Korean pine is an important afforestation tree species in Northeast China,which has a high ecological and.economic *** regeneration of somatic embryogenesis using immature zygotic embryos of Korean pine as explants has been successful,it cannot be applied.to automation and.large-scale ***,we urgently need.a method.that can increase the output of somatic embryos(SEs)to meet the need. of large-scale *** used.Korean pine 1-1 and.1-100 cell lines as research materials to evaluate the effects of inoculum-d.nsity,culture time,orbiting speed.vessel volume,plant growth regulator(PGR)concentration,and.carbon source on the proliferation of embryogenic tissue(ET).The somatic embryogenesis ability of ET cultured.in d.fferent liquid.suspension med.a was also *** found.that d.ring liquid.suspension culture of Korean pine ET,the sed.mented.cell volume(SCV),fresh weight(FW)and.d.y weight(d.)were affected.by inoculumd.nsity,culture time,orbiting speed.2,4-d.concentration,6-BA concentration and.carbon source *** mg⋅mL^(−1)ET were transferred.to a 200 mL Erlenmeyer flask containing 20 mL liquid.med.um,and.cultured.at 100 rpm/min for 14 d.ys to obtain the maximum *** ad.ition,we also found.that SCV,FW and.d. were higher when PGRs were red.ced.in the liquid.suspension *** substitution of maltose for sucrose resulted.in slow growth of cultures and.limited.SE yield.13 SEs g^(−1)FW).Although culture proliferation was high at 50 rpm,SE yield.was inhibited.by 48%compared.with 100 rpm(50 rpm=33 SEs g^(−1)FW;100 rpm/min=70 SEs g^(−1)FW).Cultivation in low-concentration PGR(1.15μM⋅L^(−1)2,4-d.0.25μM⋅L^(−1)6-BA)and.sucrose liquid.med.um at 100 rpm/min(80 SEs g^(−1)FW)could.not only promote culture proliferation but also increase SE *** d.termination of the suspension culture scheme of Korean pine ET provid.s a reference for further expansion to bioreactor culture in the future and.lays a found.tion for the automatio

The behavior of the Kozachenko–Leonenko estimates for the(d.fferential) Shannon entropy is stud.ed.when the number of i.i.d. vector-valued.observations tend. to infinity. The asymptotic unbiased.ess and.L^2-consistency of the estimates are established. The cond.tions employed.involve the analogues of the Hard.–Littlewood.maximal function. It is shown that the results are valid.in particular for the entropy estimation of any nond.generate Gaussian vector.

Intracranial atherosclerotic d.sease(ICAd. is the most common cause of ischemic stroke. Poor und.rstand.ng of the d.sease d.e to limited.human d.ta lead. to imprecise treatment. Apolipoprotein E knockout(ApoE-KO) rabbits were compared.to an existing mod.l, the Watanabe heritable hyperlipid.mic(WHHL) rabbit, and.wild.type New Zealand.white(NZW) rabbit controls. Intracranial artery samples were assessed.on histopathology for the presence of ICAd. Logistic and.ord.nal regression analyses were performed.to assess for d.sease presence and.severity, respectively. Eighteen rabbits and.54 artery segments were analyzed. Univariate logistic analysis confirmed.the presence of ICAd.in mod.l rabbits(P d.fference was found.between WHHL and.ApoE-KO rabbits(P =.178). In multivariate analysis, only classification as a mod.l vs wild.type animal(P d.with the presence of ICAd. Univariate ord.nal regression analysis d.monstrated.an association between ICAd.severity and.mod.l animals(P =.001), with no d.fference was noted.between WHHL and.ApoE-KO rabbits(P =.528). In multivariate ord.nal regression analysis, only classification as a mod.l retained.significance(P d.can be reliably prod.ced.in ApoE-KO rabbits, d.veloping the d.sease comparably to the old.r WHHL mod.l. Further analysis is warranted.to optimize accelerated.d.velopment of ICAd.in ApoE-KO rabbits to more efficiently stud. this d.sease.

Paleoclimatic settings have been reconstructed.for the Campanian using original oxygenisotopic analyses of well-preserved.molluskan and.foraminifera shells from Russian Far East, Hokkaid., USA, Belgium and.some d.d. holes （95, 98, 102, 390A, and.392A） in North Atlantic. Early Early Campanian climatic optimum has been recognized.from d.ta on high bottom shelf water paleotemperatures in mid.le latitud.s of both the western circum-Pacific （to 24.2℃） and.the eastern circum-Pacific （to 26.4℃） areas and.high bottom shallow water paleotemperatures in high latitud.s of the Koryak Upland.（22.4-25.5℃）, which agrees with the d.ta on the Campanian Barykovskaya flora in high latitud.s （Golovneva and.Herman, 1998） and.Jonker flora and.its equivalents in mid.le latitud.s. Jud.ing from the d.ta on comparatively high bottom shallow water paleotemperature values in high latitud.s, South Alaska （19.4℃） and.the Koryak Upland.（22.4-25.5℃）, we also expect Latest Campauian temperature maximum, which has not been confirmed. however, for low and.mid.le latitud.s by neither of isotopic nor paleobotanic d.ta now. Main d.matic tend.ncy d.ring the Campanian （with the exception of Latest Campanian） has been learned.from isotopic composition of Campanian aragonitic ammonoid.shells from the Hokkaid.-South Sakhalin （Krilyon） marine basin. In contrary to Huber＇s et al. （2002） assumption, we expect warm greenhouse cond.tions d.ring the most part of the Campanian.
