The Coronavirus Disease(COVID-19)pandemic has exposed the vulnerabilities of medical services across the globe,especially in underdeveloped *** the aftermath of the COVID-19 outbreak,a strong demand exists for developing novel computer-assisted diagnostic tools to execute rapid and cost-effective screenings in locations where many screenings cannot be executed using conventional *** imaging has become a crucial component in the disease diagnosis process,whereas X-rays and Computed Tomography(CT)scan imaging are employed in a deep network to diagnose the *** general,four steps are followed in image-based diagnostics and disease classification processes by making use of the neural networks,such as network training,feature extraction,model performance testing and optimal feature *** current research article devises a Chaotic Flower Pollination Algorithm with a Deep Learning-Driven Fusion(CFPADLDF)approach for detecting and classifying *** presented CFPA-DLDF model is developed by integrating two DL models to recognize COVID-19 in medical ***,the proposed CFPA-DLDF technique employs the Gabor Filtering(GF)approach to pre-process the input *** addition,a weighted voting-based ensemble model is employed for feature extraction,in which both VGG-19 and the MixNet models are ***,the CFPA with Recurrent Neural Network(RNN)model is utilized for classification,showing the work’s novelty.A comparative analysis was conducted to demonstrate the enhanced performance of the proposed CFPADLDF model,and the results established the supremacy of the proposed CFPA-DLDF model over recent approaches.

Internet of Everything(IoE)indicates a fantastic vision of the future,where everything is connected to the internet,providing intelligent services and facilitating decision *** is the collection of static and moving objects able to coordinate and communicate with each *** moving objects may consist of ground segments and ying *** speed of ying segment e.g.,Unmanned Ariel Vehicles(UAVs)may high as compared to ground segment *** topology changes occur very frequently due to high speed nature of objects in UAV-enabled IoE(Ue-IoE).The routing maintenance overhead may increase when scaling the Ue-IoE(number of objects increases).A single change in topology can force all the objects of the Ue-IoE to update their routing ***,the frequent updating in routing table entries will result more energy dissipation and the lifetime of the Ue-IoE may *** objects consume more energy on routing *** prevent the frequent updation of routing tables associated with each object,the computation of routes from source to destination may be limited to optimum number of objects in the *** this article,we propose a routing scheme in which the responsibility of route computation(from neighbor objects to destination)is assigned to some IoE-objects in the *** route computation objects(RCO)are selected on the basis of certain parameters like remaining energy and *** RCO send the routing information of destination objects to their neighbors once they want to communicate with other *** proposed protocol is simulated and the results show that it outperform state-of-the-art protocols in terms of average energy consumption,messages overhead,throughput,delay etc.

One of the technologies that have attracted the most attention recently across a variety of applications is the Internet of Things (IoT). The Internet of Things (IoT) is the combination of sensor, embedded computing, and communication technologies. The goal of the Internet of Things is to provide seamless services to anything, everywhere, at any time. The internet of things (IoT) technologies plays a vital role everywhere after the internet and information and communication technology, ushering in the fourth disruptive technology revolution (ICT). For real-time processing, communication, and monitoring, the smart items are linked together through wired or wireless connections. Implementing the IoT system presents security and privacy challenges since IoT devices are incompatible with current security standards based on tradition. This paper discusses IoT security strands, mitigation strategies, and privacy issues. This study’s major objective is to get more knowledge about security threats, mitigation techniques, and privacy concerns in IoT devices. The authors also mentioned a few cutting-edge technologies that can address general security problems. This study’s major objectives are to find research gaps in IoT security and match solution paradigms. The advent and rapid growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), which offers innumerable benefits, facilities, and applications including smart grids, smart homes, smart cities, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS), have an impact on everyone’s life. However, the deployment and use of sensing devices exposes IoT-based systems and applications to many security flaws and attacks. Furthermore, the lack of standardization brought on by the diversity of devices and technologies makes integrating security in the IoT a severe problem. The purpose of this review paper is to highlight the numerous security threats, challenges, and attacks that IoT-enabled applications face.

Occupational Stress, Coping Strategies, and Quality of Life among Nurses in General and Psychiatric Setting in Jeddah City—KSA

Purpose: This study is aimed at comparing the level of occupational stress, ways of coping and the quality of life among nurses. Methods: Descriptive explanatory design was used with 278 nurses working in King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Jeddah, Mental Health Hospital in Jeddah, and Dr. Suleiman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah. Findings: Psychiatric nurses experience greater occupational stress than general nurses (p = 0.001). There was no statistically significant difference between the psychiatric and general nurses in relation to coping strategies (p = 0.38). Conclusion: Healthcare institutions should adapt stress evaluation and coping models specific to their unit. Practical Implication: Implementation of programs in each healthcare unit to educate nurses how to deal with work stressors and their negative effects.

An Update of the Recent Developments on Amblyopia

Amblyopia is a neurodevelopmental disorder of the visual cortex arising from abnormal visual experience early in life. Amblyopia is a major cause of impaired vision in infants and young children (prevalence around 3.5%). There are different treatment options for amblyopia based on its severity and age of the patient. Traditional treatments include patching or occlusion of the dominant eye and pharmacological penalisation using Atropine (1%). Recent developments in amblyopia management have found success with the use of binocular exercises and certain modifications of glasses and contact lenses. The critical age up to which amblyopia is treatable or reversible is also being pushed up with more research. With newer advancements in amblyopia therapy, the success rate is also improving with multimodal approach.

CeTrivium:A Stream Cipher Based on Cellular Automata for Securing Real-Time Multimedia Transmission

Chemodynamic therapy(CDT)based on cascade catalytic nanomedicine has emerged as a promising cancer treatment ***,most of the reported cascade catalytic systems are designed based on symmetric-or co-assembly of multiple catalytic active sites,in which their functions are difficult to perform independently and may interfere with each *** in cascade catalytic system that involves fragile natural-enzymes,the strong oxidation of free-radicals toward natural-enzymes should be carefully considered,and the spatial distribution of the multiple catalytic active sites should be carefully organized to avoid the degradation of the enzyme catalytic ***,a spatially-asymmetric cascade nanocatalyst is developed for enhanced CDT,which is composed by a Fe_(3)O_(4)head and a closely connected mesoporous silica nanorod immobilized with glucose oxidase(mSiO_(2)-GOx).The mSiO_(2)-GOx subunit could effectively deplete glucose in tumor cells,and meanwhile produce a considerable amount of H_(2)O_(2)for subsequent Fenton reaction under the catalysis of Fe_(3)O_(4)subunit in the tumor *** the advantage of the spatial isolation of mSiO_(2)-GOx and Fe_(3)O_(4)subunits,the catalysis of GOx and freeradicals generation occur at different domains of the asymmetric nanocomposite,minimizing the strong oxidation of free-radicals toward the activity of GOx at the other *** addition,direct exposure of Fe_(3)O_(4)subunit without any shelter could further enhance the strong oxidation of free-radicals toward ***,compared with traditional core@shell structure,the long-term stability and efficiency of the asymmetric cascade catalytic for CDT is greatly increased by 138%,thus realizing improved cancer cell killing and tumor restrain efficiency.

Evaluation of Cavity Formation and the Use of Cut-off Wall to Reduce the Risk of Washing Subsurface Fine Material

This study shows the results of mapping numerous cavities and distress which appeared and detected in Qassim area, Saudi Arabia. This phenomenon was observed near a school building and residential area and became a serious risk to occupants and residents. The survey was carried out applying geotechnical techniques which included advancing rotary boreholes to depths of 23 m to 30 m with sampling and testing. The evaluation process also included resistivity imaging profiles using 2D electrical resistivity measurements. Results obtained from this research showed a thick top layer of silty clayey sand soil rich of gypsum and carbonate presenting a hazardous and high-risk soil type. The percentage of fines that are likely to be washed out as a result of chemical disintegration and exposure to significant hydraulic gradient was of great concern. Assessment was made using combined geotechnical and geophysical approach in addition to chemical tests. Based on the data collected and analysis of test results a practical solution was suggested to solve this problem. The use of “cut-off wall” in order to reduce the level of subsurface scour and cajuvity formation were found appropriate. The depth of the cut off wall was determined based on the subsurface geological profile. Advantages of this approach and concerns need to be considered in adopting typical solutions that are presented.

An Enhanced Dragonfly Key Exchange Protocol against Offline Dictionary Attack

Dragonfly is Password Authenticated Key Exchange protocol that uses a shared session key to authenticate parties based on pre-shared secret password. It was claimed that this protocol was secure against off-line dictionary attack, but a new research has proved its vulnerability to off-line dictionary attack and proving step was applied by using “Patched Protocol” which was based on public key validation. Unfortunately, this step caused a raise in the computation cost, which made this protocol less appealing than its competitors. We proposed an alternate enhancement to keep this protocol secure without any extra computation cost that was known as “Enhanced Dragonfly”. This solution based on two-pre-shared secret passwords instead of one and the rounds between parties had compressed into two rounds instead of four. We prove that the enhanced-Dragonfly protocol is secure against off-line dictionary attacks by analyzing its security properties using the Scyther tool. A simulation was developed to measure the execution time of the enhanced protocol, which was found to be much less than the execution time of patched Dragonfly. The off-line dictionary attack time is consumed for few days if the dictionary size is 10,000. According to this, the use of the enhanced Dragonfly is more efficient than the patched Dragonfly.

Energy-Momentum Density of Non-Diagonal Bianchi Type Space-Time in General Relativity and Teleparallel Gravity

We calculated the energy-momentum density of non-diagonal Bianchi type space-time in two different theories of gravity, General relativity (GR) and the theory of Teleparallel gravity (TG). Firstly, by applying Einstein, Landau-Lifshitz, Bergmann-Thomson and Møller prescriptions, using double index complexes in GR. Secondly, in the frame work of TG, we used the energy momentum complexes of Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson and Landau-Lifshitz. We also study the spacial cases of non-diagonal Bianchi type space-time BII, BVIII and BIX. We obtained the same energy-momentum density components for Einstein and Bergmann-Thomson prescriptions for the above four mentioned space-times that we considered in our work. Also, we found that the energy density component in Møller prescription is zero for all Bianchi types space-times in GR. Furthermore, we show that if the metric components are functions of time t alone, then the total gravitational energy is identically zero.
