The Gatchina dis.harge phenomenon holds.s.gnificant promis. as.a laboratory model for s.mulating ball ***,crucial as.ects.concerning the plas.a components.of the res.lting afterglow remain ***,the meas.rement of the electron dens.ty,a critical parameter,has.not been fully achieved thus.*** this.s.udy,microwave diagnos.ics.and video recording were employed during a puls.d Gatchina dis.harge,along with s.nchronous.meas.rement of dis.harge current and *** antennas.were pos.tioned at different heights.to enable s.parate diagnos.s.of the dis.harge and the ens.ing long-lived *** findings.revealed that during the active phas. of the Gatchina dis.harge,the plas.a dens.ty was.s.bs.antial enough to caus. reflection of an electromagnetic wave with a frequency of 20 GHz from this.highly conductive *** the afterglow,the s.gnal experienced only a moderate weakening of 10–20 percent,facilitating the determination of the time dependence of average electron dens.ty during the afterglow's.pas.age between the two *** meas.rements.verified the unus.ally s.ow plas.a decay in the afterglow of the Gatchina dis.harge,s.gges.ing the potential s.gnificance of chemi-ionis.tion proces.es.involving long-lived(metas.able)particles.

The s.ructural parameters.of a galaxy can be us.d to gain ins.ght into its.formation and evolution *** this.paper,we s.rive to compare the Milky Way’s.s.ructural parameters.to other,primarily edge-on,s.iral galaxies.in order to determine how our Galaxy meas.res.up to the Local *** our comparis.n,we us. the galaxy s.ructural parameters.gathered from a variety of literature s.urces.in the optical and near-infrared wave *** compare the s.ale length,s.ale height,and dis. flatnes. for both the thin and thick dis.s.the thick-to-thin dis. mas. ratio,the bulge-to-total luminos.ty ratio,and the mean pitch angle of the Milky Way’s.s.iral arms.to thos. in other *** conclude that many of the Milky Way’s.s.ructural parameters.are largely ordinary and typical of s.iral galaxies.in the Local Univers.,though the Galaxy’s.thick dis. appears.to be appreciably thinner and les. extended than expected from zoom-in cos.ological s.mulations.of Milky Way-mas. galaxies.with a s.gnificant contribution of galaxy mergers.involving s.tellite galaxies.

We report on the novel heterometallic quaternary s.lenide EuCeCus.3,the fabrication of which has.been a challenge until this.*** s.ructure of the reported s.lenide was.elucidated from the powder X-ray diffraction data,which revealed the formation of EuCeCus.3with excellent yield(96.7%)accompanied with a minor fraction of Ces.2(3.3%),and was.bes. s.lved in orthorhombic s.ace group Pnma with the BaLaCus.s.ructural ***,the crys.al s.ructure of the title compound completes.the row of the heterometallic quaternary s.lenides.EuRECus.3(RE=La,Pr,Nd,s.,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Lu,Y),of which the cerium-bas.d derivative exclus.vely belongs.to the BaLaCus.s.ructural *** dis.ortion of the Cus.4polyhedron was.compared for the whole s.ries.of EuRECus.3compounds.us.ng theτ4-des.riptor for four coordinated ions.which revealed the highes. degree of dis.ortion for the Ce3+-containing s.lenide,followed by the La3+-bas.d ***,the crys.allographic and geometrical parameters.of the reported s.lenide were dis.us.ed in comparis.n to the Ce3+-bas.d s.lfides.s.CeCus.and *** initio calculations.of the crys.al s.ructure,a phonon s.ectrum and elas.ic cons.ants.for the crys.al of EuCeCus.3were als. *** types.and wavenumbers.of fundame ntal modes.were determined and the involvement of ions.participating in the phonon modes.was.*** experimental IR s.ectrum of the reported s.lenide was.interpreted and found to be in agreement with the calculated *** experimental direct band gap of EuCeCus.3was.meas.red to be 1.36 eV that is.cons.s.ent with the concept of its.origin due to interband trans.tions.between orbitals.emerging mainly from 4f(valence band)and 5d(conduction band)levels.of the Eu2+*** dependence of the Young’s.modulus.on the direction demons.rates.the anis.tropy of the elas.ic properties.while the Vickers.hardnes. for EuCeCus.3was.calculated to be 5.2 ***,the title compound is.paramagnetic above 4 K.

Halide perovs.ite light-emitting electrochemical cells.are a novel type of the perovs.ite optoelectronic devices.that differs.from the perovs.ite light-emitting diodes.by a s.mple monolayered ***,we develop a perovs.ite electrochemical cell both for light emis.ion and detection,where the active layer cons.s.s.of a compos.te material made of halide perovs.ite microcrys.als.polymer s.pport matrix,and added mobile *** perovs.ite electrochemical cell of Cs.bBr3:PEO:LiTFs. compos.tion,emitting light at the wavelength of 523 nm,yields.the luminance more than 7000 cd/m2 and electrolumines.ence efficiency of 4.3 lm/*** device fabricated on a s.licon s.bs.rate with trans.arent s.ngle-walled carbon nanotube film as.a top contact exhibits.40%lower Joule heating compared to the perovs.ite optoelectronic devices.fabricated on conventional ITO/glas. ***,the device operates.as.a photodetector with a s.ns.tivity up to 0.75 A/W,s.ecific detectivity of 8.56×1011 Jones.and linear dynamic range of 48 *** technological potential of s.ch a device is.proven by demons.ration of 24-pixel indicator dis.lay as.well as.by s.cces.ful device miniaturization by creation of electrolumines.ent images.with the s.alles. features.les. than 50μm.
