To address the need for producing a cheap,single-component,hot-applied compound joint sealant with high quality for sealing joints and cracks in concrete and flexible pavements without using primer for installation,a hot-applied modified asphalt sealant was produced by blending up about 30% starch into 20% citric *** starch and the asphalt cement were mixed at a temperature of above 160 ℃.Thus the waterproofing asphalt was manufactured to protect the surface of various shapes and types from water leakage using the citric *** indicate that this sealant complies with the requirements of ASTM D-1191,D-6690-06a and *** citric acid is a kind of reliable materials for asphalt cement,which can be widely used in paving and waterproofing construction materials,and this offers profound engineering and economic advantages.

Based on statistics principle,random error and systematic error were considered and the volumetric properties of the two mixtures types,namely A and B,were statistically analyzed using different distribution ***-two samples of mixture A and fifty-two of mixture B were fabricated using the Marshall *** probability distributions were compared on the basis of goodness of *** model was found to be most appropriate model for describing the asphalt mixtures volumetric properties *** two-parameter Weibull distribution function applied well to model the bulk specific gravity and voids filled with asphalt data,whereas,the three-parameter Weibull distribution appeared to be more appropriate in the discussing of air voids and voids in mineral *** experimetal results is revealed that compared with the mean value,the peak value of Weibull distribution was suggested as an alternative and more powerful parameter for describing the test data distribution *** analysis of test results also revealed that there were significant differences in the volumetric properties of the two tested mixtures for the same confidence *** confidence interval decreased with the decreasing in reliability.

This paper discusses a search problem for a Helix target motion in which any information of the target position is not available to the searchers. There exist three searchers start searching for the target from the origin. The purpose of this paper is to formulate a search model and finds the conditions under which the expected value of the first meeting time between one of the searchers and the target is finite. also, the existence of the optimal search plan that minimizes the expected value of the first meeting time is shown. Furthermore,this optimal search plan is found. The effectiveness of this method is illustrated by using an example with numerical results.

We present a statistical distribution of a nanorobot motion inside the *** distribution is like the distribution of A and B particles in continuous time random walk scheme inside the fAuid reactive anomalous transport with stochastic waiting time depending on the Gaussian distribution and a Gaussian jump length which is detailed in Zhang and Li[***,Published Online with doi:10.1007/s10955-018-2185-8,2018].Rather than estimating the length parameter of the jumping distance of the nanorobot,we normalize the Probability Density Function(PDF)and present some reliability properties for this *** addition,we discuss the truncated version of this distribution and its statistical properties,and estimate its length *** use the estimated distance to study the conditions that give a finite expected value of the first meeting time between this nanorobot in the case of nonlinear flow with independent d-dimensional Gaussian jumps and an independent d-dimensional CD4 T Brownian cell in the blood(d-space)to prevent the HIV virus from proliferating within this cell.

Background: Diabetes is a risk factor for depression, but little is known about anxiety and other psychiatric disorders and quality of life. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of depression, anxiety in diabetic patients in our locality and to assess the quality of life in type 2 DM. Subjects & Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study and was carried out in outpatient clinics of specialized medical hospital, Mansoura university for a period of one year. From 217 diabetes mellitus subjects, only 202 patients were matched with 247 healthy people as a control group. all subjects were examined by using socioeconomic data, clinical data, and anthropometric examinations to assess body mass index and waist circumference. all patients were interviewed by using the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) version 5, MINI, Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HAD) and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) scales. Laboratory investigation in the form of fasting and two-hour postprandial blood sugar (FBS & 2hpp) and HbA1C levels were done. Results: 18.3% were found to be major depressive disorder;and 2.5% panic disorder, 1% other phobia. Generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder were found in one patient, no patients were found to be diagnosed as Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or substance abuse. although there was no statistically significant difference between subjects and control groups regarding height, there was statistically significant difference between weights, BMI, with more scores among DM group. Moreover our study showed that HbA1c, fasting blood sugar, two hours post prandial blood sugar were more among DM patients and control groups. Anxiety, depression, and poorer quality of life were found to be more prevalent among DM patients than control groups. Conclusion: DM is associated with depression anxiety disorder with poorer quality of life.

The cerebral arterial circle (circle of Willis) plays an important role in the redistribution of the blood flow between the anterior and posterior territories and maintains the plasticity of the cerebral blood circulation. The anatomical variability of the vascular circle often alters the cerebral hemodynamics and determines the outcomes of acute and chronic cerebrovascular disease. The heritability and prevalence of certain variants of the circle of Willis in different ethnic and racial groups are frequently disputed by authors. Our cross-sectional retrospective study aims to compare the patterns of the cerebral arterial circle in 64 Caucasian cadavers with 64 Arabic living individuals, by methods of anatomic dissection and magnetic resonance angiography, respectively. The typical structure of the circle of Willis was revealed in 8.3% of the Caucasian study group, and in 22.2% of the Arabic one. The anterior part of the circle of Willis was incomplete in 6 out of 64 of the Caucasian specimens, where the anterior communicating artery was hypoplastic (6.3%) or absent (3.1%). The posterior part of the circle of Willis had hypoplastic or absent posterior communicating artery on one side in 20, and on both sides in 12 out of 64 Caucasian specimens. In the Arabic cohort, the posterior part of the circle of Willis was incomplete in 17 out of 64 specimens, with absence of the posterior communicating artery unilaterally (in 11 cases) or bilaterally (in 6 cases). The present study reveals that the configuration of the cerebral arterial circle and distribution of the blood flow between the anterior and posterior territories have certain differences in the Caucasian study group versus the Arabic one.

Indomie Noodle Healthy Formulae Instead of the Commercial Formula

This investigation was carried out to evaluate some different seasoning made of onion, garlic, red chili, oregano, marjoram, basil, rosemary, cumin and black pepper to give light and healthy formulae to add to instant indomie noodle. Antioxidants were assessed in raw materials and their formulae, also sensory properties were evaluated in different instant indomie noodle seasoning formulae. The results in raw materials explored that the seasoning contains large amounts of antioxidants content, total carotenoids, volatile oil and antioxidant activity compared with the commercial formula. Corn oil was used as a carrier for the commercial formula and separated three tested spice formulae in ratio 1:100 w/w. Three chosen tested formulas;onion, garlic, red chili 1);oregano, marjoram, basil 2) and rosemary, cumin, black pepper 3) were used in the research. The results indicated that formula 3 has higher antioxidant activity (119.00%) than formula 1 and 2 (83.33% and 62.33%, respectively). Meanwhile, the results from sensory evaluation showed that no significant difference appeared from the different spice formulae. Biological experiment was carried out for these formulae and measured the liver reduced glutathione (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD), malonaldehyde (MDA), serum liver enzymes aspartate and alanine aminotransferases and alkaline phosphatase (AST, alT and alP), serum total protein, albumin and globulin also, renal function (uric acid, urea and creatinine) in rats fed on basal diet including oil carried the commercial formula or instant indomie noodle tested seasoning formulae. The results illustrated that the different instant indomie noodle seasoning formulae gave better results than the commercial formula in liver and renal functions. It could be recommended that consuming the suggested different seasoning formulae instead of the commercial questioned one as sodium glutamate prevent many harmful effects.
