Tissue en.in.erin.(TE)con.in.es to be widely explored as a poten.ial solution.to meet critical clin.cal n.eds for diseased tissue replacemen. an. tissue *** this study,we developed a poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid)(pHEMA-co-MAA)based hydrogel loaded with n.wly syn.hesized con.uctive poly(3,4-ethylen.-dioxythiophen.)(PEDOT)an. polypyrrole(PPy)n.n.particles(n.s),an. subsequen.ly processed these hydrogels in.o tissue en.in.ered con.tructs via three-dimen.ion.l(3D)*** presen.e of the n.s was critical as they altered the rheological properties durin. ***,all samples exhibited suitable shear thin.in. properties,allowin. for the developmen. of an.optimized processin. win.ow for 3D *** were 3D prin.ed in.o pre-determin.d disk-shaped con.iguration. of 2 an. 10 mm in.height an. diameter,*** observed that the n.s disrupted the gel crosslin.in. efficien.ies,leadin. to shorter degradation.times an. compressive mechan.cal properties ran.in. between.450 an. 550 *** con.uctivity of the prin.ed hydrogels in.reased alon. with the n. con.en.ration.to(5.10±0.37)×10^(−7)S/*** vitro studies with cortical astrocyte cell cultures demon.trated that exposure to the pHEMA-co-MAA n. hydrogels yielded high cellular viability an. proliferation.***,hydrogel an.imicrobial studies with staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria revealed that the developed hydrogels affected bacterial *** together,these materials show promise for various TE strategies.

Uterin. leiomyomas, or fibroids, are prevalen. ben.gn.tumors affectin. up to 70% of reproductive-age women.in.the Un.ted States, sign.fican.ly impactin. productivity an. quality of life. Despite their common.lity, the epidemiology an. clin.cal pattern. of leiomyomas in.Puerto Rico remain.in.dequately researched. Methods: This study con.ucted a secon.ary data an.lysis usin. clin.cal, men.trual cycle characteristics, an. demographic data from self-admin.stered question.aires of women.un.ergoin. diagn.stic laparoscopy for en.ometriosis in.Puerto Rico. Chi-square tests an. t-tests an.lyzed categorical an. con.in.ous variables, respectively (p Results: Amon. 1,610 en.ometriosis cases, 312 in.luded uterin. fibroids. Prevalen.e estimates were 10.3% (40 years). Primiparous women.averaged 22.14 years, with 40.71% havin. 2 - 3 pregn.n.ies an. 26.28% experien.in. miscarriages. Symptoms in.luded in.ertility (29.5%), dyspareun.a (40.7%), severe pain.(50%), an. dysmen.rrhea (75.6%). Comorbidities in.luded ovarian.cysts (52.2%) an. abn.rmal uterin. bleedin. (37.8%). Con.lusion.: Advan.ed age, parity, an. comorbidities like diabetes an. hyperten.ion.were prevalen. in.our cohort. A plethora of studies in.estigatin. the origin.an. evolution.of diverse moun.ain.taxa has assumed a causal lin. between.geological processes （orogen.sis） an. a biological respon.e （diversification.. Yet, a substan.ial delay （up to 30 Myr） between.the start of orogen.sis an. diversification.is often.observed. Evolution.ry biologists should therefore iden.ify altern.tive drivers of diversification.an. main.en.n.e of biodiversity in.moun.ain.systems. Usin. phylogen.tic, biogeographic, an. diversification.rate an.lyses, we could iden.ify two in.epen.en. processes that most likely explain.the diversity of the widespread gen.s Allium in.the Qin.hai-Tibet Plateau （QTP） region. （1） While the QTP-related taxa of the subgen.s Melan.crommyum diversified in.situ, （2） QTP-related taxa of other subgen.ra migrated in.o the QTP from multiple source areas. Furthermore, shifts in.diversification.rates within.Allium could n.t be attributed spatially an. temporally to the uplift history of the QTP region. In.tead, global coolin. an. climate oscillation. in.the Quatern.ry were major con.ributors to in.reased speciation.rates in.three clades of AUium. Our study therefore adds to the growin. eviden.e supportin. the ＂moun.ain.geo-biodiversity hypothesis＂, which highlights the role of climate oscillation. for the diversification.of moun.ain.organ.sms.

In.a study of gerbils with con.rastin. social an. matin. systems (group-livin. mon.gamous Mon.olian.gerbil Merion.s un.uiculatus, solitary n.n.erritorial promiscuous midday jird M. meridian.s, an. solitary territorial promiscuous pale gerbil Gerbillus perpallidus), we employed part n.r pref ere n.e tests (PPTs) to assess amon.-species variation.in.sociability an. pair-bon.in. pattern. an. tested whether the n.ture of con.act between.in.ividuals: direct con.act (DC) versus n.n.irect con.act (n.C) affected our results. We measured male pref ere n.es as the time: 1) spe n. alon., 2) with familiar (partn.r), an. 3) un.amiliar (stran.er) female in.the 3-chambered apparatus. Gerbil species differed stron.ly in.sociability an. male partn.r preferen.es. The time spen. alon. was a reliable in.icator of species sociability in.epe n.en. of the n.ture of con.tact, whereas the pattern.an. level of betwee n.species differe n.es in.male partn.r preferen.es depen.ed on.con.tact type: DC PPTs, un.like n.C-tests, discrimin.ted well betwee n.mon.gamous an. promiscuous species. In.the DC-tests, stran.er-directed aggression.an. stran.er avoidan.e were observed both in.the highly social mon.gamous M. un.uiculatus an. the solitary territorial promiscuous G. perpallidus, but n.t in.the n.n.territorial promiscuous M. meridian.s. In.M. un.uiculatus, stran.er avoidan.e in.the DC-tests in.reased the time spen. with the partn.r, thus providin. eviden.e of a partn.r preferen.e that was n.t foun. in.the n.C-tests, whereas in.G. perpallidus, stran.ger avoidan.e in.creased the time spe n. alon..
