The Basidiomycota constitutes a major phylum of the kingdom Fungi and is second in species numbers to the *** present work provides an overview of all validly published,currently used basidiomycete genera to date in a single *** outline of all genera of Basidiomycota is provided,which includes 1928 currently used genera names,with 1263 synonyms,which are distributed in 241 families,68 orders,18 classes and four *** provide brief notes for each accepted genus including information on classification,number of accepted species,type species,life mode,habitat,distribution,and sequence ***,three phylogenetic analyses with combined LSU,SSU,5.8s,rpb1,rpb2,and ef1 datasets for the subphyla Agaricomycotina,Pucciniomycotina and Ustilaginomycotina are conducted,*** time estimates are provided to the family level with 632 species from 62 orders,168 families and 605 *** study indicates that the divergence times of the subphyla in Basidiomycota are 406-430 Mya,classes are 211-383 Mya,and orders are 99-323 Mya,which are largely consistent with previous *** this study,all phylogenetically supported families were dated,with the families of Agaricomycotina diverging from 27-178 Mya,Pucciniomycotina from 85-222 Mya,and Ustilaginomycotina from 79-177 *** times as additional criterion in ranking provide additional evidence to resolve taxonomic problems in the Basidiomycota taxonomic system,and also provide a better understanding of their phylogeny and evolution.

Blood Pressure Evaluation in Dogs by the Method Doppler and Oscillometric

Blood pressure is currently a very important tool for clinical and veterinary surgery, especially in monitoring patients under anesthesia and in emergency situations. Hypertension can cause a number of changes in the body of dogs and cats, especially those who are middle-aged and elderly. In veterinary medicine, the blood pressure can be measured non-invasively and invasively. The non-invasive, or indirect technique, is frequently used during routine examinations since it presents convenience as it can be carried out quickly, although it is less accurate. For this research 245 dogs were selected, with one to ten years of age, of both sexes, castrated and uncastrated of different breeds and body scores. The dogs were weighed and had the body condition score determined using the system of 9 points, being categorized into: Control group, overweight group or obese group. Systolic blood pressure was obtained by non-invasive method using the Doppler flowmeter and the oscillometric method. 48 animals were excluded due to the high variability of values, with systolic blood pressure greater than 160 mm?Hg, as well as uncooperative and/or aggressive patients. There was agreement between both methods in 197 dogs conscious and asymptomatic and, therefore, this study showed that oscillometric method can be used in normotensive patients as the study was conducted in patients of different sizes, breeds, ages, body scores and sexual status.

BACKGROUND The etiology of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is unknown,but it is believed to be *** hygiene hypothesis proposes that better hygiene conditions would lead to less infectious disease during childhood and favor the development of immune-mediated *** To test the hygiene hypothesis in IBD by assessing the environmental risk factors associated with IBD development in different regions of Brazil with diverse socioeconomic development *** A multicenter case-control study was carried out with 548 Crohn’s disease(CD)and 492 ulcerative colitis(UC)outpatients and 416 healthy controls,from six IBD centers within different Brazilian states at diverse socioeconomic development stages.A semi-structured questionnaire with 87 socioeconomic and environmental questions was *** regression model was created to assess the odds ratio(OR)with P value and 95%confidence intervals(CI).RESULTS Predictive variables for both diseases(CD and UC)were women[odd ratios(OR)=1.31;OR=1.69],low monthly family income(OR=1.78;OR=1.57),lower number of cohabitants(OR=1.70;OR=1.60),absence of vaccination(OR=3.11;OR=2.51),previous history of bowel infections(OR=1.78;OR=1.49),and family history of IBD(OR=5.26;OR=3.33).Associated risk factors for CD were age(18-39 years)(OR=1.73),higher educational level(OR=2.22),absence of infectious childhood diseases(OR=1.99).The UC predictive variables were living in an urban area(OR=1.62),inadequate living conditions(OR=1.48)and former smokers(OR=3.36).Appendectomy was a risk factor for CD(OR=1.58)with inverse association with UC(OR=4.79).Consumption of treated and untreated water was associated with risk of CD(OR=1.38)and UC(OR=1.53),*** This is the first examining environmental exposures as risk factors for inflammatory bowel disease in *** of the variables associated with disease risk support the role of the hygiene hypothesis in IBD development.

Field studies on soil ammonia(NH_(3))volatilization are restricted in many countries owing to the high costs commonly demanded for accurate *** assessed the accuracy of a simple,open chamber design to capture NH_(3)under field conditions,as affected by different chamber placement ***-15 N was surface applied to lysimeters installed in the spaces between maize *** chambers made from plastic bottles were installed on each lysimeter with variations in i)N rates(3,8,13,and 18 g m^(-2)),ii)the height of the chamber above the soil surface(0,5,and 10 mm),and iii)chamber relocation(static ***).Reference lysimeters without chambers were used to measure NH_(3)losses by^(15)*** of NH_(3)-N accounted for more than 50%of the applied *** of the chambers had no impact on their NH_(3)-trapping efficiencies,proving to be an unnecessary *** in the height of the chambers above the soil surface affected the capture of NH_(3),but the results still maintained high linearity with the NH_(3)losses quantified by the reference method(R^(2)>0.98).When the same placement scheme used in the introductory study describing the chamber was utilized(static and touching the soil surface),we found a trapping efficiency of 60%,which was very similar to that(57%)obtained in the previous *** results show that this simple,open chamber design can be used with satisfactory accuracy under field conditions,provided that simple,standardized procedures are warranted.

研究高浓缩甘蔗饲料中添加不同浓度的大豆油(SBO)对奶牛的牛奶质量和代谢反应的影响。试验选取8头泌乳中期(体重574±19.1 kg,产奶122±6.9 d),平均产奶量22.5±1.22 kg·d^(-1),随机分配到4×4拉丁方阵中。试验为期21 d,包括前14 d适应期,15~21 d采样期。根据SBO占干物质(DM)的比例不同,分为空白组(0%)、低剂量组(1.57%)、中剂量组(4.43%)和高剂量组(7.34%)。随着SBO的添加,干物质摄入量呈二次方趋势降低。中剂量组和高剂量组干物质摄入量最低。牛奶和能量校正乳产量均受SBO添加的影响,但中剂量组轻微减少,而高剂量组大幅下降。乳脂浓度呈线性下降,空白组含量为3.78%,而高剂量组为3.50%。高剂量组瘤胃中潜在的可消化中性洗涤纤维消化率从55.7%下降至35.2%,瘤胃中的可消化中性洗涤纤维部分消化率速度呈直线下降到1.39%·h^(-1),而空白组为3.13%·h^(-1)。从高剂量组可知,瘤胃中的中性洗涤纤维消化率受影响较大,为2.25%·h^(-1)。空白组和高剂量组瘤胃pH从6.42升到6.67,氨氮从28.1下降到21.4 mg·dL^(-1)。中剂量组和高剂量组瘤胃挥发性脂肪酸含量下降,血清葡萄糖、脂肪酸和β-羟丁酸不受SBO影响。然而,随着SBO的添加,血清中总胆固醇、高密度脂肪和低密度脂蛋白浓度线性增加。SBO添加量从4.43%到7.34%过程中,干物质采食量、能量校正乳产量、纤维消化率和瘤胃发酵程度均下降,因此在奶牛饲料中添加SBO 1.57%是安全的。

Purpose:To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of the screening modes of frequency-doubling technology(FDT),tendency-oriented perimetry(TOP),SITA Standard(SS)and SITA Fast(SF)in perimetrically inexperienced ***:One eye of 64 glaucoma patients and 53 normal subjects who had never undergone automated perimetry were tested with programs C-20-5(FDT),G1(TOP)and 24-2(SS and SF).The gold standard for glaucoma was the presence of a typical glaucomatous optic disc appearance on stereoscopic examination(judged by a glaucoma expert),and intraocular pressure(IOP)> 21 *** test order among strategies was randomized for each *** define an abnormal visual field,we applied three criteria for SS and SF and two criteria for TOP and FDT,all of which have been previously described in the *** and specificities among the different criteria were compared using the Cochran ***:Frequency-doubling technology showed the shortest mean test duration,followed by TOP,SF and SS(p < 0.05).Sensitivity ranges were 87.5-89.1% for SS,92.2-93.8% for SF,87.5-89.1% for TOP,and 82.8-85.9% for FDT(p=0.34).Specificity ranges were 73.6-83% for FDT,56.6-62.3% for TOP,60.4-69.8% for SF and 66.0-71.7% for *** specificity obtained with criterion 2 for FDT(based on the presence of two or more abnormal locations regardless of the severity of abnormal points)was higher than those measured with the other strategies(p < 0.01).Conclusion:When testing individuals with no perimetric experience,moderate sensitivities and specificities should be expected,regardless of the strategy chosen.

Measuring ammonia(NH_(3))volatilization from urea-fertilized soils is crucial for evaluation of practices that reduce gaseous nitrogen(N)losses in *** small area of chambers used for NH_(3)volatilization measurements compared with the size of field plots may cause significant errors if inadequate sampling strategies are *** aims were:i)to investigate the effect of using multiple open chambers on the variability in the measurement of NH_(3)volatilization in urea-amended field plots and ii)to define the critical period of NH_(3)-N losses during which the concentration of sampling effort is capable of reducing *** use of only one chamber covering 0.015%of the plot(51.84 m^(2))generates a value of NH_(3)-N loss within an expected margin of error of 30%around the true *** reduce the error margin by half(15%),3–7 chambers were required with a mean of 5 chambers per *** the sampling efforts in the first two weeks after urea application,which is usually the most critical period of N losses and associated errors,represents an efficient strategy to lessen uncertainty in the measurements of NH_(3)*** strategy enhances the power of detection of NH_(3)-N loss abatement in field experiments using chambers.
