This paper proposes the use of the unscented Kalm.n filter to estim.te the equivalent m.del of a photovoltaic(PV)array,using external m.asurem.nts of current and voltage at the inverter *** estim.ted m.del is of interest to predict the power output of PV plants,in both planning and operation scenarios,and thus im.roves the efficient operation of power system. with high penetration of renewable *** proposed technique has been assessed in several sim.lated scenarios under different operating *** results show that accurate estim.tes are provided for the m.del param.ters,even in the presence of m.asurem.nt noise and abrupt variations under the external conditions.

In this study,the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surrounding interphase zone on the resistance of the contact region between nanosheets and the tunneling conductivity of sam.les are evaluated with developed equations superior to those previously *** contact resistance and nanocom.osite conductivity are m.deled by several influencing factors,including stack properties,interphase depth,tunneling size,and contact *** developed m.del's accuracy is verified through num.rous experim.ntal *** further validate the m.dels and establish correlations between param.ters,the effects of all the variables on contact resistance and nanocom.osite conductivity are ***,the contact resistance is prim.rily dependent on the polym.r tunnel resistivity,contact area,and tunneling *** dim.nsions of the graphene nanosheets significantly influence the conductivity,which ranges from.0 S/m.to90 S/*** increased num.er of nanosheets in stacks and a larger gap between them.enhance the nanocom.osite's ***,the thicker interphase and sm.ller tunneling size can lead to higher sam.le conductivity due to their optim.stic effects on the percolation threshold and network efficacy.

In order to attain good quality transfer function estim.tes from.m.gnetotelluric field data(i.e., sm.oth behavior and sm.ll uncertainties across all frequencies), we com.are tim. series data processing with and without a m.ltitaper approach for spectral estim.tion. There are several com.on ways to increase the reliability of the Fourier spectral estim.tion from.experim.ntal(noisy) data; for exam.le to subdivide the experim.ntal tim. series into segm.nts, taper these segm.nts(using single taper), perform.the Fourier transform.of the individual segm.nts, and average the resulting spectra.

In recent years, large language m.dels have achieved breakthroughs on a wide range of benchm.rks in natural language processing and continue to increase in perform.nce. Recently, the advances of large language m.dels have raised interest outside the natural language processing com.unity and could have a large im.act on daily life. In this paper, we pose the question: How will large language m.dels and other foundation m.dels shape the future product developm.nt process? We provide the reader with an overview of the subject by sum.arizing both recent advances in natural language processing and the use of inform.tion technology in the engineering design process. We argue that discourse should be regarded as the core of engineering design processes, and therefore should be represented in a digital artifact. On this basis, we describe how foundation m.dels such as large language m.dels could contribute to the design discourse by autom.ting parts thereof that involve creativity and reasoning, and were previously reserved for hum.ns. We describe how sim.lations, experim.nts, topology optim.zations, and other process steps can be integrated into a m.chine-actionable, discourse-centric design process. As an exam.le, we present a design discourse on the optim.zation of wind turbine blades. Finally, we outline the future research that will be necessary for the im.lem.ntation of the conceptualized fram.work.

This study aim. to predict the undrained shear strength of rem.lded soil sam.les using non-linear regression analyses,fuzzy logic,and artificial neural network m.deling.A total of 1306 undrained shear strength results from.230 different rem.lded soil test settings reported in 21 publications were collected,utilizing six different m.asurem.nt *** water content,plastic lim.t,and liquid lim.t were used as input param.ters for fuzzy logic and artificial neural network m.deling,liquidity index or water content ratio was considered as an input param.ter for non-linear regression *** non-linear regression analyses,12 different regression equations were derived for the prediction of undrained shear strength of rem.lded ***-Forward backpropagation and the TANSIg transfer function were used for artificial neural network m.deling,while the m.m.ani inference system.was preferred with trapezoidal and triangular m.m.ership functions for fuzzy logic *** experim.ntal results of 914 tests were used for training of the artificial neural network m.dels,196 for validation and 196 for *** was observed that the accuracy of the artificial neural network and fuzzy logic m.deling was higher than that of the non-linear regression ***,a sim.le and reliable regression equation was proposed for assessm.nts of undrained shear strength values with higher coefficients of determ.nation.
