In solar cells,hybrid halide perovskites operate under constant bias,thus their stability towards electric field-induced degradation is of key *** we report on evidence of previously unidentified electric field-induced transitions and degradation path of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)(MAPbI_(3))using elemental and phase *** films of MAPbI_(3) were deposited onto 1-2μm-pitch interdigitated electrodes and subjected to direct current(DC)-*** MAPbI_(3) layer polarized withgoes pronounced ion redistribution to methylammonium-rich MAPbI_(3)-y(ygradation of MAPbI_(3).Using nanofocus grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering(gIWAXS),we unambiguously showed that the bias voltage induces the transformation ofβ-MAPbI_(3) to metastableδ-MAPbI_(3) polymorph via alignment of polar organic cation with the electric *** transformation is partially reversible upon field ***,once formed,δ-MAPbI_(3) disrupts the morphology of pristine film and undergoes decomposition toβ-MAPbI_(3)(β-MAPI)and PbI_(2).With the aforementioned compositional and phase changes,only MA-rich part serves as the charge separation layer,while the I-rich excitation is blocked with the PbI_(2) barrier serving as holes trapping *** observations reveal the intermediate steps in electric-field-driven degradation of halide perovskites and show the role of polar cations in the process,which is instructive for further material design with higher stability metrics.

The results of a theoretical study on the influence of strength of interphase boundaries in metal-ceramic composite on macroscopical characteristics of composite response such as strength, deformation capacity, fracture energy and fracture pattern are presented. The study was conducted by means of computer-aided simulation by means of movable cellular automaton method taking account of a developed ＂mesoscopical＂ structural model of particle-reinforced composite. The strength of interphase boundaries is found to be a key structural factor determining not only the strength properties of metal-ceramic composite, but also the pattern and rate of fracture. The principles for achievement of the high-strength values of particle/binder interfaces in the metal-ceramic composition due to the formation of the wide transition zones （areas of variable chemical composition） at the interphase boundaries are discussed. Simulation results confirm that such transition zones provide a change in fracture mechanism and make the achievement of a high-strength and a high deformation capacity of metal-ceramic composite possible.

Roof model recommendation for complex buildings based on combination rules and symmetry features in footprints

Currently,very few roof shape information for complex buildings is available on ***,additional data requirements(e.g.3D point clouds)limit the applicability of many roof reconstruction *** mitigate this issue,we propose an approach to roof shape recommendations for complex buildings by exploring the inherited characteristics of building footprints:the disclosure of rectangles combinations in a partition of footprints and the symmetrical features of ***,it decomposes a complex footprint into rectangles by using an advanced minimal non-overlapping cover ***,a graph-based symmetry detection algorithm is proposed to identify all the symmetrical sub-clusters in ***,a set of selection rules are defined to rank partitions,and the best ones are chosen for roof shape ***,a set of combination rules and a symmetry rule are *** enables to evaluate the probability of a footprint being a certain combination of roof *** results show the growth of the probability of correctly recommending roof shapes for single rectangles and buildings from a prior probability of 17–45%and from a prior probability of 0.29–14.3%,removing 60%and 93%of the incorrect roof shape options,respectively.

We present a semiempirical analytical model for the static polarizability of electronically excited atoms and molecules,which requires very few readily accessible input data,including the ground-state polarizability,elemental composition,ionization potential,and spin multiplicities of excited and ground *** very simple model formulated in a semiclassical framework is based on a number of observed trends in polarizability of electronically excited *** adjust the model,both accurate theoretical predictions and reliable measurements previously reported elsewhere for a broad range of multielectron species in the gas phase are *** some representative compounds of general concern that have not yet attracted sufficient research interest,the results of our multireference second-order perturbation theory calculations are additionally *** show that the model we developed has reasonable(given the considerable uncertainties in the reference data)accuracy in predicting the static polarizability of electronically excited species of arbitrary size and excitation *** findings can be useful for many applications,where there is a need for inexpensive and quick assessments of the static gas-phase polarizability of excited electronic states,in particular,when building the complex nonequilibrium kinetic models to describe the observed optical refractivity(dielectric permittivity)of nonthermal reacting gas flows.

In the study of the structure of graded algebras(such as graded ideals,graded subspaces,and radicals)or graded polynomial identities,the grading group can be replaced by any other group that realizes the same *** we come to the notion of weak equivalence of gradings:two gradings are weakly equivalent if there exists an isomorphism between the graded algebras that maps each graded component onto a graded *** group grading on an algebra can be weakly equivalent to g-gradings for many different groups g;however,it turns out that there is one distinguished group among them,called the universal group of the *** this paper we study categories and functors related to the notion of weak equivalence of *** particular,we introduce an oplax 2-functor that assigns to each grading its support,and show that the universal grading group functor has neither left nor right adjoint.
