Static Poisson’s ratio(vs)is crucial for determining geomechanical properties in petroleum applications,namely sand *** models have been used to predict vs;however,the published models were limited to specific data ranges with an average absolute percentage relative error(AAPRE)of more than 10%.The published gated recurrent unit(GRU)models do not consider trend analysis to show physical *** this study,we aim to develop a GRU model using trend analysis and three inputs for predicting n s based on a broad range of data,n s(value of 0.1627-0.4492),bulk formation density(RHoB)(0.315-2.994 g/mL),compressional time(DTc)(44.43-186.9 μs/ft),and shear time(DTs)(72.9-341.2μ s/ft).The GRU model was evaluated using different approaches,including statistical error *** GRU model showed the proper trends,and the model data ranges were wider than previous *** GRU model has the largest correlation coefficient(R)of 0.967 and the lowest AAPRE,average percent relative error(APRE),root mean square error(RMSE),and standard deviation(SD)of 3.228%,1.054%,4.389,and 0.013,respectively,compared to other *** GRU model has a high accuracy for the different datasets:training,validation,testing,and the whole datasets with R and AAPRE values were 0.981 and 2.601%,0.966 and 3.274%,0.967 and 3.228%,and 0.977 and 2.861%,*** group error analyses of all inputs show that the GRU model has less than 5% AAPRE for all input ranges,which is superior to other models that have different AAPRE values of more than 10% at various ranges of inputs.

Sensing the heavy water concentration in an H_(2)o-D_(2)o mixture by solid-solid phononic crystals

A new method based on phononic crystals is presented to detect the concentration of heavy water(D_(2)o)in an H_(2)o-D_(2)o *** have been obtained and analyzed in the concentration range of 0%-10%and 90%-100%D_(2)o.A proposed structure of tungsten scatterers in an aluminum host is *** order to detect the target material,a cavity region is considered as a sound wave resonator in which the target material with different concentrations of D_(2)o is *** changing the concentration of D_(2)o in the H_(2)o-D_(2)o mixture,the resonance frequency undergoes a frequency *** 1%change in D_(2)o concentration in the H_(2)o-D_(2)o mixture causes a frequency change of about 120 *** finite element method is used as the numerical method to calculate and analyze the natural frequencies and transmission spectra of the proposed *** performance evaluation index shows a high Q factor up to 1475758 and a high sensitivity up to 13075,which are acceptable values for sensing *** other figures of merit related to the detection performance also indicate high-quality performance of the designed sensor.

AIM: To analyze experiences to identify treatment outcomes and prognostic factors in a Saudi ***: Medical records of patients with brainstem gliomas treated from July 2001 to December 2012 were reviewed to identify treatment outcomes of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy and associated prognostic factors in a Saudi ***: We analyzed 49 brain stem glioma(BSG) patients from July 2001 to December 2012; 31 of them were males(63.3%) with a median age of 12.6 years(range: 8-64 mo). Twenty-two patients(44.9%) had diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas(DIPG) and 15(30.6%) presented with focal/tectal BSG. Histopathology was available in 30 patients(61.2%). Median survival time for the whole cohort was 1.5 years. one and two year oS rates were 51.1% and 41.9% respectively. Two year oS rates for focal/tectal, dorsally exophytic, cervicomedullary and DIPG tumors were 60%, 33.3%, 33.3% and 13.6% respectively(P ognostic factors related to oS were age at diagnosis(worse for > 18 years) P = 0.01, KPS on of symptoms(ology(better for favorable) P = 0.002, surgery(maximal resection) P = 0.002, and concurrent chemotherapy with radiation therapy in DIPG(better if given) P = ***: BSG, especially the DIPG subgroup, had a dismal prognosis, needing more aggressive neurosurgical, radiation and chemotherapy techniques, while focal and tectal tumors were found to have a better prognosis.

Clean production of lactic acid by selective carbon-carbon bond cleavage of biomass feedstock over a novel carbon-bismuth oxychloride photocatalyst
