Data-driven nonlinear control of a solid oxide fuel cell system

Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are considered to be one of the most important clean,distributed resources. However,SOFCs present a challenging control problem owing to their slow dynamics,nonlinearity and tight operating constraints. A novel data-driven nonlinear control strategy was proposed to solve the SOFC control problem by combining a virtual reference feedback tuning (VRFT) method and support vector machine. In order to fulfill the requirement for fuel utilization and control constraints,a dynamic constraints unit and an anti-windup scheme were adopted. In addition,a feedforward loop was designed to deal with the current disturbance. Detailed simulations demonstrate that the fast response of fuel flow for the current demand disturbance and zero steady error of the output voltage are both achieved. Meanwhile,fuel utilization is kept almost within the safe region.

In the past two decades, organic solar cells （OSCs） have at- tracted significant attention owing to their merits of achieving light-weight, flexible, low-cost devices [1,2]. Ternary OSC as an efficient way to improve the power conversion efficiencies （PCEs） of OSCs has inspired great interest from researchers to investigate ternary OSCs and result in many efficient de- vices. Ternary OSCs allow collecting high- and low-energy photons by separated semiconductors in a single active layer to minimize the thermalization loss and broaden absorption range to improve the performance of OSCs. However, most reported ternary OSCs only have active layer of about 100 nm in thickness.

A new excess Gibbs free energy/equation of state type mixing 0rule was derived byremoving the infinite pressure boundary condition imposed by Wong and *** mixing rulewas extensively tested in terms of a comprehensive data base,consisting of 52 simple nonpolar-nonpolar,carbon dioxide containing,hydrocarbon-hydrocarbon,CFC,polar-polar,nonpolar-polarbinary and multicomponent *** on the complete predictive capability,a comparisonbetween the Wong-Sandler and the mixing rule proposed was *** results indicate that thenew mixing rule is in general superior to the Wong-Sandler’s,and the binary interaction parameteras required by the latter is removed,which reduces computing effort and is reliable in predictions ofvapor-liquid equilibria from low pressures to high pressures.

During the first welding process in manufacturing a precise seam container, the steel material must first undergo a full annealing treatment. Multilayer welding operations are conducted and then applied with refining treatment to obtain the goal by hardening. The influence of thermal refining on mechanical properties of annealed SAE 4130 by multilayer GTAW （gas tungsten arc welding） was discussed. The AW （annealing＋welding） and AWST （annealing＋welding＋solution＋tempering） occurred with a minimum hardness value at GGHAZ （grain growth heat affected zone） due to coarse grain growth~ the hardness occurred with sudden drops between the multilayer welding, but was still larger than the minimum value at HAZ （heat affected zone）. The welded joint efficiency of the AWST was 89.9%, with the elongation reduced to 77.2% of AST （annealing＋solution＋tempering）. The cross section of the tensile samples both appeared with a uniform dimple-shaped structure, and however the necking for AST was greater than that for AWST. The impact value for AWST was 166.5% of AST. Moreover, from microstructure observations, it was found that AWST had a greater tendency to ductile failure than AST. These results can be inferred., the process of steady pressure and the initial position of the precision tube breakage HAZ. However, when stress occurs instantly, HAZ can absorb more energy, therefore the initial damage does not occur.

Photovoltaics, as a green technology for converting solar energy into electricity, have shown great promise to address the energy and environmental challenges for the sustainability of human society. In recent years, two types of photovoltaics, consisting of organic semiconductors or perovskites as light absorbers, have experienced a rapid development. The development of organic solar cells (OSC) can be dated back to 1986, since the discovery of a bi layer OSC by Di. C. W. Tang. Nowadays, OSCs made with polymer donors and small molecule acceptors have surpassed power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of 16% for single-junction and 17% for tandem devices, through integrated innovative efforts on materials, interfaces, and device architectures.

Development of the telencephalon relies upon several signaling centers-localized cellular populations that supply secreted factors to pattern the cortical *** such signaling center is the cortical hem,which arises during embryonic development at the telencephalic dorsal midline,adjacent to the choroid plexus and hippocampal primordium(Figure 1A).While the cortical hem has also been described in reptiles and birds,most of our knowledge about the developmental roles of the cortical hem is derived from the analysis in *** cortical hem produces several types of secreted molecules,including wingless-related integration site(Wnt)and bone morphogenetic(Bmp)*** cortical hem is particularly important for the development of the hippocampus,which is involved in learning and memory,and the neocortex,which is the most complex brain region that mediates multiple types of behavior and higher cognitive functions(Mangale et al.,2008;Dal-Valle-Anton and Borrell,2022).

Organic photovoltaics(OPVs)represent one of the most promising photovoltaic technologies owing to their high capacity to convert solar energy to *** the continuous structure upgradation of photovoltaic materials,especially that of non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs),the OPV field has witnessed rapid progress with power conversion efficiency(PCE)exceeding 19%.However,it remains challenging to overcome the intrinsic trade-off between the photocurrent and photovoltage,restricting the further promotion of the OPV *** this regard,it is urgent to further tailor the structure of NFAs to broaden their absorption spectra while mitigating the energy loss of relevant devices *** substitution on the fused-ringπ-core of NFAs is an efficient way to achieve this *** addition to improve the nearinfrared light harvest by strengthening the intramolecular charge transfer,it can also enhance the molecular stacking via forming multiple noncovalent interactions,which is favorable for reducing the energetic ***,in this review we focus on the design rules of NFAs,including the polymerized NFAs,of which the core moiety is substituted by various kinds of *** also afford a comprehensive understanding on the structure–propertyperformance relationships of these ***,we anticipate the challenges restricting the efficiency promotion and industrial utilization of OPV,and provide potential solutions based on the further heteroatom optimization on NFA core-moiety.
