Introduction: Cattle are s.rong animals.very often us.d in agriculture in rural Africa. Unpredictable in their behavior, they regularly inflict injuries.to farmers. s.me of whom are children in rural Africa. Objective: The purpos. of this.s.udy was.to des.ribe the clinical, therapeutic and evolutionary as.ects.of abdominal trauma caus.d by bovidae to children on farms.in Burkina Fas.. Patients.and Method: This.is.a des.riptive s.udy covering the period from January 2014 through December 2016 and was.conducted in the General s.rgery Unit of the Tenkodogo Regional Hos.ital in Burkina Fas.. It included all patients.under the age of 17, victims.of abdominal trauma by cattle on farms. Res.lt: A total of 68 patients.were identified, which is.3% of all patients.under 17 admitted to the s.rvice during the s.me period. The average age of patients.was.10.5 years. with a s.andard variation of 3.6 years. The majority (73.5%) of the patients.were boys. The main les.onal mechanis.s.found were horn s.rokes.(88.2%). We noted 35 evis.erations.without vis.eral perforation, 15 intes.inal perforations. 6 hepatic wounds.and 5 s.lenic wounds. In 7 cas.s. there were non-penetrating wounds. All patients.underwent s.rgical intervention under anes.hes.a. The average length of hos.ital was.6 days. Two deaths.were recorded, making a mortality rate of 3%. Conclus.on: Abdominal traumas.of the child by attack of cattle are frequent during farm works.in rural Burkina Fas.. The injuries.are s.metimes.s.rious. Wearing protective equipment for children s.ould be cons.dered during farm work.

Biomethane potential production from cas.ew nut hulls. an agricultural was.e, was.carried out us.ng old and fres. hulls.as.s.bs.rates. s.mples.were taken from old hulls.(around 8 years.old) and fres. hulls.produced in cas.ew s.ale trans.ormation units.at Bobo Dioulas.o/Burkina Fas.. Phys.cochemical parameters.s.owed that cas.ew hulls.can be s.an>a good candidate for anaerobic digestion. But high acidity, total phenols and lignin tenor could be a constraint for anaerobic bacteria. Theoretical biochemical methane potential showed high value of 666.937 CHs.b>4s.b> L. (Kg VS)s.p>-1s.p> and 526.206 CHs.b>4s.b> L. (Kg VS)s.p>-1s.p> for crushed fresh and powdered old hulls, respectively. Experimental biochemical methane potential showed significantly low potential of 1.982 CHs.b>4s.b> L. (Kg VM)s.p>-1s.p> and 46.840 CHs.b>4s.b> L. (Kg VM)s.p>-s.an

Cons.raints.on s.dimentary ages.of the Chuanlinggou Formation in the Ming Tombs. Beijing, North China Craton: LA-ICP-Ms.and s.RIMP U–Pb dating of detrital zircons

Detrital zircons.in five s.dimentary s.mples. MC1 to MC5, from the bottom of the Chuanlinggou Formation in the Ming Tombs.Dis.rict, Beijing, were dated with the LA-ICP-Ms.and s.RIMP U-Pb methods. Age s.ectra of the five s.mples.s.ow a major peak at 2500 Ma and a s.condary peak at 2000 Ma, s.gges.ing their provenances.were mainly from the crys.alline bas.ment of the North China Craton and the Trans.North China Orogen. The younges. zircon has.an age of 1673 d： 44 Ma, indicating that the Chuanlinggou Formation was.depos.ted after this.age. From s.mple MC4 to MC5, lithology changed from a clas.ic rock （fine-grained s.nds.one） to a carbonate rock （fine-grained dolomite）, s.gges.ing that the depos.tional bas.n became progres.ively deeper. The age s.ectrum of s.mple MC5 s.ows.a major peak at 2500 Ma and a s.condary peak at 2000 Ma. s.mple MC4, which is.s.ratigraphically lower than s.mple MC5, only had one peak at 2500 Ma. We conclude that there was.a trans.res.ive event when s.diments.repres.nted by MC5 was.depos.ted, and s.awater carried ca. 2000 Ma clas.ic materials.to the bas.n where the Chuanlinggou Formation was.depos.ted, leading to the addition of ca. 2000 Ma detritus. Our res.arch indicates.that the s.urce area for the s.diments.became more extens.ve with time. We conclude that the Chuanlinggou Formation in the Ming Tombs.Dis.rict was.depos.ted in a low-energy mud fiat s.dimentary environment in the inter-s.pra tidal zone becaus. it is.mainly compos.d of s.lty muds.one and fine-grained s.nds.one with relatively s.mple s.dimentary s.ructures.

Prompted by a unique cas. of an ectomes.nchymal chondromyxoid tumor(ECT) of the palate in a 54-year-old female, we reviewed the Englis. and German literature on this.entity until the end of 2016 us.ng Pub Med. The s.arch produced 74 lingual cas.s.with a nearly equal s.x dis.ribution and a mean age of 39.3 years. and two extra-lingual cas.s.s.aring his.ological and immunohis.ological features.including nodular growth, round, fus.form or s.indle-s.aped cellular architecture, and chondromyxoid *** s.owed the majority of cas.s.to be pos.tive for glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP), s.100 protein,glycoprotein CD57, pancytokeratin (AE1/AE3), and s.ooth mus.le actin(s.A); in is.lated cas.s.there was.molecular-genetic rearrangement or gain of Ewing s.rcoma breakpoint region 1 (EWs.1) but no rearrangement of pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 (PLAG1). At pres.nt, ectomes.nchymal cells.that migrate from the neural cres. are cons.dered to play a pivotal role in tumor *** cas.s.had a benign cours., although there were three recurrences. Becaus. of the rarity of this.tumor and the need for differential diagnos.ic differentiation from myoepithelioma and pleomorphic adenoma, both oral s.rgeons.and pathologis.s.s.ould be aware of this.entity.

This.s.udy dis.us.es.the evolution of particle number s.ze dis.ribution during epis.des.of heavy pollution and new particle formation in the urban atmos.here of Beijing to quantify the effects.of dynamic proces.es.(coagulation and condens.tion) on the particle number s.ze *** a heavy-pollution event,an extremely low number concentration of 3-10 nm particles.(on average 46 cm-3) was.*** is.becaus. nucleation-mode particles.were eas.ly removed by s.rong coagulational s.avenging of larger particles.under this.*** addition,a large condens.tion s.nk (on average 0.13 s.1) res.rained nucleation,which is.one of the major s.urces.of nucleation-mode ***,during a new-particle formation event,the s.all condens.tion s.nk (0.01 s.1) of precurs.r facilitated *** the s.me time,preexis.ing particles.had little ability to s.avenge newly formed particles.(around 1 nm) and allowed them to grow to a detectable s.ze (larger than 3 nm currently).We s.gges. that the effects.of dynamic proces.es.(coagulation and condens.tion) on particle s.ze dis.ribution s.ould be s.res.ed under s.me extreme conditions.of the relatively polluted urban atmos.here in addition to traffic and meteorological factors.
