This paper seeks to explore some of the security and conflict dimensions of the China-Africa relationship, illustrating what the challenges are, why they are important and what has been done to meet them. Section one provides a brief overview of the different manifestations of conflict and insecurity on the African continent, highlighting that Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) proliferation is a problem that links them all. Section two explores the reasons why China has a stake in the peace and security of African countries. The third section outlines some of the commitments made by China to helping African countries address their security challenges, and assesses the degree to which these pledges have been implemented. The paper concludes that the issue of SALW proliferation still requires further action, both by China and its African partners on the continent and by all global actors through international cooperation.

BACKGROUnD Bipolar disorder(BD)is a severe psychiatric disorder characterized by mood *** interventions,such as psychoeducation,play an essential role in promoting social rehabilitation and improving pharmacological *** To investigate the role of psychoeducation in *** A systematic review of original studies regarding psychoeducation interventions in patients with BD and their relatives was developed.A systematic literature search was performed using the Medline,Scopus,and Lilacs *** review articles or qualitative studies were included in the *** were no date restriction criteria,and studies published up to April 2021 were *** A total of forty-seven studies were selected for this ***-eight studies included patients,and nine included family *** of patients and family members was associated with a lower number of new mood episodes and a reduction in number and length of stay of *** interventions with patients are associated with improved adherence to drug *** strategies studied in patients and family members do not interfere with the severity of symptoms of mania or depression or with the patient's quality of life or *** interventions with family members do not alter patients'adherence to *** Psychoeducation as an adjunct strategy to pharmacotherapy in the treatment of BD leads to a reduction in the frequency of new mood episodes,length of hospital stay and adherence to drug therapy.

We consider a time series following a simple linear regression with first-order autoregressive errors belonging to the class of heavy-tailed distributions. The proposed model provides a useful generalization of the symmetrical linear regression models with independent error, since the error distribution covers both correlated innovations following a Generalized Exponential distribution. Furthermore, we derive the modified maximum likelihood (MML) estimators as an efficient alternative for estimating model parameters. Finally, we investigate the asymptotic properties of the proposed estimators. Our findings are also illustrated through a simulation study.

A 62 years old, post-menopausal female was admitted to the Internal Medicine Ward due to dyspnoea, cough and sputum of at least 2 months. Shortness of breath, cough and hypoxaemia persisted and the patient was submitted to a pulmonary angiogram ct which revealed numerous thin-walled air cysts affecting upper and medial zones of both lungs, typical images of pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis. After discharge to Internal Medicine Consultation Service with Metilprednisolone, the patient was no longer hypoxaemic and remained asymptomatic, even after withdrawal of oral corticosteroid to inhalatory formulation. Further surveillance in short time was scheduled in order to implement rapid imunossupressive treatment when necessary.

Web技术的应用是由Web服务器的执行软件应用中的一种,主要用于通过HTTP协议响应动态网页请求,目前也已经成为各种服务供应商和客户一个最重要的沟通渠道。因此, Web技术应用成为众多攻击者感兴趣的目标之一。研究人员已经发现24种用于公司,客户,政府机构和其他机构的网络攻击。当前,两种最常见的Web应用程序漏洞是众所周知的跨站点脚本( XSS )和Injection Flaw( SQL注入)。很多工具已经用来减轻和解决上述Web应用的漏洞。本研究应用了一种Web应用程序漏洞评估工具WAVA。它是一种用于辨别黑客有可能利用未经授权访问系统和数据的Web安全漏洞,并自动评估Web应用程序脆弱性的工具。WAVA可以动态分析Web应用程序,搜索包括跨站脚本和SQL注入的漏洞,同时扫描Web应用安全漏洞,并以针对所确定的主题进行渗透测试。建议,以减轻web安全问题解决在分析将提供试图消除或尽量减少网络服务器和应用程序漏洞,从而增加他们的安全。

The study of corneal biomechanics in vivo has been evolving fast in recent *** an organised corneal structure is necessary for its transparency,resistance to occasional external insults and bearing the intraocular pressure(IOP),which several clinically relevant events can *** review focuses on three techniques that are available for clinical use,namely the Ocular Response Analyzer(Reichert Ophthalmic Instruments,Buffalo,nY,USA),the Corvis ST(Oculus Optikgerate GmbH,Wetzlar,Germany)and the Brillouin Optical Scattering System(Intelon Optics Inc.,Lexington,MA,USA).The principles and the main parameters of each device are discussed along with their strategies to improve accuracy in the IOP measurement,corneal ectasia diagnosis,evaluation of corneal cross-linking procedures,and planning of corneal refractive surgeries.

Cisternostomy is defined as opening the basal cisterns to atmospheric pressure. This technique helps to reduce the intracranial pressure in severe head trauma as well as other conditions when the so-called sudden ＂brain swelling＂ troubles the surgeon. We elaborated the surgical anatomy of this procedure as well as the proposed physiology of how cisternostomy works. This novel technique may change the current trends in neurosurgery.

In recent years,growing awareness of the role of oxidative stress in brain health has prompted antioxidants,especially dietary antioxidants,to receive growing attention as possible treatments strategies for patients with neurodegenerative diseases(nDs).The most widely studied dietary antioxidants include active substances such as vitamins,carotenoids,flavonoids and *** antioxidants are found in usually consumed foods such as fresh fruits,vegetables,nuts and oils and are gaining popularity due to recently growing awareness of their potential for preventive and protective agents against nDs,as well as their abundant natural sources,generally non-toxic nature,and ease of long-term *** review article examines the role of oxidative stress in the development of nDs,explores the‘two-sidedness’of the blood-brain barrier(BBB)as a protective barrier to the nervous system and an impeding barrier to the use of antioxidants as drug medicinal products and/or dietary antioxidants supplements for prevention and therapy and reviews the BBB permeability of common dietary antioxidant suplements and their potential efficacy in the prevention and treatment of ***,current challenges and future directions for the prevention and treatment of nDs using dietary antioxidants are discussed,and useful information on the prevention and treatment of nDs is provided.
