In October 1999, rainfall induced landslides devastated different communities of the Sierra Norte, Puebla, causing more than 250 victims and economic losses greater than $ 450 million. The town of Zacapoaxtla was one of the sectors most affected by slope instability due to the existing geological features and geomorphic characters determined by material properties, landforms and processes. Extensive areas formed by pyroclastic piedmonts developed on the Quaternary volcanic ignimbrite deposits highly dissected by marginal gully erosion combined with an extreme rainfall event played a significant role as an ideal scenario for the occurrence of landsliding. Distribution of landslides triggered by rainfall within the main sector of the Zacapoaxtla municipality was analyzed by using IKONOS images in terms of exploring the likely relationship between mass movement incidence and levels of vegetation density. The later was undertaken by means of producing an NDVI and applying a fragmentation algorithm. Finally, a map of potential areas of mass movements risk was produced based on the combination of a socio-economic vulnerability index, geologic and geomorphological maps and the spatial landslide distribution.

Background: The World Health Organization adopted Artenisinin based combination therapy (ACT) for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria in endemic regions. The efficacy of ACT in malaria treatment must have prompted this choice. There’s need to protect the ACT from plasmodial resistance. Hence, clinical scaling up of ACT program is needed. This entails continued assessment, monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of component drugs in endemic areas. Purpose: This study revisited the evaluation of the effectiveness of artemether-lumefantrine combination (alc) in the treatment of uncomplicated malaria in Elele, Nigeria. Method: The study was conducted in Elele, a malaria endemic area in Rivers State, Nigeria. This was a facility based descriptive, cross sectional study at Madonna university Teaching Hospital (MuTH) Elele using simple sampling technique. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected. 100 patients who consented to the study were recruited in the outpatient clinic using semi structured questionnaires as part of study instrument. Inclusion criteria were having a body temperature of ≥37.5°C, symptoms of malaria, positive parasitemia, non ingestion of antimalarial in the past 2 weeks, etc. MuTH ethics committee gave ethical clearance. Patient recruitment following consent commenced with their symptoms and signs recorded at presentation while disappearance of the same was determined following drug ingestion on days 2/4/6/8/10 and 14. The data gotten was analyzed by tallying the responses to get the frequencies using SPSS 16.0 version and Microsoft excel tools. The student t-test was used to calculate the P-value, values ults: Most of the patients knew mosquitoes as the mode of malaria transmission (70%). The ACT is known and used by these patients: artesunate/amodiaquine: 41 (41%);artesunate/lumefantrine: 40 (40%);artesunate/sulphadoxine-pyrimethamine: 38(38%);artesunate/mefloquine: 20 (20%).

对Ti3alc2块体材料在1050~1450℃进行真空热处理,分析了该材料在热处理前后的物相组成和显微组织形貌。结果表明:经1050℃热处理后出现了新相Al3Ti到1250℃时该相消失;从1050~1250℃随温度升高Ti3alc2含量逐渐增加,TiCx含量逐渐减少;经1250℃热处理之后,材料密度增加到4.01 g/cm3,Ti3alc2含量增加到94.2%,Ti3alc2晶粒长15~20μm、厚约2μm;从1250~1450℃随温度升高Ti3alc2含量逐渐减少,TiCx含量逐渐增加,经1450℃热处理之后Ti3alc2含量减为74.8%。因此,1250℃为Ti3alc2块体材料最佳热处理温度。

目的观察单用二甲双胍血糖控制不佳的新诊断2型糖尿病患者加用沙格列汀降糖的有效性及安全性。方法2011年11至2012年9月选取180例新诊断的2型糖尿病患者（均为单用二甲双胍12周而血糖尚不达标），按随机数字表法分为沙格列汀联合治疗（90例）与阿卡波糖联合治疗（90例），随访12周，观察各项血糖指标变化，并记录不良反应发生情况。组间比较采用t检验，定性资料组间比较采用疋。检验。结果治疗12周后，沙格列汀组与阿卡波糖组空腹血糖（FPG）、餐后2h血糖（2hPG）和糖化血红蛋白（Hbalc）较治疗前明显降低（t值分别为1．401、1．321、1．574、1．510、1．421、1．601，均P〈0．05）。沙格列汀组2hPG及Hbalc较阿卡波糖组下降幅度大（t值分别为－2．711、－2．600，均P〈0．05），且Hbalc达标率（83．33％）高于阿卡波糖组（67．78％）（ｘ２=5．870，P〈0．05）。沙格列汀组与阿卡波糖组空腹胰岛素水平较治疗前升高{分别为（9．24±1．21）比（8．17±0．25）u／L，（8．62±1．20）比（8．15±0．24）u／L，t值分别为1．563、1．620，均P〈0．05}；HOMA－IR指数较治疗前明显下降（分别为2．60±0．21比3．02±0．39，2．76±0．40比3．01±0．38，t值分别为1．431、1．459，均P〈0．05）；沙格列汀组空腹胰岛素水平及HOMA—IR指数的改善优于阿卡波糖组（t值分别为3．451、－3．359，均P〈0．05）；阿卡波糖组胃肠道副反应发生率高于沙格列汀组；沙格列汀组患者服药依从性优于阿卡波糖组（矿=8．760，P〈0．05）。结论沙格列汀与二甲双胍联用治疗新诊断的2型糖尿病患者降糖效果比较明显，不增加体重，低血糖发生风险及胃肠道反应低，患者依从性好。

目的探讨心理护理对糖尿病合并膝关节病患者行膝关节置换术住院时间的影响。方法选取2015年1~12月就诊于本院行单侧膝关节置换术的原发性单侧膝关节病患者71例,其中单纯单侧膝关节病患者19例分入对照组,糖尿病合并单侧膝关节病患者52例,将上述患者随机分入普通护理组及心理护理组。对照组及普通护理组均给予普通护理,心理护理组在普通护理的基础上给予心理护理。分别统计并比较各组患者的住院时间、手术准备时间、术后住院时间及糖尿病患者的糖化血红蛋白、身体质量指数及术前焦虑评分。结果糖尿病患者住院总时间及术前准备时间与对照组相比明显延长(P<0.01),心理护理组患者总住院时间及前准备时间与普通护理组相比明显缩短(P<0.01),各组患者术后住院时间无明显变化。心理护理组患者术前焦虑评分明显低于普通护理组(P<0.01)。结论心理护理可以通过减轻焦虑进而缩短膝关节置换术的糖尿病患者的住院时间。

对136例年龄≥40岁、体重指数〉24的2型糖尿病患者行血乳酸水平测定。服用小剂量与大剂量二甲双胍者（45与33例）的血乳酸水平明显高于未服用二甲双胍者（58例，t=2．314，2．511，均P〈0．05），大小剂量者间差异无统计学意义；3组中均有血乳酸水平高于正常（〉2．2mmol／L）者，服用二甲双胍组多于未服者（X^2=7．43，P〈0．05），但均无〉5．0mmol／L者。提示在心肺肾功能正常的情况下，二甲双胍不会增加乳酸性酸中毒的风险。

民航飞行员糖化血红蛋白alc水平的调查

目的探讨民航飞行员糖化血红蛋白alc（glycated hemoglobin alc，Hbalc）水平及其在筛查空腹血糖受损（impaired fasting glucose，IFG）及2型糖尿病（type 2 diabetes mellitus，T2DM）中的应用。方法151例参加例行体检的民航飞行员纳入本次研究，同时选取96例普通体检人群作为对照组，分别测定其空腹血糖（fasting plasma glucose，FPG）、脂代谢指标、肝肾功能指标与Hbalc，所得结果用于统计分析。根据飞行员的不同Hbalc及FPG水平，分析两者之间的相关性。结果民航飞行员Hbalc水平与普通人群相比无显著差异；民航飞行员IFG组与T2DM组的Hbalc较正常组均显著增高（P〈0．01）；多因素回归分析显示FPG、γ-谷氨酰转肽酶、谷丙转氨酶、血清肌酐水平是HbAle的独立影响因素；受试者工作特征曲线显示Hbalc在5．6％与6．2％时分别是IFG与T2DM诊断与筛查的最佳临界值。结论民航飞行员中，Hbalc可作为IFG及T2DM筛查、心血管疾病危险性评估的重要指标。对于服用降糖药物的民航飞行员，飞行体检时除了将FPG作为常规监测项目外，应考虑将Hbalc作为糖代谢状况的评估指标。
