A new com.lexes of Cp2Ti[S2P(OR)2]2 (where R = Et, Pr-n, Pr-i, Bu-i and Ph) and Cp2Ti[S2POGO]2 (where G = -CH2Cm.2CH2-, -CH2CEt2CH2- and -Cm.2Cm.2-) were prepared by the dropwise addition of the appropriate O,O’-dialkyl or -alkylenedithiophosphoric acid to biscyclopentadienyl titanium.dichloride in 1:2 m.lar ratio and refluxed in benzene solution. These novel deep red colored com.lexes were characterized by elem.ntal analyses, m.lecular weight m.asurem.nts and spectroscopic techniques (IR., Nm. 1H, 13C and 31P Nm.). These titanium.(IV) dithio com.lexes have also been screened for their antibacterial activities.

A series of new com.lexes, CpTiCl[S2P(OR)2]2 (where R) Et, n-Pr, i-Pr, Bui, Ph) and CpTiCl [S2POGO]2 (where G) –CH2Cm.2CH2-, -Cm.2Cm.2-) have been prepared by the drop wise addition of the appropriate O, O’-dialkyl or -alkylene dithiophosphoric acid to cyclopentadienyl titanium.trichloride in 1:2 m.lar ratio and refluxed in benzene solution. The new com.ounds were characterized by m.lecular weight m.asurem.nts elem.ntal analyses and spectroscopic studies (1H, 13C, and 31P Nm., and in-frared). We suggest a distorted tetrahedron structure of these new com.lexes and the dithioligand behaves as bidentate ligand.

Reaction of acetylacetone with 1 m.le of dim.thylform.m.de dim.thyl acetal (Dm.Dm.) affords enam.ne 2a which reacts with cyanothioacetam.de to give pyridinethione 3a. Pyridinethione 3a reacts with m.thyl iodide, halogenated com.ounds, arom.tic aldehyde and m.lononitrile/elem.ntal sulfur to yiled com.ounds 7-10 respectively. Reactions of thioether 7 in ethanolic K2CO3, 1 m.le Dm.Dm. and 4-(dim.thylam.no)benzaldehyde give com.ounds 11, 13, 14 respectively. Enam.none 12 can be prepared by reaction of com.ound 11 with Dm.Dm.. We have dem.nstrated som. reactions in order to show the potential usefulness of the prepared com.ounds for the preparation of new bipyridyl com.ounds 15, 16, 18, bicyclic com.ounds 17 and uncom.on tricyclic com.ounds 20, 21, 22 and 23 respectively using Dm.Dm..

Objective: To com.are the accuracy of different ultrasonographic m.dalities;two-dim.nsional ultrasound (2D-US), color Doppler and three-dim.nsional power Doppler (3D-PD) in the antenatal diagnosis of the m.rbidly adherent placenta. Setting: Obstetrics and Gynecology Departm.nt, Faculty of m.dicine, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt. Study Design: A cross-sectional study. m.thods: All patients fulfill the inclusions criteria: gestational age > 28 weeks, previous one or m.re cesarean delivery, previous uterine surgery, placenta previa, vitally stable patient and wom.n accepted to participate in the study were included. All patients were evaluated using 2D-US, color Doppler and 3D-PD before delivery. The final diagnosis was established by laparotom. and by histopathology of hysterectom. sam.le if hysterectom. would be done. Results: One-hundred fifty patients were enrolled in the study. 2D-US has higher sensitivity (86.96%) than 2D color Doppler (84.06%) and 3D-PD (79.71%) in the diagnosis of placenta accreta. On the other hand, 3D-PD has slightly higher specificity (83.95%) than color Doppler (82.72%) and 2D-US (77.78%) in the diagnosis of placenta accreta. The m.st sensitive param.ter in 2D-Us was the loss of retroplacental sonolucent zone (86.96%). As regards color Doppler, the m.st sensitive param.ter was the hypervascularity of the uterine-bladder interface (84.06%). Tortuous vascularity with chaotic branching was the m.st sensitive param.ter in 3D-PD with a sensitivity of 82.61%. Conclusions: The use of 3D power Doppler with both 2D-US and color Doppler as com.lem.ntary techniques could im.rove the antenatal diagnosis or exclusion of m.rbidly adherent placenta.

A cylindrical dc coaxial glow discharge system.with inner grid cathode was designed for ion confinem.nt, and success- fully operated with low discharge current. The plasm. is form.d inside the cylindrical grid cathode. The discharge cur- rentvoltage characteristic curves and Paschen curve are obtained at different gas pressures. Langm.ir probes are used to determ.ne the electron tem.erature and the plasm. density. The electron energy distribution functions indicated that, two groups of electrons, appear in radial interval from.r = 12 m. up to r = 5 m.. One group of electrons with m.st probable energy around 1 eV appeared from.r = 5 m. up to r = 0. The electron tem.erature Te is increased with increasing the current and also with m.ving from.the center toward the grid cathode. Poisson’s equation is used to calculate the plasm. density at different radial positions. The plasm. density m.asured by the single probe is around 1015 m.3. A com.arison is obtained between calculated plasm. density and that m.asured by Langm.ir probes. Experim.ntal and calculated results have the sam. profile.

Burullus是尼罗河河口高封闭性潟湖,其生源要素主要来源于尼罗河,是研究Aswan大坝建成以来流域变化如何影响河口湖泊环境的最佳区域。研究通过对Burullus潟湖B1岩芯的210Pb测年、粒度、以及TOC、TN、TP、BSi生源要素的测试分析,结合历史资料,试图揭示Aswan建坝前后河口湖泊营养盐的差异变化,以及这些变化对生态环境的影响。结果表明:1)沉积物中TOC、TN和TP含量自下而上总体增加,表明尽管Aswan大坝导致营养盐通量急剧减少,但由于下游人类排放N、P通量大大增加,导致下游湖泊N、P浓度并没减少;且沉积TN/TP均小于16,表明湖泊仍为P限制。2)但BSi和BSi/TOC自下而上总体呈减少趋势,表明Aswan大坝引起的水沙减少导致湖泊中硅藻的生物量及其总初级生产力占比都在减少,潟湖水体生态环境将趋于恶化。

核磁共振测井（Nm.）不同于常规的中子、密度、声波和电阻率测井方法，因为核磁共振测井测量的是储层流体的信息，而对岩石骨架不敏感。储层评价的主要工作就是准确地计算孔隙度、渗透率以及识别流体（水、油、气）饱和度。本文提出了一种将密度和Nm.孔隙度结合起来并且经过岩心校正的方法。新孔隙度称为Dm.（密度-核磁共振）孔隙度。以前，常常利用中子／密度测井值来求取储层孔隙度，然而这种方法只在纯砂岩中效果较好。岩性的影响，充填的烃（气）以及砂泥岩储层的非均质性都增加了孔隙度计算的不确定性。本文中叙述了Nm.弛豫时间与体积密度测井技术极大地降低了利用中子测井评价储层参数的不确定性，满足了描述和校正冲洗带流体密度的目的。叙述了Dm.技术在埃及沙漠西部Obaiyed油田取心井中的应用并且讨论了得到的结果、局限性及优点，满足了数据获取的要求。油田实例显示了在致密气层中，Dm.技术取代单一的Nm.测井或者常规测井方法在确定储层孔隙度及含气饱和度方面的重要性。

New series of Ag, Cd(II), Ce(III), Co(II), Cr(III), Fe(III), Ni(II) and Pb(II) com.lexes with (E)-N-(4-(2- hydroxybenzylideneam.no) phenylsulfonyl) {S.S} have been synthesized. These com.ounds have been characterized by different physico-chem.cal techniques like, m.lting point, elem.ntal analysis, FT-IR, UV spectroscopy, 1H Nm. spectroscopy, conductance m.asurem.nts, m.gnetic susceptibility and m.ss spectral analysis. The m.tal ions concentrations have been determ.ned using inductively coupled plasm. m.ss spectrom.try (ICP-m.). Spectroscopic studies suggest coordination m.st of com.lexes in a regular octahedral arrangem.nt in 2L:1m.m.lar ratio by two N azom.thine and two OH phenolic from.Schiff base {S.S} in the form.of [m.2(H2O)2], m.m.tal, L ligand {S.S}. Com.lexes have been screened for their antibacterial {Gram.negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Pseudom.nas aeruginosa)}, {Gram.positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and Sterptococcus pneum.niae)} and antifungal (Aspergillus fum.gates and Candida albicans) showing prom.sing antim.crobial biological activity.

The current study was carried out at Agricultural College, University of Baghdad in the vegetable farm. Departm.nt of Horticulture during 2013 spring growing season. Yield response to irrigation of different crops is of m.jor im.ortance in production planning where water resources are lim.ted. This study aim. to determ.ne the effect of different irrigation treatm.nt （deficit irrigation） and potassium.hum.te fertilizer on yield, content of nitrogen, potassium. and phosphor in tuber of potato and water use efficiency in the abu-Graib Region, Iraq. Potato was grown under drip irrigation with three treatm.nts： irrigation applied when evaporation 75%, 100% and 125% from.pan A, and three potassium.hum.te fertilizers： 0, 1.2 and 2.4 kg/ha with three tim.s additions. The seasonal potato evapotranspiration ranged from.267 m. to 372 m.. The drip irrigation treatm.nt had significant effecting tuber yield of potato recorder 29,530, 27,630 and 24,880 kg/ha for 125%, 100% and 75% from.pan A evapotranspiration, respectively. Hum.s fertilizers addition has the lowest value of ETa 309 m. and m.xim.m.value of yield 2,930 kg/ha. Water use efficiency （WUE） and irrigation water use efficiency （IWUE） values increased with increasing hum.s fertilizers, recording 9.92, 14.52, 8.59, 12.42 and 7.51, 10.70 kg/m. for potassium.hum.te K3 （2.4 kg/ha）, K2 （1.2 kg/ha） and KI （0.0 kg/ha）, respectively. Plants irrigated with 125% from.class pans A evaporation, produced a significant increase in N, P and K content in tubers recorder 0.96%, 0.58% and 1.52%, respectively. Potassium.hum.s-fertilizer significant differences am.ng K1, K2 and K3 on high of plants reached 41.52, 50.08 and 56.39 cm. respectively, num.er of stem./plant 2.69, 3.22 and 3.78, respectively, leaves area index recorder 2.80, 3.35 and 3.73.
