Dear Editor,Aquareovirus(ARV,Reoviridae)causes h.morrh.gic disease in th. economically important golden sh.ner and grass carp of America and Ch.na,respectively(Nason et al.,2000;Fang et al.,2005).Reoviridae members are ch.racterized by endogenous transcription of th.ir multipartite genomes with.n capsids of 1-3 layers and are furth.r classified based on th. presence(Spinareovirinae subfamily,9 genera)or absence(Sedoreovirinae subfamily,6 genera)of mRNA-capping turrets along th. innermost layer(King et al.,2012).

Th. purpose of th. research.is to develop a universal algorith. for partial texture segmentation of any visual images. Th. main peculiarity of th. proposed segmentation procedure is th. extraction of only h.mogeneous fine-grained texture segments present in th. images. At first, an initial seed point is found for th. largest and most h.mogeneous segment of th. image. Th.s initial seed point of th. segment is expanded using a region growing meth.d. Oth.r texture segments of th. image are extracted analogously in turn. At th. second stage, th. procedure of merging th. extracted segments belonging to th. same texture class is performed. Th.n, th. detected texture segments are input to a neural network with.competitive layers wh.ch.accomplish.s more accurate delineation of the shapes of the extracted texture segments. The proposed segmentation procedure is fully unsupervised, i.e., it does not use any a priori knowledge on eith.r th. type of textures or th. number of texture segments in th. image. Th. research.results in development of th. segmentation algorith. realized as a computer program tested in a series of experiments th.t demonstrate its efficiency on grayscale natural scenes.

Th. design of space-efficient support h.rdware for built-in self-testing is of great significance in very large scale integration circuits and systems, particularly in view of th. paradigm sh.ft in recent times from system-on-board to system-on-ch.p tech.ology. Th. subject paper proposes a new approach.to designing aliasing-free or zero-aliasing space compaction h.rdware targeting specifically embedded cores-based system-on-ch.ps for single stuck-line faults extending well-known concept from conventional switch.ng th.ory, viz. th.t of compatibility relation as used in th. minimization of incomplete sequential mach.nes. For a pair of response outputs of th. circuit under test, th. meth.d introduces th. notion of fault detection compatibility and conditional fault detection compatibility （conditional upon some oth.r response output pair being simultaneously fault detection compatible） with.respect to two-input XOR/XNOR logic. Th. process is illustrated with.design details of space compressors for th. International Symposium on Circuits and Systems or ISCAS 85 combinational and ISCAS 89 full-scan sequential bench.ark circuits using simulation programs ATALANTA and FSIM, attesting to th. usefulness of th. tech.ique for its relative simplicity, resultant low area overh.ad and full fault coverage for single stuck-line faults, th.s making it suitable in commercial design environments.

A Discrete Global Grid System(DGGS)is a type of spatial reference system th.t tessellates th. globe into many individual,evenly spaced,and well-aligned cells to encode location and,th.s,can serve as a basis for data cube *** facilitates integration and aggregation of multi-resolution data from various sources to rapidly calculate spatial *** calculated normalized area and compactness for cell geometries from 5 open-source DGGS implementations-Uber h.,Google S2,RiskAware OpenEAGGR,rh.ALPix by Landcare Research.New Zealand,and DGGRID by South.rn Oregon University-to evaluate th.ir suitability for a global-level statistical data *** conclude th.t th. rh.ALPix and OpenEAGGR and DGGRID ISEA-based DGGS definitions are most suitable for global statistics because th.y h.ve th. strongest guarantee of equal area preservation-wh.re each.cell covers almost exactly th. same area on th. *** h. h.s th. smallest sh.pe distortions,but Uber h. and Google S2 h.ve th. largest variations in cell ***,th.y provide more mature software library *** provides excellent functionality to construct grids with.desired geometric properties but as th. only implementation does not provide functions for traversal and navigation with.n a grid after its construction.
