The link between intracellular calcium signaling and exosomal PD-L1 in cancer progression and immunotherapy

Parasitic effects on the Performance of DC-DC SePIC in Photovoltaic Maximum Power Point Tracking Applications

This paper presents an analysis of the effect of parasitic resistances on the performance of DC-DC Single ended Pri- mary Inductor Converter (SePIC) in photovoltaic maximum power point tracking (MPPT) applications. The energy storage elements incorporated in the SePIC converter possess parasitic resistances. Although ideal components significantly simplifies model development, but neglecting the parasitic effects in models may sometimes lead to failure in predicting first scale stability and actual performance. Therefore, the effects of parasitics have been taken into consideration for improving the model accuracy, stability, robustness and dynamic performance analysis of the converter. Detail mathematical model of SePIC converter including inductive parasitic has been developed. The performance of the converter in tracking MPP at different irradiance levels has been analyzed for variation in parasitic resistance. The converter efficiency has been found above 83% for insolation level of 600 W/m2 when the parasitic resistance in the energy storage element has been ignored. However, as the parasitic resistance of both of the inductor has increased to 1 ohm, a fraction of the power managed by the converter has dissipated;as a result the efficiency of the converter has reduced to 78% for the same insolation profile. Although the increasing value of the parasitic has assisted the converter to converge quickly to reach the maximum power point. Furthermore it has also been observed that the peak to peak load current ripple is reduced. The obtained simulation results have validated the competent of the MPPT converter model.

Chaos and Combination Synchronization of a New Fractional-order System with Two Stable Node-foci

A new fractional-order Lorenz-like system with two stable node-foci has been thoroughly studied in this paper. Some sufficient conditions for the local stability of equilibria considering both commensurate and incommensurate cases are given. In addition, with the effective dimension less than three, the minimum effective dimension of the system is approximated as 2.8485 and is verified numerically. It should be affirmed that the linear differential equation in fractional-order Lorenzlike system appears to be less sensitive to the damping, represented by a fractional derivative, than the two other nonlinear equations. Furthermore, combination synchronization of this system is analyzed with the help of nonlinear feedback control method. Theoretical results are verified by performing numerical simulations. © 2014 Chinese Association of Automation.

Fluphenazine hydrochloride radical cation assay:A new,rapid and precise method to determine in vitro total antioxidant capacity of fruit extracts

A new procedure based on generation and subsequent reduction of orange-colored fluphenazine hydrochloride radical （FPH^＋） is presented for the screening of total antioxidant capacity （TAC） of various fruit matrices. The FPH^＋ was obtained by mixing fluphenazine hydrochloride with persulfate （final concentration 2 mmol/L and 0.05 mmol/L, respectively） in 3 mol/L H2SO4 with constant shaking for 5 min. The solution formed showed maximum absorption as 0.8 ＋ 0.02 at 500 nm in first-order derivative spectrum. The percent inhibition of the solution increased linearly on addition of increasing amounts of standard antioxidants i.e., ascorbic acid etc. The TACs of sample citrus juices were calculated in terms of ascorbic acid equivalents （AAes） by comparing their inhibition curves with that of ascorbic acid. Comparison of AAe values of different commercial orange juices using the newly developed FPH^＋ assay and the well-known ABTS/K2S2Os and DMPD/FeC13 assays indicated the precision and comparable sensitivity of the method. The proposed procedure is quick, economical, and more precise and gives results comparable to contemporary assays.

Financial management for custom hire service of tractor in Bangladesh

A Computational Investigation on the Control of Cavity-Induced Pressure Oscillations Using Sub-Cavity

A computational investigation has been conducted to determine the effectiveness of a passive control technique of attenuating cavity-induced pressure oscillations in a confined two-dimensional supersonic flow. The passive control technique is achieved by fitting two flat plates near the front wall of a square cavity at Mach number 1.83 at the cavity entrance. The results showed that the flat plates attached near the front wall of the cavity, discouraged the formation of feedback loop which is widely believed to be the reason of cavity resonance. The resultant amount of attenuation of pressure oscillations was also dependent on the length of the flat plate used as an oscillation suppressor.
