Free-Standing α-MoO_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene Hybrid Electrode in Water-in-Salt Electrolytes

While transition-metal oxides such as α-MoO_(3)provide high capacity,their use is limited by modest electronic conductivity and electrochemical instability in aqueous ***-dimensional(2d)MXenes,offer metallic conductivity,but their capacitance is limited in aqueous *** of partially solvated cations into Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene from lithium-based water-in-salt(WIS)electrolytes enables charge storage at positive potentials,allowing a wider potential window and higher ***,we demonstrate that α-MoO_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2)hybrids combine the high capacity of α-MoO_(3)and conductivity of Ti_(3)C_(2)in WIS(19.8 m LiCI)electrolyte in a wide1.8 V voltage *** voltammograms reveal multiple redox peaks from α-MoO_(3)in addition to the well-separated peaks of Ti_(3)C_(2)in the hybrid *** leads to a higher specific charge and a higher rate capability compared to a carbon and binder containing α-MoO_(3)*** results demonstrate that the addition of MXene to less conductive oxides eliminates the need for conductive carbon additives and binders,leads to a larger amount of charge stored,and increases redox capacity at higher *** addition,MXene encapsulated α-MoO_(3)showed improved electrochemical stability,which was attributed to the suppressed dissolution of α-MoO_(3).The work suggests that oxide/MXene hybrids are promising for energy storage.

AIM:To investigate the therapeutic effect of Schistosoma mansoni(***) soluble worm proteins on gastrointestinal motility disturbances during experimental colitis in mice. METHOdS:Colitis was induced by intrarectal injection of trinitrobenzene sulphate(TNBS) and 6 h later,mice were treated ip with *** *** were performed 5 d after TNBS *** quantified using validated inflammation parameters. Gastric emptying and geometric center were measured to assess in vivo gastrointestinal *** activity of distal colonic segments was studied in vitro using a modified Trendelenburg *** profiles of T-lymphocytes isolated from the colon were determined by real time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. CONCLUSION:Treatment with *** proteins attenuated intestinal inflammation and ameliorated motility disturbances during murine experimental colitis.

Comprehensive CeMgA111O19： Tb3＋（CTMA） disintegration via alkaline fusion was discussed. The rare earth （RE） elements in CTMA were dissolved by HC1 completely after alkaline fusion. Relationships between the alkaline fusion temperature and various properties of the compounds were examined by various techniques to elu- cidate their roles in the expected CTMA disintegration. X-ray diffraction （XRd） analysis indicates the phase transformation sequence. A scientific hypothesis of crystal structure disintegration presents that sodium ions substitute for the europium and barium ions in the mirror plane and magnesium ions in the spinel block successively, resulting in that more oxygen vacancies and interstitial sodium ions appear. The unit cell [P63/mmc （194）] breaks from the mirror plane. Then it is decomposed into NaA102, and magnesium, cerium, and terbium ions combine with free OH- into MgO, Tb2O3 and CeO2; Tb2O3 and CeO2 change into Ceo.6Tbo.O2-x. In the end, the rare earth oxide is recycled easily by the acidolysis. The mechanism provides fundamental basis for recycling of REEs from waste phosphors.

Internal solitary wave propagation over a submarine ridge results in energy dissipation, in which the hydrodynamic interaction between a wave and ridge affects marine environment. This study analyzes the effects of ridge height and potential energy during wave-ridge interaction with a binary and cumulative logistic regression model. In testing the Global Null Hypothesis, all values are p 〈0.001, with three statistical methods, such as Likelihood Ratio, Score, and Wald. While comparing with two kinds of models, tests values obtained by cumulative logistic regression models are better than those by binary logistic regression models. Although this study employed cumulative logistic regression model, three probability functions p^1, p^2 and p^3, are utilized for investigating the weighted influence of factors on wave reflection. deviance and Pearson tests are applied to cheek the goodness-of-fit of the proposed model. The analytical results demonstrated that both ridge height （X1 ） and potential energy （X2 ） significantly impact （p 〈 0. 0001 ） the amplitude-based refleeted rate; the P-values for the deviance and Pearson are all 〉 0.05 （0.2839, 0.3438, respectively）. That is, the goodness-of-fit between ridge height （ X1 ） and potential energy （X2） can further predict parameters under the scenario of the best parsimonious model. Investigation of 6 predictive powers （ R2, Max-rescaled R^2, Sorners＇ d, Gamma, Tau-a, and c, respectively） indicate that these predictive estimates of the proposed model have better predictive ability than ridge height alone, and are very similar to the interaction of ridge height and potential energy. It can be concluded that the goodness-of-fit and prediction ability of the cumulative logistic regression model are better than that of the binary logistic regression model.

Simultaneously integrating heterogeneous interface,element doping,and metal decorating was a promising strategy to promote the visible-light-driven photocatalytic ***,we demonstrated a facile solvothermal route for Ni-doped BiOBr/Bi^(0) with ZnO 3d hierarchical heterojunction(denoted as Z@B/BiNi).The optimal photocatalysts of Z@B/Bi-Ni sample presented a remarkable catalytic performance of high concentrations of tetracycline solution(40 mg/L)than those of the Z@B/Bi,Z@B,BOB and ZnO photocatalysts toward the visible-light-driven *** enhanced photocatalytic mechanism can be proposed as follows:(ⅰ)3d hierarchical heterojunction provided more active sites and accelerated the separation of charge carriers for photocatalytic TC;(ⅱ)formation of oxygen vacancies on the surface over Z@B/Bi-Ni by in-situ reduction of Bi^(0) and Ni doping could serve as the active sites for oxygen activation to adsorb free O_(2) and generate more superoxide radicals;(ⅲ)SPR effect of Bi metal were beneficial to carrier separation and also act as the active site to trap O_(2) *** work clarified the role of unique morphologies,surface plasmonic resonance(SPR)effect of metal Bi,and Ni doping in Z@B/Bi-Ni,and its photocatalytic reaction mechanism was proposed by a series of experiments,characterization and dFT calculations,arousing a new perspective to design hierarchical heterojunction photocatalysts.

A near-diffraction-limited green source is generated at 1 kHz repetition rate by frequency doubling of a diode stack end-pumped electro-optically Q-switched Nd：YAG slab laser. We obtain 9. 7mJ green light with pulse width of 12.2ns at a repetition rates of i kHz. The pump to green optical conversion efficiency is 12.9%. The energy pulse stability at 532nm is about 0.8%.
