Objective: Pharmacopoeias regulate the manufacture of potentised pharmaceutical preparations used in different branches of complementary and integrative medicine. The physicochemical properties and biological activity of these preparations are often investigated in preclinical research, yet no guidelines for experimental research currently exist in this area. The present PrePoP guidelines aim to provide recommendations to promote high-quality, statistically sound, and reproducible preclinical research on potentised ***: Input was gathered from researchers nominated by the relevant scientific societies using a simplified Delphi consensus approach covering the most relevant aspects of basic research methodology in the field including appropriate controls, sample preparation and handling, and statistics. After three rounds of feedback, a consensus was finally reached on the most important aspects and considerations for conducting high-quality research on potentised ***: We present a series of recommendations on a range of topics including experimental controls,system stability, blinding and randomisation, environmental influences, and procedures for the preparation of potentised samples and controls, and we address some specific challenges of this research ***: This expert consensus process resulted in a robust set of methodological guidelines for research on potentised preparations and provides a valuable framework that will inform and improve the quality of subsequent research in this emerging field.

Introduction: Uterine leiomyomas, or fibroids, are prevalent benign tumors affecting up to 70% of reproductive-age women in the United States, significantly impacting productivity and quality of life. Despite their commonality, the epidemiology and clinical patterns of leiomyomas in Puerto rico remain inadequately researched. methods: This study conducted a secondary data analysis using clinical, menstrual cycle characteristics, and demographic data from self-administered questionnaires of women undergoing diagnostic laparoscopy for endometriosis in Puerto rico. Chi-square tests and t-tests analyzed categorical and continuous variables, respectively (p results: Among 1,610 endometriosis cases, 312 included uterine fibroids. Prevalence estimates were 10.3% (40 years). Primiparous women averaged 22.14 years, with 40.71% having 2 - 3 pregnancies and 26.28% experiencing miscarriages. Symptoms included infertility (29.5%), dyspareunia (40.7%), severe pain (50%), and dysmenorrhea (75.6%). Comorbidities included ovarian cysts (52.2%) and abnormal uterine bleeding (37.8%). Conclusions: Advanced age, parity, and comorbidities like diabetes and hypertension were prevalent in our cohort. Understanding the epidemiological profile of women living in Puerto rico with uterine fibroids is crucial for improving diagnostic awareness and enhancing patient care.

目的：绿原酸（CGA）是一种普遍存在于传统中药和食物中的多酚类化合物，包括金银花、杜仲叶、茶和咖啡。本文的目的是阐明绿原酸对心肌细胞铁死亡和心力衰竭的影响。方法：我们通过运用主动脉缩窄（TAC）诱导的心力衰竭小鼠模型，评估了绿原酸对心脏功能的影响，具体指标包括左室射血分数（LVEF）、分数缩短（LVFS）、舒张末期容积（LVEDV）、收缩末期容积（LVESV）、收缩末期直径（LVESD）和舒张末期直径（LVEDD）。同时建立了异丙肾上腺素（ISO）诱导的H9c2心肌细胞模型，并用不同浓度的绿原酸进行干预。为了评估绿原酸对心肌细胞铁死亡的影响，我们检测了细胞活性，并使用荧光染色评估了细胞内活性氧（rOS）、亚铁离子（Fe2+）和脂质过氧化物的水平。为了明确绿原酸调控铁死亡的信号通路，我们使用western blot检测了H9c2心肌细胞和小鼠心肌组织中铁死亡生物标志物的表达，如溶质载体家族7成员11(SLC7A11)和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶4(GPX4)。结果：绿原酸显著增强了小鼠心脏功能指标，如LVEF、LVFS、LVEDV、LVESV、LVESD和LVEDD。异丙肾上腺素诱导的H9c2心肌细胞显示出降低的细胞活性及升高的rOS水平、Fe2+含量和脂质过氧化水平，然而，绿原酸显著改善了这些变化。此外，在H9c2心肌细胞和TAC小鼠心肌组织中，绿原酸增加铁死亡相关的蛋白表达，如SLC7A11和GPX4。结论：绿原酸具有通过SLC7A11/GPX4信号通路增强心脏功能，减少心肌细胞中的脂质过氧化、rOS水平和心肌细胞铁死亡的作用。这些结果为绿原酸的临床应用和心力衰竭的治疗提供了新的见解。

A novel strategy of smart manipulation by micro-scale oscillatory networks of the reactionary zones for enhanced extreme thrust control of the next-generation solid propulsion systems

The main aim of this research is to get a better knowledge and understanding of the micro-scale oscillatory networks behavior in the solid propellants reactionary zones. Fundamental understanding of the micro-and nano-scale combustion mechanisms is essential to the development and further improvement of the next-generation technologies for extreme control of the solid propellant thrust. Both experiments and theory confirm that the micro-and nano-scale oscillatory networks excitation in the solid propellants reactionary zones is a rather universal phenomenon. In accordance with our concept,the micro-and nano-scale structures form both the fractal and self-organized wave patterns in the solid propellants reactionary zones. Control by the shape, the sizes and spacial orientation of the wave patterns allows manipulate by the energy exchange and release in the reactionary zones. A novel strategy for enhanced extreme thrust control in solid propulsion systems are based on manipulation by selforganization of the micro-and nano-scale oscillatory networks and self-organized patterns formation in the reactionary zones with use of the system of acoustic waves and electro-magnetic fields, generated by special kind of ring-shaped electric discharges along with resonance laser radiation. Application of special kind of the ring-shaped electric discharges demands the minimum expenses of energy and opens prospects for almost inertia-free control by combustion processes. nano-sized additives will enhance self-organizing and self-synchronization of the micro-and nano-scale oscillatory networks on the nanometer scale. Suggested novel strategy opens the door for completely new ways for enhanced extreme thrust control of the solid propulsion systems.

X-ray powder diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,thermogravimetry,differential scanning calorimetry,and mass spectrometry have been used to study the products of nickel-containing pyrrhotite tailings oxidation by oxygen in the *** kinetic triplets of oxidation,namely,activation energy(E_(a)),pre-exponential factor(A),and reaction model(f(α))being a function of the conversion degree(α),were adjusted by regression *** case of a two-stage process representation,the first step proceeds under autocatalysis control and ends atα=*** kinetic triplet in the first step is E_(a)=262.2 kJ/mol,lg A=14.53 s^(−1),and f(α)=(1-α)^(4.11)(1+1.51×10^(-4)α).For the second step,the process is controlled by the two-dimensional diffusion of the reactants in the layer of oxidation *** kinetic triplet in the second step isЕa=215.0 kJ/mol,lg A=10.28 s^(−1),and f(α)=(-ln(1-α))^(-1).The obtained empirical formulae for the rate of pyrrhotite tailings oxidation reliably describe the macro-mechanism of the process and can be used to design automatization systems for roast-ing these materials.
