水泥土格栅墙能有效减缓被围束土体在地震作用下的剪切荷载及变形,已广泛应用为一种高效的抗液化对策。针对其长期服役过程,开展了两组超重力离心模型试验以研究强振历史对水泥土格栅墙内被围束土体液化响应的影响。两组模型均由15 m厚的易液化含黏粒砂土和2.5 m厚的粗砂层组成。其中,一组模型采用水泥土格栅墙对易液化层进行加固;另一组模型则未进行处理,作为自由场地对照组。两组模型均经历振幅为0.15g的振动事件,且在0.15g振动事件前,对两组模型施加振幅为0.4g的振动事件作为强振历史。试验结果表明,格栅墙在强振下主要的损伤模式表现为竖向贯穿型裂缝,并部分伴随有局部斜向裂缝,且外侧格室对于中心格室表现出类似于群桩基础的“遮蔽效应”。强振历史后,格栅墙中心格室内被围束土体的超静孔压显著低于自由场地,损伤后格栅墙仍具有良好的抗液化效果。同时,格栅墙由于强振后整体刚度的削弱,其与下卧粗砂层间的剪切变形显著减小。

Ladder climbing is a relatively new but practical locomotion style for robots. Unfortunately, due to their size and weight, ladder climbing by human-sized robots developed so far is struggling with the speedup of ladder climbing motion itself. Therefore, in this paper, a new ladder climbing gait for the robot WAREC-1R is proposed by the authors, which is both faster than the former ones and stable. However, to realize such a gait, a point that has to be taken into consideration is the deformation caused by the self-weight of the robot. To deal with this issue, extra hardware (sensor) and software (position and force control) systems and extra time for sensing and calculation were required. For a complete solution without any complicated systems and time only for deformation compensation, limb stiffness improvement plan by the minimal design change of mechanical parts of the robot is also proposed by the authors, with a thorough study about deformation distribution in the robot. With redesigned parts, ladder climbing experiments by WAREC-1R proved that both the new ladder climbing gait and the limb stiffness improvement are successful, and the reduced deformation is very close to the estimated value as well.

The first generation of the oriental armyworm, Mythimna separata(Walker), arrives every year in northern Japan in mainly late May to early June. Analyses of weather maps suggested that this moth’s immigration source could be eastern China, but the accuracy of those analyses was very limited due to the lack of a current standard trajectory analysis. The management of migratory insect pests such as M. separata benefits from the identification of the migration source(s)and pathway(s) of the pests. The present study provides a trajectory analysis for M. separata. Backward trajectories from trap sites in northern Japan were calculated with the HYSPLIT System developed by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, taking the flight speed of M. separata and the limitation of low ambient temperature at flight height into account. The ending times of the moth’s short and long trajectories were set at dusk on the day before and two days before the possible arrival date, respectively. The results suggested two types of possible migration pathway: a multi-step pathway from Northeast China, the Korean Peninsula, and eastern Russia, which are destination areas of the first-generation’s migration, and a direct pathway from seasonal main emigration areas in eastern China such as Jiangsu and Shandong provinces. These findings contribute to our understanding of the migration ecology of M. separata and can be used for the development of methods to predict the migration of this insect.

目的经颈静脉或经股动脉途径被用作当前实践中肝静脉压力梯度(HVPG)测量的常用方法。该研究旨在证实经前臂静脉途径测量HVPG的安全性和有效性。方法针对2020年9月至2020年12月前瞻性地从中国和日本的6所医院招募了经前臂静脉进行HVPG检测肝硬化患者,并收集患者的临床基线资料以及HVPG检测数据。入组患者均选择经右侧肘正中静脉或贵要静脉入路,采用HVPG标准化流程进行测压。研究数据采用SPSS 22.0统计学软件进行分析。定量资料采用中位数(四分位数间距)表示,定性资料采用频数和率表示。两组数据之间的相关性分析采用Pearson相关性分析。结果研究共入组43例患者,其中41例(95.3%)患者成功接受了经前臂静脉途径HVPG检测。无患者出现任何严重并发症。经前臂静脉途径HVPG检测中位操作时间为18.0min(12.3~38.8min)。研究证实HVPG与Child-Pugh评分(r=0.47,P=0.002)、白蛋白-胆红素评分(r=0.37,P=0.001)、Lok指数(r=0.36,P=0.02)、肝脏硬度(r=0.58,P=0.01)、脾硬度(r=0.77,P=0.01)呈正相关,且与白蛋白呈负相关(r=-0.42,P=0.006)。结论多中心回顾性研究结果提示经前臂静脉途径HVPG测量是安全可行的。

Physical factors affecting the survival of Tachypleus tridentatus eggs were investigated by translocating their eggs between the high intertidal zone and the low intertidal zone of a known spawning *** mean egg survival rates per day were highest in the mid intertidal zone(45.1%±25.4%)and the lowest in the low intertidal zone(13.3%±27.6%).Differences in the elevation,air exposure time,and water content of the spawning ground were significant factors determining the egg survival *** or insufficient air exposure time resulted in inadequate water content at higher and lower intertidal zones and could reduce egg *** the other hand,moderate saturation and dehydration were repeated with each tidal movement in the mid intertidal *** dynamic is considered as one of the crucial factors for the survival of eggs and is considered optimal for ***,the protection of the mid intertidal zone is imperative for maximizing the egg survival rate in Tsuyazaki Cove where almost all suitable nesting sites have disappeared due to coastal *** protecting these optimal sites for spawning and recovering other optimal sites on suitable beaches,a positive contribution can be made to future management and *** study also suggests that translocating eggs from marginal to optimal spawning sites might be a recovery strategy for this globally endangered species.

Despite some efforts and attempts have been made to improve the direction-of-arrival(DOA)estimation performance of the standard Capon beamformer(SCB)in array processing,rigorous statistical performance analyses of these modified Capon estimators are still *** paper studies an improved Capon estimator(ICE)for estimating the DOAs of multiple uncorrelated narrowband signals,where the higherorder inverse(sample)array covariance matrix is used in the Capon-like cost *** establishing the relationship between this nonparametric estimator and the parametric and classic subspace-based MUSIC(multiple signal classification),it is clarified that as long as the power order of the inverse covariance matrix is increased to reduce the influence of signal subspace components in the ICE,the estimation performance of the ICE becomes equivalent to that of the MUSIC regardless of the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).Furthermore the statistical performance of the ICE is analyzed,and the large-sample mean-squared-error(MSE)expression of the estimated DOA is *** the effectiveness and the theoretical analysis of the ICE are substantiated through numerical examples,where the Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRB)is used to evaluate the validity of the derived asymptotic MSE expression.
