The optical properties of hybrid core-shell nanostructures composed of a metallic core and an organic shell of molecular J-aggregates are determined by the electromagnetic coupling between plasmons localized at the surface of the metallic core and Frenkel excitons in the *** cases of strong and ultra-strong plasmon-exciton coupling,the use of the traditional isotropic classical oscillator model to describe the J-aggregate permittivity may lead to drastic discrepancies between theoretical predictions and the available experimental spectra of hybrid *** show that these discrepancies are not caused by limitations of the classical oscillator model itself,but by considering the organic shell as an optically isotropic *** assuming a tangential orientation of the classical oscillators of the molecular J-aggregates in a shell,we obtain excellent agreement with the experimental extinction spectra of TDBC-coated gold nanorods,which cannot be treated with the conventional isotropic shell *** results extend the understanding of the physical effects in the optics of metal-organic nanoparticles and suggest an approach for the theoretical description of such hybrid systems.

本研究开发了利用磷酸锌水泥和碱性硅酸钠水溶液作为黏合剂的丝网印刷形成n型和p型热元件腿的技术,研究了厚膜的热电性能。以碱性硅酸钠水溶液为黏合剂,利用基于Bi_(2)Te_(3)-Sb_(2)Te_(3)(p型)和Bi_(2)Te_(3)-Bi_(2)Se_(3)(n型)的悬浮液的丝网印刷结果,制备了柔性热电发电机(TEG)的原型。开发的原型包括6对由铜线连接的n型和p型腿,和一个硅胶基质被用作柔性底座。对样机的研究表明,在室温(298 K)下,柔性厚膜TEG在温差?T=2.5 K和10.0 K下的输出电压分别为0.8 mV和14.8 mV。

At present,the stability of the new generation of solar cells based on hybrid perovskites is the bottleneck for their practical *** effects,high temperature,ultraviolet light,humidity and other known or still unknown factors might cause reduction of effectiveness or even irreversible loss of materials properties due to decomposition of functional layers within perovskite solar cells(PSCs).These factors alone have a serious impact on each component of the device,while their combinations lead to much more complicated effects and *** review focuses on the stability of PSCs and the degradation of the device in a humid *** assess the instability factors and deep-seated principles of evolution of the device structure in a humidity environment with the emphasis on the influence on their *** related solutions are reviewed from the perspective of the encapsulation,perovskite active layer,carrier transport layer and *** with the latest research,we believe that the waterproof strategy of PSCs requires either tight encapsulation or thorough modifications in the device ***,it is important to develop feasible strategies to improve the overall device stability over humid according to the target characteristics of various devices.

Copolyfluorenes are of great interest due to their ability to form thin films with tunable optical and electrical *** this paper,copolymers of polyfluorene with electron withdrawing dicyanostilbene and dicyanophenanthrene moieties were synthesized;their thin films were characterized by electron spectroscopy,cyclic voltammetry,electrical,and photoelectrical *** mobility of charge carriers in the copolymers was measured for the first time,with the acceptor components providing balanced electron and hole mobilities of the order of 10^(-6) cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1).Photodetectors based on the copolymer/PTCDI heterojunction exhibited the photoresponse band extended into the green region due to the absorption of PTCDI and an increased photocurrent in the UV-blue absorption band of the copolymer,which is related to the absorption of photoluminescent emission of the copolymers in *** presented approach to improving the performance of a polymer-based photodetector is promising in organic optoelectronics.

This study addresses the parameter identification problem in a system of time-dependent quasi-linear partial differential equations(PDEs).Using the integral equation method,we prove the uniqueness of the inverse problem in nonlinear ***,using the method of successive approximations,we develop a novel iterative algorithm to estimate sorption *** stability results of the algorithm are proven under both a priori and a posteriori stopping rules.A numerical example is given to show the efficiency and robustness of the proposed new approach.

Experimental beneficiation processes of quartz concentrate in arc plasma torches of two different types and electric powers were studied. An emission scanning electron microscope and a universal laser analyzer were used to investigate the structures as well as the size distributions of grains and microparticles. Inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry was used to determine the chemical compositions of nonstructural solid-phase mineral impurities in quartz concentrate. Results related to the modified grains' structure and size distribution, the compositions of impurities, and the gas–liquid inclusions in the quartz concentrate were investigated. The total impurities concentrations in the processed grains were found to satisfy the IOTA-STD standard(industry standard for grading high quality fused quartz products). The optimal condition(i.e., the optimal specific plasma enthalpy) for the production of high-purity quartz in arc plasma torches was found to depend on the geological-genetic type and the structural and textural features(i.e., chemical composition and gas–liquid inclusions) of the quartz concentrate.

The defects created in commercial dental alloys during blasting with alumina particles propelled in compressed air under pressure 0.1 and 0.4 MPa have been studied using positron annihilation spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. It was observed that higher pressure causes the increase in roughness and damaged zone range. The type of defects was determined as vacancies on dislocations. The defect concentration decreases with the depth and depends on alloys' type and applied pressure. The Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy and variable energy positron beam studies indicate shallow alumina deposition in material and show that small pressure of 0.1 MPa is not enough to remove metal surface oxides completely in 60 s in all studied dental alloys.

Protonic ceramic fuel cells(PCFCs)offer a convenient means for electrochemical conversion of chemical energy into electricity at intermediate temperatures with very high *** BaCeO_(3)-and BaZrO_(3)-based complex oxides have been positioned as the most promising PCFC electrolytes,the design of new protonic conductors with improved properties is of paramount *** the present work,we studied transport properties of scandium-doped barium stannate(Sc-doped BaSnO_(3)).Our analysis included the fabrication of porous and dense BaSn_(1−x)Sc_(x)O_(3−δ)ceramic materials(0≤x≤0.37),as well as a comprehensive analysis of their total,ionic,and electronic conductivities across all the experimental conditions realized under the PCFC operation:both air and hydrogen atmospheres with various water vapor partial pressures(p(H2O)),and a temperature range of 500–900℃.This work reports on electrolyte domain boundaries of the undoped and doped BaSnO_(3)for the first time,revealing that pure BaSnO_(3)exhibits mixed ionic–electronic conduction behavior under both oxidizing and reducing conditions,while the Sc-doping results in the gradual improvement of ionic(including protonic)conductivity,extending the electrolyte domain boundaries towards reduced *** latter property makes the heavilydoped BaSnO_(3)representatives attractive for PCFC applications.

Despite numerous works devoted to hybrid origin of parthenogenesis in reptiles,the causes of hybridization between different species,resulting in the origin of parthenogenetic forms,remain *** studies demonstrate that sexual species considered parental to parthenogenetic rock lizards(Darevskia spp.)avoid interspecific mating in the secondary overlap areas.A specific combination of environmental factors during last glaciation period was critical for ectotherms,which led to a change in their distribution and sex *** population structure(e.g.,male bias)and limited available distributional range favored the deviation of reproductive behavior when species switched to interspecific *** date,at least 7 diploid parthenogenetic species of rock lizards(Darevskia,Lacertidae)originated through interspecific hybridization in the *** cytogenetic specifics of meiosis,in particular the weak checkpoints of prophase l,may have allowed the formation of hybrid karyotypes in rock *** and polyploidization are 2 important evolutionary forces in the genus *** present,throughout backcrossing between parthenogenetic and parental species,the triploid and tetraploid hybrid individuals appear annually,but no triploid species found among Darevskia *** current stage of *** speciation by hybridization with the long-term stage of diploid parthenogenetic species,non-distorted meiosis,together with the high ecological plasticity of Caucasian rock lizards provide us with a new model for considering the pathways and persistence of the evolution of parthenogenesis in vertebrates.
