In order to investigate the design method for a micro centrifugal compressor, which is the most important component of an ultra micro gas turbine, two types of centrifugal impeller with 2-dimensional blade were designed, manufactured and tested. These impellers have different shapes of hub on the meridional plane with each other. Moreover, these types of impeller were made for the 5 times and the 6 times size of the final target centrifugal impeller with the outer diameter of 4ram in order to assess the similitude for the impellers. The comparison among the performance characteristics of the impellers revealed the influence of the meridional configuration on the performance and the similitude of the compressors.

In the operation of a centrifugal compressor of turbocharger, instability phenomena such as rotating stall and surge are induced at a lower flow rate close to the maximum pressure ratio. In this study, for the suppression of surge phenomenon resulting in the extension of the stable operating range of centrifugal compressor to lower flow rate, the compressed air at the compressor exit was re-circulated and injected into the impeller inlet by using the double injection nozzle system. The experiments were performed to find out the optimum circumferential position of the second nozzle relative to the fixed first one and the optimum inner diameter of the injection nozzles, which are able to most effectively reduce the flow rate of surge inception. Moreover, in order to examine the universality of these optimum values, the experiments were carried out for two types of compressors.

A single stage ultra micro centrifugal compressor constituting ultra micro gas turbine is required to operate at high rotational speed in order to achieve the pressure ratio which establishes the gas turbine cycle. As a conse- quence, the aerodynamic losses can be increased by the interaction of a shock wave with the boundary layer on the blade surface. Moreover, the centrifugal force which exceeds the allowable s^ress of the impeller material can act on the root of blades. On the other hand, the restrictions of processing technology for the downsizing of im- peller not only relatively enlarge the size of tip clearance but also make it difficult to shape the impeller with the i three-dimensional blade. Therefore, it is important to establish the design technology for the impeller with the two-dimensional blade which possesses the sufficient aerodynamic performance and enough strength to bear the centrifugal force caused by the high rotational speed. In this study, the flow in two types of impeller with the two-dimensional blade which have different meridional configuration was analyzed numerically, The computed results clarified the influence of the meridional configuration on the loss generations in the impeller passage.

The diagnosis of the Middle Jurassic spinicaudatan genus Shizhuestheria is revised following the re-examination under a scanning electron microscope of a type specimen from Yanxi of Shizhu, and the newly collected specimens from Xintiangou of Chengjiang Town, Beibei, Chongqing. Small-sized reticulations occur not only in the middle-sized reticulations on growth bands on the dorsal side of the carapace, but also on growth bands on the ventral side of the carapace, which have been overlooked in the original description. The shift from wide dorsal growth bands to narrow ventral ones might indicate an onset of sexual maturity, and the transition in biological priorities from rapid juvenile growth to reproductive activities.

The rapidity dependence of the elliptic flow of direct photons in Au＋Au collisions at√ s NN = 200 GeV are predicted,based on a three-dimensional ideal hydrodynamic description of the hot and dense *** rapidity dependence of the elliptic flow v 2 （y） of direct photons （mainly thermal photons） is very sensitive to the initial energy density distribution along longitudinal direction,which provides a useful tool to extract the realistic initial condition from measurements.

In practical engineering, many phenomena are described as a discontinuous function of a state variable, and the discontinuity is usually the main reason for the degradation of the control performance. For example, in the set-point control problem of mechanical systems, the static friction （described by a sgn function of velocity of the contacting faces） causes undesired positioning error. In this paper, we will investigate the stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear systems that consist of two subsystems with cascaded connection. We will show the basic idea with a special case first, and then the result will be extended to more general cases. Some interesting numerical examples will be given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design approach.

Flame-retardant polymer electrolytes(FRSPEs)are attractive due to their potential for fundamentally settling the safety issues of liquid ***,the current FRSPEs have introduced large quantity of flame-retardant composition which cannot conduct lithium ions,thus decreasing the Li-ion ***,we synthesize a novel liquid monomer 2-((bis((2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methoxy)phosphoryl)oxy)ethyl acrylate(BDPA)for preparing FRSPE by in-situ polymerization,in which PBDPA polymer can not only conduct lithium ions,but also prevent *** prepared FRSPE demonstrated outstanding flame-retardant property,favorable lithium-ion conductivity of 5.65×10^(-4) S cm^(-1) at ambient temperature,and a wide electrochemical window up to 4.5 ***,the Li/in-situ FRSPE/S@pPAN cell exhibited favorable electrochemical *** believe that this work provides an effective strategy for establishing high-performance fireproof quasi-solid-state battery system.
