目的这篇回顾性文章评价了单基牙、单桥体树脂粘接固定局部义齿（FPDs），并与两基牙、单桥体非悬臂梁树脂粘接FPDs对比。材料和方法通过2个数据库检索了一篇有关设计原则的出版物和11篇临床研究论文。6篇论文主要是有关两单位悬臂梁树脂粘接FPDs的研究，5篇论文是有关双端固定设计的树脂粘接FPDs和悬臂梁树脂粘接FPDs的对比研究。结果如果能遵循正确的预备准则，单个牙缺失的两单位悬臂梁树脂粘接FPDs修复体更可信赖，预后更好。结论根据论文回顾，同样条件下，两单位悬臂梁FPDs较双端固定树脂粘接固定局部义齿显示出更长的寿命。

Dental materials' choice of patients has considerably changed. Whereas cast gold and amalgam have been the predominant biomaterials for decades, today toothcolored materials like resin-based composites and ceramics are more and more successful. However, are we going to replace a good but biologically questionable material(amalgam) with an equal material(resin composite) being more esthetic but also biologically questionable? For amalgam, long-term clinical studies reported some significant hints that in single cases amalgam may be a health hazard for patients, finally Norway banned amalgam completely. The main advantage of a resin-based composite over amalgam is its tooth-like appearance and more or less absence of extensive preparation rules. For many years it was believed that resin-based composites may cause pulpal injury. However, pulpal injury associated with the use of resin-based composites is not correlated with their cytotoxic properties. Nevertheless, resin-based composites and other dental materials require rigorous safety evaluation and continuous monitoring to prevent adverse events similar like with amalgam. Because of nonbiocompatible pulp responses to resin-based composites and amalgam, they should not be placed in direct contact with the dental pulp. The less dentin remaining in the floor of preparations between resin-based composites or other dental materials is more likely to cause pulpitis. Percentage of patients and dental practitioners who display allergic reactions is between 0.7% and 2%. The release of cytotoxic monomers from resin-based materials is highest after polymerization and much lower after 1 wk. Substances released from resin-based composites have been shown to be toxic in cytotoxicity tests. Nevertheless, in vitro cytotoxicity assays have shown that amalgam has greater toxic effects than resin-based composites, sometime 100-700-fold higher. Altogether, the risk of side-effects is low, but not zero, especially for dental personnel.

In times of digitalisation, visual assistance systems in assembly are increasingly important. The design of these assembly systems needs to be highly complex to meet the requirements. Due to the increasing number of variants in production processes, as well as shorter innovation and product life cycles, assistance systems should improve quality and reduce complexity of assembly processes. However, many large kitchen manufacturers still assemble kitchen cabinets manually, due to the high variety of components, such as rails and fittings. This paper focuses on the analysis and evaluation of virtual assistance systems to improve quality and usability in individualised kitchen cabinet assembly processes at a large German manufacturer. A solution is identified and detailed.

Androgen receptor(AR)is a major transcription factor that plays a role in inflammatory response including interleukin-6(IL6)signaling.1 While AR regulation through paracrine loop signaling in prostate tissue is well-studied,its impact through an IL6 autocrine loop in the lung has not been wellstudied despite the organ's response to respiratory viral *** inhibition and RNA knockdown of AR identified a bZIP transcription factor MAF to be a common target of inflammation using these perturbations in lung cells.

BACKGROUND The study investigates the connection between academic productivity and industry earnings in foot and ankle orthopedic surgery *** metrics like the H-index and Open Payments Database(OPD)data,it addresses a gap in understanding the relationship between scholarly achievements and financial outcomes,providing a basis for further exploration in this specialized medical *** To elucidate the trends between academic productivity and industry earnings across foot and ankle orthopedic surgery fellowship programs in the United *** This study is a retrospective analysis of the relationship between academic productivity and industry earnings of foot and ankle orthopedic surgery fellowships at an individual faculty and fellowship *** productivity was defined via H-index and recorded from the Scopus *** earnings were recorded from the *** Forty-eight foot and ankle orthopedic surgery fellowships(100%of fellowships)in the United States with a combined total of 165 physicians(95.9%of physicians)were *** individual physician(n=165)total life-time earnings reported on the OPD website was United States Dollar(USD)451430.30±1851084.89(range:USD 25.16-21269249.85;median:USD 27839.80).Mean physician(n=165)H-index as reported on Scopus is 14.24±12.39(range:0-63;median:11).There was a significant but weak correlation between individual physician H-index and individual physician total life-time earnings(P<0.001;Spearman’s rho=0.334)and a significant and moderate positive correlation between combined fellowship H-index and total life-time earnings per fellowship(P=0.004,Spearman’s rho=0.409).CONCLUSION There is a significant and positive correlation between academic productivity and industry earnings at foot and ankle orthopedic surgery fellowships in the United *** observation is true on an individual physician level as well as on a fellowship level.

Treatment decisions in autoimmune hepatitis are complicated by the diversity of its clinical presentations,uncertainties about its natural history,evolving opinions regarding treatment end points,varied nature of refractory disease,and plethora of alternative immu-nosuppressive agents. The goals of this article are to review the difficult treatment decisions and to provide the bases for making sound therapeutic judgments. The English literature on the treatment problems in au-toimmune hepatitis were identifi ed by Medline search up to October 2009 and 32 years of personal experi-ence. Autoimmune hepatitis may have an acute severe presentation,mild in? ammatory activity,lack autoan-tibodies,exhibit atypical histological changes (centri-lobular zone 3 necrosis or bile duct injury),or have variant features reminiscent of another disease (overlap syndrome). Corticosteroid therapy must be instituted early,applied despite the absence of symptoms,or modified in an individualized fashion. Pursuit of normal liver tests and tissue is the ideal treatment end point,but this objective must be tempered against the risk of side effects. Relapse after treatment withdrawal requires long-term maintenance therapy,preferably with azathioprine. Treatment failure or an incomplete response warrants salvage therapy that can include conventional medications in modified dose or empiricaltherapies with calcineurin inhibitors or mycophenolate mofetil. Liver transplantation supersedes empirical drug therapy in decompensated patients. Elderly and pregnant patients warrant treatment modifications. Difficult treatment decisions in autoimmune hepatitis can be simplified by recognizing its diverse manifestations and individualizing treatment,pursuing realistic goals,applying appropriate salvage regimens,and identifying problematic patients early.

Mucosal-associated invariant T(MAIT)cells have been described in liver and nonliver diseases,and they have been ascribed antimicrobial,immune regulatory,protective,and pathogenic *** goals of this review are to describe their biological properties,indicate their involvement in chronic liver disease,and encourage investigations that clarify their actions and therapeutic *** abstracts were identified in PubMed by multiple search terms,and bibliographies were *** cells are activated by restricted non-peptides of limited diversity and by multiple inflammatory *** pro-inflammatory,anti-inflammatory,and immune regulatory cytokines are released;infected cells are eliminated;and memory cells *** MAIT cells are hyper-activated,immune exhausted,dysfunctional,and depleted in chronic liver *** phenotype lacks disease-specificity,and it does not predict the biological *** cells have presumed protective actions in chronic viral hepatitis,alcoholic hepatitis,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,primary sclerosing cholangitis,and decompensated *** have pathogenic and pro-fibrotic actions in autoimmune hepatitis and mixed actions in primary biliary *** factors in the hepatic microenvironment(cytokines,bile acids,gut-derived bacterial antigens,and metabolic by-products)may modulate their response in individual *** manipulations of function are warranted to establish an association with disease severity and *** conclusion,MAIT cells constitute a disease-nonspecific,immune response to chronic liver inflammation and *** pathological role has been deduced from their deficiencies during active liver disease,and future investigations must clarify this role,link it to outcome,and explore therapeutic interventions.
