critical relationship between PTEN expression levels in HNSCC patients,showing high PTEN expression exhibited good overall survival when showed up distinctively comparable to low PTEN expression *** addition,in disease-free survival(DFS)evaluation HNSCC patients showing low PTEN expression experienced great DFS relative to HNSCC patients with high PTEN ***,to validate PTEN expression against surviv

Garden pea productivity and qualities are hampered in zinc(Zn),boron(B),and molybdenum(Mo)deficient ***,the combination of micronutrients(i.e.,Zn,B,and Mo)and rhizobium is necessary to increase the productivity and quality of garden peas,since this management for garden peas is neglected in ***,the present study was made to assess the effectiveness of rhizobium inoculant singly or in combination with the micronutrients(i.e.,Zn,B,and Mo)on growth,yield,nutrient uptake,and quality of garden *** were:T_(1)=Control,T_(2)=Rhizobium inoculation at 50 g/kg seed,T_(3)=T_(2)+Zn_(3)Mo1,T_(4)=T_(2)+B_(2)Mo1,T_(5)=T_(2)+Zn_(3)B_(2),T_(6)=T_(2)+Zn_(3)B_(2)Mo1 and T_(7)=Zn_(3)B_(2)*** treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design and repeated all treatments in three *** application of 3 kg Zn,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)with inoculation of Rhizobium at 50 g kg^(−1)seed(T_(6))facilitated to increase of 44.8%in the green pod and 29.7%seed yield over *** same treatment contributed to attaining the maximum nodulation(25.3 plant^(−1)),Vitamin C(43.5 mg 100 g^(−1)),protein content(22.2%),and nutrient uptake as well as accumulation in garden *** all treatment combinations,treatment T_(6)was found superior to others based on microbial activities,soil fertility,and *** results of the study found that the application of 3 kg Zn,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)in combination with Rhizobium inoculation(50 g kg^(−1)seed)can improve the yield and quality of garden *** results of the study have the potential for the areas,where there is no use of Rhizobium inoculant or Zn,B,and Mo fertilizer for cultivation of garden pea.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is considered the fifth most prevalent cancer among all types of cancers and has the third most morbidity value. It has the most frequent duplication time and a high recurrence rate. Recently, the most unique technique used is liquid biopsies, which carry many markers;the most prominent is circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA). Varied methods are used to investigate ctDNA, including various forms of polymerase chain reaction(PCR) [emulsion PCR(ePCR), digital PCR(dPCR), and bead, emulsion, amplification, magnetic(BEAMing) PCR]. Hence ctDNA is being recognized as a potential biomarker that permits early cancer detection,treatment monitoring, and predictive data on tumor burden are subjective to therapy or surgery. Numerous ctDNA biomarkers have been investigated based on their alterations such as 1) single nucleotide variations(either insertion or deletion of a nucleotide) markers including TP53, KRAS, and CCND1;2) copy number variations which include markers such as CDK6, EFGR, MYC and BRAF;3) DNA methylation(RASSF1A, SEPT9, KMT2C and CCNA2);4) homozygous mutation includes ctDNA markers as CDKN2A, AXIN1;and 5) gain or loss of function of the genes, particularly for HCC. Various researchers have conducted many studies and gotten fruitful ***, there are some drawbacks to ctDNA namely low quantity, fragment heterogeneity, less stability, limited mutant copies and standards, and differential sensitivity. However, plenty of investigations demonstrate ctDNA's significance as a polyvalent biomarker for cancer and can be viewed as a future diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic agent. This article overviews many conditions in genetic changes linked to the onset and development of HCC, such as dysregulated signaling pathways, somatic mutations, single-nucleotide polymorphisms, and genomic instability. Seed Mediated Growth of Gold Nanoparticles Based on Liquid Arc Discharge

We report studies on the growth of gold nanoparticles by a seed-mediated approach in solution. The synthetic method is adapted from one we published earlier （Ashkarran et al. Appl. Phys. A 2009, 96, 423）. The synthesized gold nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, dynamic light scattering （DLS）, UV-Vis spectroscopy, optical imaging and atomic force microscopy （AFM）. Optical absorption spectroscopy of the prepared samples at 15 A arc current in HAuCI4 solution shows a surface plasmon resonance around 520 nm. It is found that sodium citrate acts as a stabilizer and surface capping agent of the colloidal nanoparticles. The intensity of the plasmonic peak of the prepared gold nanoparticles for 1 minute arc duration gradually increases due to seed mediation for up to 6 hours. The formation time of gold nanoparticles at higher seed concentrations is less than that at lower seed concentrations.

Flow Confinement Effects on the Wake Structure behind a Pitching Airfoil： A Numerical Study Using an Immersed Boundary Method

The flow patterns and wake structures behind a pitching airfoil in an un-bounded domain have been studied extensively. In contrast, the flow phenomena associated with a pitching airfoil near a solid boundary have not been adequately studied or reported. This paper aims at filling this research gap by considering the flow confinement effects on the flow pattern around a pitching airfoil. To achieve this goal, the flow fields around a flapping airfoil in un-bounded, bounded and semi-bounded domains are studied and compared. Numerical simulations are carried out at a fixed Reynolds number, Re = 255, and at a fixed oscillation frequency corresponding to St = 0.22. An accurate immersed boundary method is employed to calculate the unsteady flow fields around the airfoil at various flapping amplitudes. It is argued that two flow mechanisms, here called ＂the interaction effect＂ and ＂the induced reverse flow effect＂ are responsible for the variations of the flow field due to the presence of a nearby solid boundary.

An iterative direct-forcing immersed boundary method is extended and used to solve convection heat transfer *** pressure,momentum source,and heat source at immersed boundary points are calculated simultaneously to achieve the best *** of convection heat transfer problems with both Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions are *** approaches for the implementation of Neumann boundary condition,*** and indirect methods,are introduced and compared in terms of accuracy and computational *** test cases include forced convection on a heated cylinder in an unbounded flow field and mixed convection around a circular body in a lid-driven ***,the proposed method is applied to study the mixed convection around a heated rotating cylinder in a square enclosure with both iso-heat flux and iso-thermal boundary *** results show that the order of accuracy of the indirect method is less than the direct ***,the indirect method takes less computational time both in terms of the implementation of the boundary condition and the post processing time required to compute the heat transfer variables such as the Nusselt *** is concluded that the iterative direct-forcing immersed boundary method is a powerful technique for the solution of convection heat transfer problems with stationary/moving boundaries and various boundary conditions.
