The paper aims to analyze the way in which international news is rather shaped by journalists and mass-media per se and affected by national level factors than by real world events or the activities of political *** is a lack of empirical theories and studies regarding external *** study’s purpose is to fill in this void,at least partly,by means of comparative analysis of international conflicts news coverage in Romanian *** news coverage plays an important role in building a foreign country’s image and translating foreign cultures in their countries of ***-media should have a significant influence on external news perception,given the fact that the national audience is usually distant towards international events and relies upon national media *** the majority of mass-media are still focused on national audience,these will accentuate the conflicts perspective with the risk of answering national *** empirical studies show that the conflict perspective is dominant,with an accent on“domestic”news and strong accent on elite political *** leads to external news“decontextualization”.It claims that during crises and times of conflict,the journalists have moved the emphasis on citizens and individual actors,increasing the international events news coverage with soft *** 1,000 articles regarding the Ukraine,Turkey,and Catalonia conflicts were analyzed during research and the results showed that the attention given by the mass-media had been strongly influenced by national policies.

AIM To identify risk factors for clinically relevant complications after spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy(SPDP). No previous studies explored potential predictors of morbidity after *** The data of 41 patients who underwent a SPDP in a single surgical center between 2000 and 2015 were retrospectively reviewed from a prospectively maintained electronic database established in our Department of Surgery. The database included demographic, clinical, bioumoral, pathological, intraoperative and postoperative parameters. Uni-and multivariate ana-lyses were performed to assess potential predictors of clinically relevant morbidity. Postoperative morbidity was defined as in-hospital complications and mortality was assessed at 90 d. Clinically relevant morbidity was defined as complication ≥ grade 2 *** Overall morbidity rate was 34.1%(14 patients): grade Ⅰ(6 patients, 14.6%), grade Ⅱ(2 patients, 4.8%), grade Ⅲa(1 patient, 2.4%), and grade Ⅲb(5 patients, 12.2%). A number of 5 patients(12.2%) required re-laparotomy for postoperative complications. There was no postoperative mortality. Thus, at least one clinically relevant complication occurred in 8 patients(19.5%). Univariate analysis identified male gender(P = 0.034), increased body mass index(P = 0.002) and neuroendocrine pathology(P = 0.013) as statistically significant risk factors. Multivariate analysis identified male gender [odds ratio(OR): 1.29, 95%CI: 1.07-1.55, P = 0.005] and increased body mass index(OR: 23.18, 95%CI: 1.72-310.96, P = 0.018) as the only independent risk factors of clinically relevant morbidity after *** Male gender and increased body mass index are independently associated with increased risk of clinically relevant morbidity after SPDP. These findings may assist a surgeon in clinical decision-making to better select patients suitable for SPDP.

Plastic and polymer additives (PA) have unique rational advantages for various water and food packaging applications. However, their (bio)chemical natures are recently recognized for their negative human health impacts. The major adverse consequence of these additives in consumer products is in the form of endocrine-disruption related health-downgrades. Such findings still remain underappreciated in most parts globally;part of which could be ascribed to fragmented studies towards better understanding on the occurrence, release and migration, human exposure, epidemiology and risk assessment of PA from packaging materials. In addition there is limited and disconnected dissemination of research findings on PA effects and mitigation measures to society at present. In light of appropriateness of this topic, a trans-disciplinary research agenda is required for addressing exposure routes to PA, human health burden and prevention measures. This perspective article discusses important research questions relating to PA, which try to shed light to a grey scientific area and help increase consumers’ awareness and intervention to such exposures.

Background:Accumulating evidence suggests that sports participation promotes the development of inhibitory control,but the influences of the sports category and inhibition type still remain *** categorization of sports based on the open-skill(externally paced)and closed-skill(self-paced)continuum allows for the integration of the environment as a factor contributing to sports-related benefits for inhibitory ***:Cross-sectional data from different studies were combined(n=184)to examine the association between open-and closed-skill sports and cognitive control processes related to interference control and response ***(aged 9-14 years)filled in 7-day physical activity recall protocols and completed a Stroop Color-Word or a Go/NoGo *** N200,N450,and P300 components of event-related potentials elicited by these tasks were recorded using ***:Partial correlations supported the belief that time spent in open-skill sports was related to higher performance on inhibition ***,path analyses revealed an association between this sports type and a greater negativity in the N200 and N450 amplitudes in both the full sample and group-level *** contrast,no relation was found between sports type and P300 ***:The findings suggest that only the engagement in open-skill sports is associated with more effective conflict monitoring and higher performance on tasks demanding inhibitory control.

The duty of educators and politicians is to find new policies and programs that should include creative industries such as designing, together with the teaching of new technologies to make it possible for a greater portion of the population to have access to this knowledge, which will enable it to be included in the job market. This type of training also means that the language of the educators will change .We need to develop a new multilinguistic, multimedia, and multidisciplinary conception oriented towards the learning activities of the student. Our goals is to transform multimedia design into an important creative industry in our region, we created ＂Project Untitled＂ at Universidad Maimonides. This is an artistic collective undertaking that includes teachers, directors, and students of the School of Multimedia Communication and Design. The goal of this project is to cooperate with learning paradigms in order to reach the quality that a true society of knowledge needs. Education is fundamental for the development of any nation, including the ＂periphery countries＂, which can contribute a different point of view, and which, in this sense, can offer wider possibilities, precisely because these countries have the ＂critical distance＂ that, probably, core countries are short of.

BACKGROUND Hydatid liver disease remains an important issue in endemic areas,which may require immediate *** laparoscopic surgery is on the rise,the presence of certain complications may require conversion to the open *** To compare the results of laparoscopic treatment and the open approach in the context of a 12-year single institution experience,and to perform a further comparison between results from the current study and those from a previous *** Between January 2009 and December 2020,247 patients underwent surgery for hydatic disease of the liver in our *** the 247 patients,70 underwent laparoscopic treatment.A retrospective analysis between the two groups was performed,as well as a comparison between current and previous laparoscopic experience(1999-2008).RESULTS There were statistically significant differences between the laparoscopic and open approaches regarding the cyst dimension,location,and presence of cystobiliary *** were no intraoperative complications in the laparoscopic *** cutoff value for the cyst size regarding the presence of cystobiliary fistula was 6.85 cm(P=0.001).CONCLUSION Laparoscopic surgery still plays an important role in the treatment of hydatid disease of the liver,with an increase in its usage over the course of years that has shown benefits regarding the postoperative recovery with a decreased rate of intraoperative *** experienced surgeons can perform laparoscopic surgery in the most difficult conditions,there are some selection criteria that need to be maintained for higher quality results.
