Globally,the Rising Plate Meter(RPM)is a device used to measure compressed sward height,to enable estimation of herbage *** improved farm management practices aided by a variety of technological advances,the standard design of a RPM has remained relatively ***,however,a RPM utilising a micro-sonic sensor,with digital data capture capability via a Bluetooth communications link to a smart device application,has been ***,we assess the comparable ability of both a standard cumulative ratchet counter RPM and the micro-sonic sensor RPM,to accurately and precisely measure fixed ***,as correct allocation of grazing area requires accurate geolocation positioning,we assess the associated GPs *** micro-sonic sensor RPM was significantly more accurate for height capture than the cumulative ratchet counter ***,across all heights,the cumulative ratchet counter RPM underestimated height by 7.68±0.06mm(mean±sE).Alternatively,the micro-sonic sensor RPM overestimated height by 0.18±0.08 *** relation to a practical applications,these discrepancies can result in an under-and overestimation of dry matter yield by 13.71%and 0.32%kilograms per hectare,*** performance of the on-board GPs did not significantly differ from that of a tertiary ***,the wireless technology,integrated mapping,and decision support tools offered by the innovative micro-sonic sensor RPM provides for a highly efficacious grassland management tool.

Tunnels are now an integral part of the infrastructure in major cities around the world. For many reasons, these tunnels have horseshoe-shaped cross-sections with round top and flat bottom. This paper presents some improvements to the use of the Hyperstatic Reaction Method-HRM for analysing tunnels with horseshoe-shaped cross-sections when these tunnels operate under the influence of earthquakes, particularly in cases when the tunnel lining is a continuous lining. The analysis used parameters of a tunnel from the Hanoi metro system, as well as parameters of the strongest earthquake that may occur in the central Hanoi area in the improved HRM and 2 D numerical methods using the ABAQUs software. On the basis of the results obtained, the paper gives conclusions about the HRM methodology when it is used to calculate tunnels that have horseshoe cross-sections operating under the influence of earthquakes.

This work presents a formalized description of information and communicative interac- tions of individuals on the basis of the communicative field （CF） method. It also contains explication of the possibility to create model of information and communication inter- actions, which is able to illustrate both interactions between two and more individuals. Methods and approaches which are suggested in this paper can correctly simulate the processes of distortion and generation of information images （IIs） with information and communication social interaction. Expansion and addition of IIs theory in terms of the transmission of information between individuals allows us to speak about the space of IIs. This space helps to explain a number of characteristic phenomena of human thinking.

We study Jackson＇s inequality between the best approximation of a function f∈ L2（R^3） by entire functions of exponential spherical type and its generalized modulus of continuity. We prove Jackson＇s inequality with the exact constant and the optimal argument in the modulus of continuity. In particular, Jackson＇s inequality with the optimal parameters is obtained for classical modulus of continuity of order r and Thue-Morse modulus of continuity of order r∈ N. These results are based on the solution of the generalized Logan problem for entire functions of exponential type. For it we construct a new quadrature formulas for entire functions of exponential type.

Impact of air drought on photosynthesis efficiency of the siberian crabapple(Malus baccata L. Borkh.) in the forest-steppe zone of Transbaikalia, Russia

The adaption of photosynthesis, being a key metabolic process, plays an important role in plant resistance to air drought. In this study, the siberian crabapple(Malus baccata L. Borkh.) in the forest-steppe zone of Transbaikalia region, Russia, was subjected to air drought stress and its photosynthesis characteristics were analyzed. The results show that air drought and sufficient soil moisture supply lead to the decrease in the total chlorophyll(Chl) content, while the ratio of Chls to carotenoids is constant in the siberian crabapple tree. The function of photosystem II(Ps-II) in the crabapple trees is characterized by a decrease in the fraction of absorbed light energy spent on the photochemical work and an increase in the proportion of non-photosynthetic thermal quenching. These changes indicate the photosynthetic down-regulation that acts as a universal photoprotective mechanism. During the midday hours, the combination of high air temperature and low air humidity leads to the decrease in the maximum photochemical quantum yield of photosystem II(Fv/Fm) and the efficiency of photosynthesis(PABs). The parameters of leaf gas exchange show the significant differences in these values between the control and experimental variants. During the morning hours, the siberian crabapple, growing in the Irkutsk City,assimilates carbon dioxide more intensively. Due to the higher air humidity, the stomata are kept open and the necessary amount of carbon dioxide entries the sites of carboxylation. The low air humidity combined with wind in the experimental variants leads to the unreasonably high water loss in the crabapple leaves by more than 27% as compared to the control variant(Irkutsk City). However, water use efficiency in the morning hours increases during plant photosynthetic processes, i.e., 42% higher than that of control. This,apparently, is a reflection of the adaptation processes of the siberian crabapple to the air drought and parching wind.

The results of the study of raw mix preparation and foam glass-ceramics production using diatomite as a raw material were presented in the following article. A mixture of diatomite and 40% NaOH solution was subjected to heating at a constant temperature of 775 ℃. samples of foam glass-ceramic from diatomite with an average density of 290-580 kg/m^3, compressive strength of 1.7-7.8 MPa and thermal conductivity of 0.08-0.14 W/（m·K） were obtained. The investigations have shown that the hydrothermal pretreatment of mixture at the temperature of 90 ℃ may lead to the acceleration of the leaching of amorphous siO_2 from diatomite. It was discovered that the resulting soluble alkali silicates promote the process of foaming during heating and reduce the average density of the obtained samples. The optimal duration of the leaching process was estimated to be 30 minutes, which corresponds to the yield of siO_2 equal to 42.5% by the weight of dry diatomite.
