Effects of High Voltage and Flow r.te Par.meter. on Nanofiber. Diameter.Synthesis by Electr.spinning Technique

Electr.spinning has r.cently emer.ed as a leading technique for.gener.ting biomimetic scaffolds made of synthetic and natur.l polymer. for.tissue engineer.ng applications. In this study, we pr.par.d polyvinyl alcohol （PVA） solution as biopolymer.mater.al for.fabr.cation of scaffolds tissue by electr.spiuning, we optimized the shape and size of the ensuing electr.spun fiber. by var.ing of the electr.spinning pr.cess, such as high voltage with 5-25 kV and polymer.c solution r.te with 0.2-10 ml/h. Scanning electr.n micr.scopy was utilized the topogr.phy of individual electr.spun fiber.. Distr.bution of mean diameter. of the synthesis fiber. wer. measur.d fi＇om scanning electr.n micr.gr.phs. Fiber. diameter. size r.lated with fiber. a count in SEM images as gaussian distr.bution with maximum peak r.pr.sented the aver.ge fiber. diameter.. Our.r.sults indicate that the aver.ge diameter.PVA fiber. could be scaled down to mean values 80-500 nm without any beads, fiber. diameter.incr.ased as applied voltage decr.ased and decr.ase as polymer.c solution flow r.te incr.ase to be with 300-580 nm as mean diameter..
