INTrODUCTION Although the differential diagnosis for chest wall masses is broad, the vast majority are abscesses, lipomas, or sebaceous cysts. Post-operative chest wall masses can also include infection, hematoma, seroma, cancer recurrence, metastasis, and lung hernia. Bedside ultrasound has been well documented to be beneficial in the differentiation of superficial pathology. Pleurocutaneous fistula is a pathologic communication between the pleural space and subcutaneous tissues of the chest wall. Pleurocutaneous fistula is a rare complication of tube thoracostomy, video-assisted thoracic surgery （VATS） procedures, and various pulmonary infections.

We employ thermoreflectance thermal imaging to directly measure the steady-state two-dimensional(2D)temperature field generated by nanostructured heat sources deposited on silicon substrate with different geometrical configurations and characteristic sizes down to *** analysis of the results using Fourier's law not only breaks down as size scales down,but it alsofails to capture the impact of the geometry of the heat *** substrate effective Fourier thermal conductivities fitted to wire-shaped and circular-shaped structures with identical characteristic lengths are found to display up to 40%***,a hydrcxjynamic heat transport model reproduces the observed temperature fields for all device sizes and shapes using just intrinsic Si parameters,i.e.,a geometry and size-independent thermal conductivity and nonlocal length *** hydrodynamic model provides insight into the observed thermal response and of the contradictory Fourier *** discuss the substantial Silicon hydrodynamic behavior at room temperature and contrast it to InGaAs,which shows less hydrodynamic effects due to dominant phonon-impurity scattering.

Whereas a rich literature exists for estimating population genetic divergence, metrics of phenotypic trait divergence are lacking, particularly for comparing multiple traits among three or more populations. Here, we review and analyze via simula- tion Hedges＇ g, a widely used parametric estimate of effect size. Our analyses indicate that g is sensitive to a combination of unequal trait variances and unequal sample sizes among populations and to changes in the scale of measurement. We then go on to derive and explain a new, non-parametric distance measure, ＇Aft＇, which is caiculated based upon a joint cumulative distribution function （CDF） from all populations under study. More precisely, distances are measured in terms of the percentiles in this CDF at which each population＇s median lies. Ap combines many desirable features of other distance metrics into a single metric; namely, compared to other metrics, p is relatively insensitive to unequal variances and sample sizes among the populations sam- pied. Furthermore, a key feature of Ap--and our main motivation for developing it--is that it easily accommodates simultaneous comparisons of any number of traits across any number of populations. To exemplify its utility, we employ Ap to address a ques- tion related to the role of sexual selection in speciation： are sexual signals more divergent than ecological traits in closely related taxa？ Using traits of known function in closely related populations, we show that traits predictive of reproductive performance are indeed, more divergent and more sexually dimorphic than traits related to ecological adaptation [Current Zoology 58 （3）： 426-439 2012].

目的　利用12 3 I 15对碘苯基 3(r ,S)甲基十五烷酸 (BMIPP)在犬顿抑心肌 (SM)中的不匹配分布 ,探讨其作为诊断SM示踪剂的可能性。方法　建立标准犬左回旋支 (LCX)顿抑心肌模型(18min结扎后再灌注 ,n =12 )。监测血流动力学和心功能参数。Doppler探头测量LCX血流和局部室壁收缩厚度 (WT)。SPECT显像和组织γ计数法测量局部心肌的BMIPP、2 0 1Tl分布和微球灌注(rBF)。测量局部心肌耗氧量、葡萄糖和乳糖利用率。动态测量局部BMIPP摄取与清除。薄层层析法分析BMIPP及其代谢产物。结果　心肌顿抑时的血流动力学参数和冠状动脉血流恢复到基础水平 ,但WT明显低于基础值 [(12 .9± 2 9.1) %和 (6 6 .3± 2 2 .4) % ,P rBF[(70 .4± 10 .5 ) % ,P rBF相关性较好(r=0 .6 7) ,而BMIPP与rBF不相关 (r=0 .11)。虽然SM的局部耗氧量和乳糖利用率低于基础值 ,但BMIPP代谢产物清除增加。未经代谢的BMIPP摄取和清除均有减低趋势。结论　代谢因素对SM的BMIPP残留有明显影响。

近自然森林经营在德国的应用成效分析

[目的]分析德国推行近自然森林经营20年来的经营效果,总结德国推行近自然森林经营的经验。[方法]在明晰近自然森林经营原则的基础上,基于两期(间隔期10年)资源清查数据对比,对德国大面积推行近自然森林经营20年的经营效果进行分析。[结果]两期资源清查数据表明,德国采用近自然经营20年后,针叶林如挪威云杉和欧洲赤松的面积显著减少,阔叶林和针阔混交林面积持续增加;阔叶树种蓄积平均增长量约为15m^3·hm^-2,针叶树种蓄积平均增长4m^3·hm^-2,挪威云杉是唯一蓄积下降的树种,下降了5m^3·hm^-2;近自然度等级变化表明,人工林面积在减少,而近自然森林的面积在增加,甚至符合原始林等级的森林面积也在增加。[结论]实现近自然森林经营的目标是一个长期的过程,联邦政府促进和保护森林的政策以及林场主所采用的先进的森林经营技术也是德国森林每公顷蓄积达到336m^3的重要原因;在近自然森林经营的原则下,德国森林中针阔混交林比例显著增加;将近自然程度不高的人工林经营转化为近自然的森林生态系统是德国森林经营所面临的主要问题。

Using bioelectrochemical systems(BESs)to provide electrochemically generated hydrogen is a promising technology to provide electron donors for reductive dechlorination by organohalide-respiring *** this study,we inoculated two syntrophic dechlorinating cultures containing Dehalobacter and Dehalobacterium to sequentially transform chloroform(CF)to acetate in a BES using a graphite fiber brush as the *** this co-culture,Dehalobacter transformed CF to stoichiometric amounts of dichloromethane(DCM)via organohalide respiration,whereas the Dehalobacterium-containing culture converted DCM to acetate via *** were initially inoculated with Dehalobacter,and sequential cathodic potentials of-0.6,-0.7,and -0.8 V were poised after consuming three CF doses(500 μM)per each potential during a time-span of 83 *** the end of this period,the accumulated DCM was degraded in the following seven days after the inoculation of *** this point,four consecutive amendments of CF at increasing concentrations of 200,400,600,and 800 μM were sequentially transformed by the combined degradation activity of Dehalobacter and *** Dehalobacter 16S rrNA gene copies increased four orders of magnitude during the whole *** coulombic efficiencies associated with the degradation of CF reached values>60% at a cathodic potential of -0.8 V when the degradation rate of CF achieved the highest *** study shows the advantages of combining syntrophic bacteria to fully detoxify chlorinated compounds in BESs and further expands the use of this technology for treating water bodies impacted with pollutants.

Zircon U–Pb and Hf isotope data integrated in this study for magmatic and metamorphic rocks fromthe Hida Belt,southwest japan,lead to a new understanding of the evolution of the Cordilleran arc system along the ancestral margins of present-day Northeast *** microprobe data for magmatic zircon domains from eight mafic tointermediate orthogneisses in the Tateyama and Tsunogawa areas yielded weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages spanning the entire Permian period(302–254 Ma).Under cathodoluminescence,primary magmatic growth zones in the zircon crystals were observed to be partially or completely replaced by inward-penetrating,irregularly curved featureless or weakly zoned secondary domains that mostly yielded U–Pb ages of 250–240 Ma and relatively high Th/U ratios(>0.2).These secondary domains are considered to have been formed by solid-state recrystallization during thermal overprints associated with intrusions of Hida *** whole-rock geochemical and Sr–Nd isotope data as well as zircon age spectra corroborate that the Hida Belt comprises the Paleozoic–Mesozoic Cordilleran arc system built upon the margin of the North China Craton,together with the YeongnamMassif in southern *** arcmagmatismalong this systemwas commenced in the Carboniferous and culminated in the Permian–Triassic transition *** positiveεHf(t)values(>+12)of late Carboniferous to early Permian detrital zircons in the Hida paragneisses indicate that there was significant input from the depleted asthenospheric mantle and/or its crustal derivatives in the early stage of arc *** the other hand,near-chondriticεHf(t)values(+5 to−2)of magmatic zircons from late Permian Hida orthogneisses suggest a lithospheric mantle *** isotopic differences between magmatic zircon cores and the secondary rims observed in some orthogneiss samples clearly indicate that the zircons were chemically open to fluids or melts during thermal *** highly positive zirconεHf(t)val

Objective:Cytoreductive radical prostatectomy(crP)has been proposed as local treatment option in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer(mHSPC)to prevent local complications and potentially improve oncological *** this study,we examined the feasibility of a multimodal concept with primary chemohormonal therapy followed by crP and analyzed prostate size reduction under systemic treatment,postoperative complication rates,as well as early postoperative ***:In this retrospective study,38 patients with mHSPC underwent crP after primary chemohormonal therapy(3-monthly luteinising hormone-releasing hormone-analogue+six cycles 3-weekly docetaxel 75 mg/m2)at two centers between September 2015 and December ***:Overall,10(26%)patients had high volume and 28(74%)patients had low volume disease at diagnosis,according to CHAArTED *** prostate-specific antigen(PSA)decreased from 65 ng/mL(interquartile range[IQr]35.0-124.5 ng/mL)pre-chemotherapy to 1 ng/mL(IQr 0.3-1.7 ng/mL)*** gland volume was significantly reduced by a median of 50%(IQr 29%-56%)under chemohormonal therapy(p=0.003).Postoperative histopathology showed seminal vesicle invasion in 33(87%)patients and negative surgical margins in 17(45%)*** complications(Grade 3 according to Clavien-Dindo)were observed in 4(11%)patients within 30 *** was reached in 87%of patients after 1 month and in 92%of patients after 6 *** time to castration-resistance from begin of chemohormonal therapy was 41.1 months and from crP was 35.9 *** PSA-nadir≤1 ng/mL versus>1 ng/mL was a significant predictor of time to castration-resistance after crP(median not reached versus 5.3 months;prved a reduction of prostate volume under chemohormonal therapy going along with a low postoperative complication and high early continence ***,the oncologic benefit from crP is still under evaluation.
