L10-FePt-type bit-patterned media has provided a promising alternative for ultrahigh-density magnetic recording systems in the current digital era, but rapid fabrication of magnetic patterns with hyperfine bit islands is still challenging, especially with the target for miniaturization and scalable production simultaneously. Herein, Fe,Pt-containing block copolymers were utilized as single-source precursors for solution-processable patterning and subsequent generation of the demanding magnetic FePt dots by in situ pyrolysis. High-throughput nanoimprint lithography was initially employed to fabricate the predefined bit cells precisely,and then the intrinsic self-assembly of phase-separated block copolymers further drove the formation of accurate bit *** from the synergistic effect of top-down lithographic approach and bottom-up self-assembly, the customizable patterns could be achieved for large-scale mass production in targeted areas, but high-density isolated dots could also be accurately aligned along the patterned features after subsequent self-assembly. this reliable strategy would provide a good avenue to precisely construct ultrahigh-density magnetic data storage devices.

Soil contamination by metals is a worldwide environmental problem. Electrokinetic extraction is a promising technology for in-situ remediation of contaminated soils of low hydraulic permeability. However, the extraction of metals is usually hindered by the high buffer capacity of natural soils. Organophosphonates are strong metal chelates as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDtA) which has been widely studied in the enhancement of electrokinetic remediation. In this study, batch desorption experiments and bench-scale electrokinetic extraction experiments were carried out to study the effect of two organophosphonates, i.e.,(nitrilotrimethylene)triphosphonate(NtMP) &(ethylenedinitrilo)-tetramethylenephosphonate(EDtMP), on the extraction of cadmium from a natural clay in comparison with EDtA. Results of the batch desorption experiments showed that more than 75% of the sorbed cadmium could be dissolved into solution using 0.1 mol·L^(-1) organophosphonates or EDtA in the wide p H range of 1–11. Results of the electrokinetic extraction experiments showed that the cadmium spiked in the specimen migrated towards the anode with the enhancement of NtMP,EDtMP, and EDtA under a constant voltage gradient of approximately 1.0 V·cm-1. Although cadmium mobilization enhanced by EDtA was more efficient than that by the organophosphonates, accumulation of cadmium was observed in the vicinity of the anode. the average removal efficiencies of cadmium from the soil after approximately 5 days of electrokinetic extraction enhanced by 0.1 mol·L-1 NtMP(22.8%) and EDtMP(22.4%) were higher than that by 0.1 mol·L^(-1) EDtA(15.1%).

the internet is a major source for health information. An increasing number of people, including patients with insomnia, search for remedies online; however, little is known about the quality of such information. this study aimed to evaluate the quality and readability of insomnia-related online information. Google was used as the search engine, and the top websites on insomnia that met the inclusion criteria were evaluated for quality and readability. the analyzed websites belonged to nonprofit, commercial, or academic organizations and institutions such as hospitals and universities. Insomnia-related websites typically included definitions （85%）, causes and risk factors （100%）, symptoms （95%）, and treatment options （90%）. Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia （CBt-I） was the most commonly recommended approach for insomnia treatment, and sleep drugs are frequently mentioned. the overall quality of the websites on insomnia is moderate, but all the content exceeded the recommended reading ease levels. Concerns that must be addressed to increase the quality and trustworthiness of online health information include sharing metadata, such as authorship, time of creation and last update, and conflicts of interest; providing evidence for reliability; and increasing the readability for a layman audience.

Reductive cleavage of the NO bond of isoxazolidine ring with catalytic hydrogenation over Raney nickel was described. Bicyclic isoxazolidines could be effectively converted into the corresponding 1,3-amino-alcohol possessing a sultone or sultam moiety with high conversion and yield when the hydrogenation was catalyzed by freshly prepared Raney nickel under a pressure of 40 psi in the presence of triethylamine.

Airborne LiDAR data are usually collected with partially overlapping strips in order to serve a seamless and fine resolution mapping *** of the factors limiting the use of intensity data is the presence of striping noise found in the overlapping *** recent researches have proposed physical and empirical approaches for intensity data correction,the effect of striping noise has not yet been *** paper presents a radiometric normalization technique to normalize the intensity data from one data strip to another one with partial *** normalization technique is built based on a second-order polynomial function fitted on the joint histogram plot,which is generated with a set of pairwise closest data points identified within the overlapping *** proposed method was tested with two individual LiDAR datasets collected by teledyne Optech’s Gemini(1064 nm)and Orion(1550 nm)*** experimental results showed that radiometric correction and normalization can significantly reduce the striping noise found in the overlapping LiDAR intensity data and improve its capability in land cover *** coefficient of variation of five selected land cover features was reduced by 19–65%,where a 9–18%accuracy improvement was achieved in different classification *** the proven capability of the proposed method,both radiometric correction and normalization should be applied as a pre-processing step before performing any surface classification and object recognition.

Low-Earth Orbit Satellite Constellations(LEO-SCs)provide global,high-speed,and low latency Internet access services,which bridges the digital divide in the remote *** inter-satellite links are not supported in initial deployment(*** Starlink),the communication between satellites is based on ground stations with radio frequency *** to the rapid movement of satellites,this hybrid topology of LEO-SCs and ground stations is time-varying,which imposes a major challenge to uninterrupted service provisioning and network *** this paper,we focus on solving two notable problems in such a ground station-assisted LEO-SC topology,i.e.,traffic engineering and fast reroute,to guarantee that the packets are forwarded in a balanced and uninterrupted ***,we employ segment routing to support the arbitrary path routing in *** solve the traffic engineering problem,we proposed two source routings with traffic splitting algorithms,Delay-Bounded traffic Splitting(DBtS)and DBtS+,where DBtS equally splits a flow and DBtS+favors shorter ***-lation results show that DBtS+can achieve about 30%lower maximum satellite load at the cost of about 10%more *** guarantee the fast recovery of failures,two fast reroute mechanisms,Loop-Free Alternate(LFA)and LFA+,are studied,where LFA pre-computes an alternate next-hop as a backup while LFA+finds a 2-segment backup *** show that LFA+can increase the percentage of protection coverage by about 15%.
